It is a well-maintained & clean airport. The airport has two food stalls and a handicraft store. Food prices are reasonable in comparison to other Indian airports. The washrooms are clean, too. Plug points are available for charging electronic devices. Drinking water is available. The check-in process and security checks went smoothly. The entire airport experience was excellent.

The Tulihal Airport or the Imphal Airport is also called Bir Tikendrajit International. It is the second international airport in north-east India and is also the 3rd busiest. AirAsia India, Air India, IndiGo and Alliance Air are airlines which operate here. It is 8 kms away from south Imphal and connects well with the city through various transport options.

Airport is surrounded by small hills, so nice backdrop. apart from that it's a pretty basic airport with very limited work force to manage everything, so hats off to them. Not much option for food in the departure terminal.

The arial view of Imphal is really amazing. This airport is very small but everything they sell inside the airport is pricy as other international airports. There services are smooth and neat. There is not much space inside the airport like other international airports to roam. BTI Airport is easy to reach from Imphal. Temp can drop upto 0 degree here, no night flights, no food chains. I have seen many railway stations bigger than this international airport. The view from the flight over Imphal is awesome. Those small hills make a great view from ground and air. In May 2023 there was a communal riot happening all over the state, still the airport was functioning smoothly.

A modern and well equipped airport, named after Bir Tikendrajit Singh, a hero of the Indian Rebellion of 1857, serves the needs of travelers visiting the beautiful state of Manipur and is located about 8 km from the city centre. the airport is well-connected to major Indian cities like Delhi, Kolkata, and Guwahati.

A small, beautiful and busy airport in the capital city of the state of Manipur which is now renamed as Bir Tikendrajit International Airport (formerly known as Tulihal Intentional Airport). It is second largest and third busiest airport in the North-East India. This airport is located only 7 kms away from the city centre of Imphal. Regular Flight services to Kolkata (multiple flights a day), Guwahati, Shillong, Agartala, Aizwal and other cities are available from this airport.
