Camping In D, small tight area, wouldn’t recommend Area D for anyone with more than 16ft trailer and 1 vehicle.. areas are right fit but area A & B nicest. Bathrooms in Area A is nice. Don’t go to the one by the boat ramp! Park is guarded so we feel secure, though of course signs recommend you lock your doors, which is common sense. Sunsets in the Lake are beautiful, the down fall is the nuclear Plant across the lake.. As for everything I made this is a nice place to come and enjoy fishing and camping. Thought the sunset was beautiful enjoy the pictures.

Great park! Has playground, swimming area plenty of room for camping. Lake Dardanelle is so much fun. The visitor center is beautiful and has some really cool things inside to check out and learn. Has plenty of piers to fish off. Bathrooms stay taken care of and clean. The staff at the park is always friendly. Has a small ramp for boats to launch at the rear as well as the main ramp at the park. Has lots of picnic tables around the park to enjoy lunch and watch sunsets!

Absolutely breathtaking. We were lucky enough to get a spot here. We were so in awe that we extended our stay a 2nd night. The nature center is beautiful. The staff is kind and extremely helpful. This state park has so much to offer. It is extremely well maintained. They offer a loaner fishing pole program as well. We live 1000 miles away and are already talking about coming back. The sunset was gorgeous.

I have been going here for years and I love it. Great fishing and swimming. It also has some affordable boat rentals with some very nice people running that shop. All of the marina stuff is pretty incredible and an awesome new addition. My parents also got married here in the 80s so I might have a soft spot for the location.

We love Darndelle State Park. The visitor center is beautiful and we enjoy the walking paths down by the water. Covered picnic tables with great views of the Lake. Highly recommend whether your camping or just visiting for a day!

One of our favorite places to stop and camp if you’re traveling i40. Great access, huge rv camp sites, lake access, bathhouse, boat rentals, lots of activities and cheap! We have stayed 3 different times on our travels.

Lake Dardanelle is very cool and friendly to visitors. You don't have to pay to put your boat in the water. They have many different boat ramps and locations to park. Scenic views and lots of places to explore.

Beautiful clean day park as well as camping. Small RV spots overall, but pretty individual docks over the lake for many of them. Could use more tent camping space. Playground was a hit and had great shade coverage. Bathroom amenities were clean. Thank you!

Absolutely Marvelous lake front area, the pier allows for access for fishing and the views are breathtaking, combined with an assortment of different activities that may be accomplished if you desire! Absolutely ideal place for families and friends to enjoy the water front and camping with a cozy atmosphere in a secure area that's quiet and friendly, with shopping close by and restaurants with your every desire 😀

Nice playground for the kids to play at. Beach access looks like a great time in the summer. A lake with some mountains is always a nice place to stop and take in the scenery. We will visit again next time we are in town.

Has always been a nice park. Close to things but also a lake/woods vibe. Great improvements to the main shower/bathrooms.

Beautiful lake, relaxing place. Lots of history here, including one of the passage ways for the Indians on the Trail of Tears. Check out the office area for huge aquariums, lots of trinkets, history videos and more

Very beautiful park. We stayed in a "camper site" even though we are tent campers, because we wanted the electrical hookup and to be close to the water edge. We would have liked if we could get in the water right from our campsite, but with the boat docks right there and the rock edge and weeds about, it's probably not a great idea - nonetheless, they have a nice little beach area perfect for the kids. The visitor center is awesome, with lots of aquariums, great views, and a bee hive station - plus plenty of video and reading education. We hiked, we biked, we played on the playground - everything was good here. Only downside is number of bathrooms is a bit sparse, so you will have to walk from your site or from the playground/etc - yep, no bathroom near a playground, kind of poor design if you have kids, you know! Bathrooms we found though were very clean and well taken care of. Hot showers, private bath with shower in it. All in all, this was a great park and if we revisit, we'll stay at the camper sites again but probably with a less obstructed view - that boat dock really ruined the sunsets/etc. The staff was VERY awesome in the park everyone we met. Plenty of parking. Plenty or acreage. Great stay. Only complaint really was the obnoxious people with dogs who camped here and tied their dog to a tree and weren't paying attention to it at all. I suppose the park employees could check on that activity more often. That, and people with dogs on NO LEASH!

What a gorgeous place. The park is well maintained and the staff was friendly. Well worth a stop. I could have camped here for a month.

Very beautiful park! While I was there, I spoke to a local fisherman, and while we were talking, he caught a couple of very nice catfish.

Was here, so we stopped in to see the park and get our Passport Stamps. Can't remember her name, but the lady working the visitors center was truly a joy to talk with. She is very knowledgeable about Arkansas' state parks and even knows a thing or 2 about National Parks. We have only 3 reasons to come back to this park and thats to camp, fish, and visit with her some more. BTW, the camp sights look amazing. Not many trails it seems, but then we'd be there more for the fishing. If you've never heard of the fishing on Lake Dardanelle then you either don't fish much or you need to get out more. lol Views are nice. You can see Mt. Nebo SP across the lake in the distance and AR Nuclear 1 just downstream. Currently planning our next visit to the park.

I am a truck driver and my wife and I were in town during Memorial Day weekend. The park allowed me to park bobtail. It’s a very nice park with a cool guest center and plenty of places to sit and eat.

Beautiful park!! Great place to fish, have picnics, and a small beach. I hope the pontoon tour boats are repaired soon.

The staff that work there are wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. My biggest problem was that my site was full of ticks and dried dog poo was just behind the fire ring. Campsite 75 didn't have the problem, but when I moved to campsite 79, we started having to deal with ticks. Love the view of the lake from there and it's a quiet cove on the Dardanelle side.

An excellent place to spend a day outside with the family. The park runs along the lake and features some wonderful views excellent fishing spots, plenty of shade trees to have a picnic or grill. There's also a Pavilion, marina, swimming area and camping grounds.

Great place to sit back and relax. There is a nice playground attached to the visitor center and a beautiful deck nearby from where you can watch the sunset. Campground is at walking distance and has hot showers and some great electric sites too. Though there are no trails attached to this particular site (boat ramp is the major draw here), you can always head to Mt Nebo or Mt Magazine to get your fix for hiking or biking trails. The visitor center has good educational programs for all ages.
