Matthew and Andy are the only reason this place is receiving 3 stars. If you are on a trip and this is what you can afford, do it, but don't expect anything other than the bare minimum. Marriott RIs post pandemic are a shadow of what they used to be. The breakfast is not worth getting out of bed for. There's no more happy hour. And, you are lucky if you receive a full cleaning of your room. It's normally just new towels, trash removal, bed made, and add more water to the Palmolive soap bottle. You will need to wear shoes on the carpet - DO NOT WALK BAREFOOT INSIDE, cover the couch and chairs to sit on them. The mattresses look newer, which is great. The towels appear to get good bleaching, but the bathrooms haven't been upgraded since the property was built. Super low toilets, with literally a drop to sit on them and the shower/tubs have dirty/molded caulking that should be bleach out but there's probably no time in the cleaning schedule to do this. THIS IS AN EXTENDED STAY HOTEL. MEANING YOU WILL NEVER GET A 4TH FLOOR ROOM UNLESS YOU ARE THERE FOR AN EXTENDED STAY. There will be little feet running around above and in the hallways. And, it's party central by the pool, so if you need a quiet afternoon/ evening, stay away from rooms in that area.

This has been my 3rd stay at this location for a business trip, and I'm finally writing a review. This hotel is in a good location and centrally located to many shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to the coast. The rooms have always been very clean and are spacious, and I've had no issues with internet/wifi. The staff has always been very nice and accommodating, especially Andy (abbreviated), who went out of her way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible, especially after a prior personal incident. I cannot thank Andy and the rest of the staff enough for making each of my stays a great experience, and I highly recommend this location if you're visiting the area.

So, granted I didn’t pay for this room cause I came with family. The room was cute but my parents room was not finished. Missed towels and a few pillows. When asking for the pillows were suppose to, we were told that it was an extra charge. Also, the hairdryer didn’t work. It wasn’t all bad though. The breakfast was good and they had enough equipment for a decent work out. If we came out here for another game and stayed the night, we might just come back

This Marriott is great. We had a good time here. Very close to Manhattan Beach and the airport. The reason I have scored it down is we didn’t get to use the pool or jacuzzi as it was far too busy! I did mention this too reception they agreed and they said it can like that with big families taking over the place. I didn’t feel we got maximum value from this as we lost the Ability to use the pool. The room was great size however on the first night I couldn’t sleep as the air conditioning was way too loud and when the technician came he said that’s a standard sound for it, surprising as I stay in many hotels and it’s not like that at all. I turned it off completely and managed without

Stayed here twice in one week, Wednesday and Saturday night. First stay, elevator was broken and they told us they would help us with our bags, after waiting 10 minutes we went up 3 flights of stairs to our room. They offered free parking at checkin due to no elevator. Not sure why they charge for parking. It’s not down town. Also not sure why they offered to help with bags when they didn’t show. 2nd visit: they oversold my room, downgraded me and to my horror my room was dirty. No apology or any way to fix it. She did let me know in the system it was clean, but when there is a comforter package and garbage on the floor, unacceptable. If you are a titanium elite member don’t expect to be treated like one even thou you spend thousands of dollars at Marriott. No welcome gifts, bottle water, etc.

Standard appearance Residence Inn room but bedroom appears to be smaller as the dresser drawer hits the bed when it's open. The queen size bed appears to be smaller too. TV channels are very limited n no premium channels. Location is quiet as it's closed to tech business offices. Free taxi to the airport but need to notify front desk during check-in. Otherwise, everything is standard Residence Inn fare

We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott LAS/El Segundo and was pleasantly surprised. It is an older hotel but the staff takes care of the hotel as if they owned the property. We travel a lot and stay at various Marriott level hotels and we rate this one at the very top of the list. The staff keeps the rooms EXTREMELY clean (I didn't see dust in corners, hair, nothing but cleanliness), the breakfast was hot with real food and great coffee, and the location of the hotel is great.

Nice hotel but I don't like the fact that you have to go in and out of the hotel to get to your rooms. The living room furniture smelled like body odor. We had to open the window to get rid of the smell.

Great hotel for long stays, it has its own kitchen in the room, with a big fridge. Location is very convenient, very close to the airport, but not close enough to be noisy. Some of the food of the breakfast is in place even like 15 min before the official breakfast hour. Rooms are clean and comfortables. The only thing is that the curtains do not block all the light from the windows during the night. Nonetheless if I ever go back, I for sure will stay there.

Stayed here as close to my office & was super impressed compared to other local hotels. Plenty of parking Friendly staff Great rooms with a full kitchen Good range for breakfast Only negative is need to tell reception if want housekeeping the next day. Otherwise great & will be the place I stay in future for office visits & have also told other out of town colleagues to stay here too.

The didn't clean our room or restocked towels and Toilet paper....we had to use napkins for put bathroom business and the old towels 3x....small room and not enough space for what we thought we paid for...breakfast was cool though and caught a few glimpses of the L.A Lakers!

The property is only a little dated, but it was clean and had great amenities. The staff were super personable and accommodating. Breakfast was stellar. The hot tub was closed and under repair, which was a bummer.

Horrified doesn't begin to describe the experience. My dad stayed here on a business trip. In the early morning hours on his last night, a criminal threw a brick through his window and attempted to break in and attack him. It has been 24 hours since the incident. No one from Marriott Corporate or this location has been in contact with him. I am also a high level long time customer and will be reconsidering our family's travel loyalties.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and is easily accessible by car. Self-parking is a piece of cake for only $17 a night. The room was spacious and clean with a coffee maker, full fridge, and dinette area. I fully intend to return to this hotel next time I travel for business to LA.

I recommend it 100%!!!! It is an excellent play to stay with the family. The staff is very friendly. We met Vanessa and Jackie at the lobby and they were very helpful and resourceful. The staff in the kitchen were also very friendly and kind. We enjoyed of a great breakfast every morning. They offer a great variety of great foods. The rooms were very clean!!!! My family and I love the stay and will love to come back for upcoming vacations. It is located near great beaches, like Hermosa beach and Manhattan beach.

Decent hotel with decent amenities EXCEPT for the pull out bed. Absolutely unsleepable. Breakfast is average and everything else is pretty much as advertised, but if you need to use the pull out, do not count on it.

I'm giving two stars because of the incident and that doesn't make any sense and the fact that I didn't even receive apology it was like it was no big deal really ticked me off. I pre-paid for my hotel with Expedia so the only thing I had to put a card down for incidentals which I did. They told me I would receive a receipt through Expedia since that's who I had pre-paid with. I'm going through my account today and I realize that I was double charged $348. How would you make a mistake to double charge a room and we used different cards. My room was booked with my husband card and I put my card down for incidentals. if you stay here make sure you pay attention to your account.

Here is my experience, the receptionist was a nice and friendly. Hot breakfast buffet, was good. However, the room's smell wasnt good. The big concern is that my son was sick, so I had to take him to the hospital after midnight, and there were some weird people downstairs at the swimming pool and some others at the garden smoking a lot of weed and drinking; I felt unsafe, especially with six years old son! This property is NOT family-friendly.

Great Customer service during checkin. She explained breakfast, parking fee and the grounds. She gave us choice of which building we wanted to stay in. I took one Star off due to grounds needing renovations, elevators needling upgrades and tlc in the hallways. Overall the stay was good. We would stay again. It was quiet at night. We were only there for one night.

Stayed here one night when we realized we made a booking error at our stay at Springhill Suites. Our room here was roughly $40 more per night than Springhill, but the quality is infinitely superior. Spacious rooms, spacious and equipped exercise room, and a nice breakfast for the morning. Place was quiet and staff friendly.

Very large complex in need of a renovation but fairly clean. Nice staff and the breakfast was pretty good. Has an outdoor pool and a gym. Ours was a combination visit of personal and business needs and they did well on both counts. The location is right on the rail line and in the middle of the tech region.

I stayed here during a recent business trip to the South LAX area. It is conveniently located to several large business in the area. There are a few restaurants close by within walking distance or more within 5-10 minutes drive. It is also close to the Metro. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was relatively quiet given the nearby airport and metro station.

Affordable hotel near LAX. Rooms are a bit dated but have everything you need for your stay. Breakfast is quite decent as well. Would definitely stay again with the family. We used this as a base for Universal studios and Manhattan beach area. Great location.

Wonderfully clean laundry room, eating common area and room! Check in on memorial day weekend, Saturday May 28th, was seamless. I was greeted by Andy (the manager on shift) and she was extremely welcoming provided me with the information I needed to know about the property and time breakfast was served. I have zero complaints and will be back. Thank you residence inn for the amazing stay! I only took pictures of my breakfast. 😂

We really enjoyed our stay. We had to travel for my husband's job. The hotel, had the perfect proximity within his engagement. There were two issues. One in our bathroom there were termites. The last issue there was a strange smell on the first level of our unit. It would get stronger as you declined the stairs and walked toward the hall to the pool. However honestly, none of that messed up our two day stay.
