It is divided into 2 sections. Trail end points: Lake Abram on Eastland Rd. and Lake Isaac on Big Creek Pkwy. Nice paved path for walking and jogging. You will have to cross a major road (Bagley) by Southwest Hospital. The first section has a tunnel over train tracks. The second section has a long wooded walkway that leads to a small play area. Also take Lake Isaac Trail. This one mile wooded walk is great for kids. You pass a pond where turtles frogs and snakes can be found.

Very peaceful trails. The parking is a little tight, but I had no problems on a weekday in the after school hours. There is a small wading area, like dip your feet in. I did see some broken glass in the area though, so I recommend water shoes. There is some poison ivy and lots of mosquitoes, so stay on the trails and wear bug spray. We saw some cool birds, but I don't really know what kind. There is a pond that had a bunch of turtles in it, if you really stopped and looked for them. When I was there, it was almost exclusively people coming from work (with badges on) or people walking their dogs, but our toddlers had fun exploring and walking on the mostly flat land.

After you park, get out of your car and look for the giant elm tree with the plaque, which explains that tree species' history. And take the long hike, across the main road, and walk under the really cool train tunnel, then keep going until you get to Bagley Road. Along the way, there's a huge marsh area with a beautiful wooden boardwalk. A few minor hills to hike, but nothing arduous.

Nice trail, clean and easy to ride. A wonderful place to sit and enjoy a box lunch with nature.

Small beautiful lake and kind of a starting point for the lake to lake trail. You can walk/bike till lake Abrams which is 2.4mi from lake Isaac. I have walked in all seasons and it's beautiful.

We love this place. We can not wait to take those long walks in the Summer and we have gone when the weather breaks in the Spring. A treasure in the Emerald Necklace!

Nice lake that is alongside the all-purpose-trail which is paved and fits any fitness levels. There is also a about 1 mile loop trail into the woods that is relatively easy but will sometimes become muddy. On the lake itself are some benches that make it a great place to eat and relax.

A pretty little lake right off Big Creek Parkway. Only complaint was the QR code on the plaque is out of date.
