I ordered a shrimp avocado salad and i got a chicken avocado salad. But it is ok. I do not like to waste food so I ate it. It is actually alot! I have 2 days trying to finish it I still have it in my refrigerator. The enchiladas were good! I also liked the cheese cake. I would come again.

Lovely local place that has two other locations. Food and drink were great. I had the seasonal special, Dave's Beard (Has Gotten Spicy). A tasty take on the club with fresh jalapeños and avocado. I also enjoyed the Cockie Leeky soup. The dessert of the Deep Dish Apple Pie a la mode was very good and should've been shared with another. I definitely did not finish it though I tried.

VEGAN OPTIONS AVAILABLE! This is a such a cute spot in Downtown Fullerton. I used to go all the time in college and came back to town to visit and it’s just as great! This is a really affordable place to have lunch, they serve cocktails for $6.95 which to me is unheard of. I have not been to a place with such GOOD + inexpensive drinks! I had the falafel plate which was probably more of an appetizer plate but good nonetheless. The service was slow but our server was nice and friendly when she came around! This is a great place for anyone looking for a fresh lunch. They have everything from sandwiches, to salads, to yummy cocktails! Thank you for having me!

We all regularly require a Safe Place. Around here, this is where I can hide and be treated like an actual human being. The food here is honest about what it is. Come on down, and you can just the food, but they would never ever ever judge you. 😊

I love Rutabergorz in Fullerton. All their locations have wonderful food and service. After a long 5 mile walk, we came here to have a healthy meal. The portions are a good size. I had a tuna wrap and my friend had a salad. The salad could feed at least 4 people! Bon Apetite!

Gotta love the sandwiches, salads and cockie leaky soups! Amazing smoothies and drinks also! I’ve been going up the Tustin location for 25 years. This location is outstanding also. Enjoy.

The food was great, and the portions are generous. Service was a little slow, but overall, it was a great experience.

A charming place to meet friends and have lunch. Homestyle atmosphere with lots of eclectic decor throughout. They also have a very extensive menu! Service is friendly and efficient. Reservations are not accepted but they have three dining rooms and a fairly large outdoor patio. Our party of 5 was able to be seated immediately on a recent Tuesday at 12:30 and parking was easy.

Is it not the best sandwich shop in Fullerton? That's for you to experience. HUGE variety of soups, sandwiches, and other meals at a relatively low cost. Rutabegorz has been my go-to for a while. Many vegetarian foods too. Their Cockie-Leeky soup is the best!

Finally, vegan and vegetarian food that's actually good! I normally eschew vegetarian/vegan restaurants because I often find they put little to no effort to make their food appealing to omnivores (like me), but Rutabegorz has changed my mind I went here yesterday on a date since all the other places in town were overpriced and we wanted a good, hearty meal, so we decided to try this place for the first time. The portions were ***massive*** for the price, and the food was filling. They actually do have meat options but I decided to get the vegetarian lasagna, and let me tell you, I did not miss the meat at all! The lasagna was so good on its own, but especially with the raw sliced tomatoes on top (it sounds weird but it's actually an amazing combo, trust me). My date got a sandwich which ended up being absolutely massive, about half the size of their whole head! I loved that fresh fruit was included with our meals too, it's a nice healthy desert aftet a big meal. The food overall was very fresh with high quality ingredients. For the modest price, the proportions were big so I was pretty full (but without that gross feeling and the guilt). We will definitely be back here next time we visit Fullerton!

Enjoyed lunch here with my husband. Love the freshly made sandwiches; especially the albacore tuna. It's been a while since I have ordered a tuna sandwich and it was delicious. Love being able to order a 1/2 sandwich with a cup of soup/salad. Good size and delicious specialty coffees are always a treat here. Service was a little slow this time considering it was not during rush time. It was in the middle of the afternoon. Perhaps service staff was cut back.

I have been going to Rutabgorz in Fullerton for over 10 years. The outdoor seating with fireplace is awesome in winter and the fans are awesome in summer. I bring my pup and he is always welcomed. The food and service is stellar. Can't beat the price for the healthy ingredients or the serving size. My Mom and I always split the dish and still have leftovers. Thank you for being such a great contribution to the community for all these years.

Very cute place, with a huge menu. Everyone will find something tasty here. Good prices, many options between $7-15. Lots of healthy vegan and vegetarian choices alongside chicken, turkey, tuna, and shrimp entrees. Wholesome dishes on the kids menu. I'll definitely be back!

I just went there and decided to try it out of recommendation from a friend. Prices are somewhat expensive but they do offer a decent selection of bagels, coffee and sandwiches. They’re specializing in vegetarian meals so I bought their veggie burger. It’s pretty interesting they use a sourdough bread to cover up the patty and it works quite well. Although the bread was a bit tough and overly toasted, the patty is really tasty along with the simple melted cheddar cheese on top of it. It’s $14 after tax but the portion is decent. Not too bad for a first try and the interior is quite nice. It’s Slow during the day. So unless you’re meeting a friend or a date, better to do a takeout. They’re definitely one of the few nice vegetarian restaurants around the area. Just be prepared to spend some extra money especially if you eat inside.

Literally the most fresh food I ever eat is from here. The smoothies made with real fruit and the giant salads are the best; I literally always get a salad, so yummy. Highly recommend for some quality healthy food.

The 50¢ appetizer was a fun quirky way to start the meal. I had had the Stew You House Special (or similar name) on a previous visit and then came back with friends simply because I wanted it again. We sat outside in the patio which was casual, but pleasant and fresh. Loved it all.

The daves hot sandwich is the best sandwich I have had in a long time! It’s spicy , meaty, crisp , has avocado jalapeños , cheese turkey bacon , ham.. its a big sandwich definitely worth it

This is such a great place. Homey, comfortable, great food & service. Even has a patio. Such an assortment of choices on the menu but I always get the same thing because I can't get it anywhere else & it's so delicious. The cream cheese, black olives, tomatoes, red onions & pepperoni sandwich. The macaroni salad is really good that comes with it. I've been going there for over 20 years as I live nearby & it was the first time for 2 of my friends who came from the San Pedro area. They loved it, too. Manager Dane was very friendly & was happy to have new customers that will definitely go back. The fact that it's been there for 52 years says a lot about how great it is! Thank you!!

Great service, good food, large portions. Our waiter, Gerardo was very attentive. He checked on us often and made sure to keep the water 💧 coming. I drink a lot of water, so I really appreciate that! We started with their $0.52 Dip Special, which was fresh carrots and celery sticks with a yummy peanut butter a Thai sauce dip. Then we ordered the Garlic Chicken pasta and the Veggie Mu Shu. Both were delicious and large enough for us to take home enough for another meal later on. Finished off with a Yerba Buena Latte, which was slightly minty and very satisfying.
