Very beautiful place to visit with family and friends. There are several resorts which serve ethnic and North Indian foods in this site. Every Resort does have it's own parking place to accommodate several vehicles at a time. The road to the main site is somewhat adventurous. A narrow road passing through the rocky hill with a very sharp and upright turn. But the traffic is managed by a private organization in a very systematic way and for which they charged Rs 100/- from each vehicle. If someone doesn't have the confidence to drive through that narrow road, there are good resorts with beautiful sites before the narrow path starts.

Only the scenic beauty is lovely but the food is horrible, disgusting and pathetic. Felt like puking after having the first bite. They couldn't even provide something as simple as a good tea. Would recommend the place just to enjoy the nature but order food at your own risk.🤢

Horrible experience...didn't dare to stay looking into the hygiene issues...swarm of mosquitoes & flies hover around your head & food...had the worst chicken dry fries, pakodas n stuff which were tasteless & overcooked...the manager, who instead of taking note of the over-cooked food, turned out to be an ill-mannered & rude person who rather than apologising for it started making us realise that he just killed a big chicken for us & us only & tried to make us understand that its their unique cooking style...he even didn't hesitate to make his waiter eat 2 pcs of chicken from our plate & state that it tasted the best...we had no choice but to pay & move out as he stated that we had no option left but to pay for it & eat/leave the food...we didn't want a brawl or an unpleasant situation...kept the chicken etc on the ground for stray dogs (rejected by the stray dogs even) paid them & moved out to another restaurant for our lunch.. The place cannot be referred to any friends/family u actually care for...total waste of money... disgusting...

In the last 3 years, this is the 2nd time we had visited and today the food quality was worst. It is deteriorating day by day. The service manager who manages the food and tent was also very rude. After payment he doesn't bother to attend issues even on request. His answer was.."we have 40-45 groups of people to attend.." as if 10 groups of people is less important for them.. FYI, everyone goes to spend some quality time with their family..and its not that we pay to see your rude behaviour... The tent we were given was very near to the road with lots of dust flowing and we hv asked to exchange the tent with those on the river bank and he was like we have 300 other crowds..worst service...Guys dont waste your time and money by going to this resort..instead u can go to some other resort in Chanaka..

Okay lemme start with the beauty of this place ! It's really really nice in the middle of white sand, and small camps minimal lightining and all ! Looks very asthetic, Instagram worthy , you can go over for pictures and stuff . Now coming to the security part, that's very loosely maintained I will say ! There's not much security, and they won't allow families to stay for long at night (by night I meant 6:30/7:00 pm) cause there were some other men having beer and all so for the convenience they asked us to leave. That's very weird encounter I had . Overall about staying I can't say cause we did nat stayed there, we were there for about good 3/4 hours from 4:30 to 7 almost ! Definitely go and visit , but go during the morning time, so that you can stay over there for the whole day and enjoy. I will suggest to take small vehicles cause the road is quite narrow,two cars can't go along side each other. So yeah keep that in mind.

It's a good place with Brahmaputra river in the front and Hills at the back ! The view is really wonderful and peaceful ! Perfect for a day out ... But some services need to improve like more fans , a bit more diverse menu and some more . You can also stay there in camps and enjoy some adventure activities like hills trekking, Zip line , boating etc Overall it good ! But in Summer it's not that great coz it's hot and sunny ... It's best in winter .

A wonderful place to spend the weekend near Guwahati ashore the mighty Brahmaputra. Went on November 22, the road to this destination is under construction hence little bit dangerous. There are many other resorts nearby it. They offered Rs. 3000 for the large tents within the campus with complementary Dinner and Breakfast. And Rs. 1000/per person for tents on the sands of Brahmaputra with complementary dinner and breakfast. However the offer was only for the November month. However, there are a number of issues they must resolve including washroom hygiene. Overall a good experience.

One of the best places to spend time with family and friends in Pobitora! Indraneel and his team goes out of his way to make your stay as joyful as possible. Been there a couple of times with my Rhino Riders team and we had a blast everytime!

A 5 star experience close to the city- right from hospitality to food..all went awesome. The owner of the place is also very friendly and so are the support stuff. The tents we stayed in were good and decent- we had bonfire and enjoyed good food. Would definitely visit again.

This is a very good place for picnic and hangout purposes. However there is no good restaurants and bathroom facilities. I recommend everyone to bring their own food.

It was a blissful experience there in the camp. Food was awesome, supportive staff. Road condition in the last 2-3 kms is not that good. If someone is planing to take a vehicle which has low ground clearance, needs to b little cautious while driving. However, this is going to add some thrill in your riding/driving, especially for adventurous people. Kudos to team Chanaka eco camp.

Away from the city life. Far from the main road. Extremely beautiful area near the river. Can spend the entire day there picnicking with friends or spending some time alone with boyfriend/husband. Extremely beautiful place. However the arrangements for toilet is horrible. Make shift arrangement without proper sanitation amd hygiene. Food was also quite okay as it was pricey. Home cooked food but was not quite good. They need to make proper arrangements for good food and hygiene as people spend a whole lot of money. It was 800k per person, which is quite huge considering the facilities we got.

The place is filled with scenic beauty, a perfect place for camping. But do not expect too much of comfort if you plan to stay. Overall the people of the village are good and well mannered as expected from an Assamese village 👍🏻. The road to the camping site is a bit challenging as it needs to cross a stone hill which is a beauty in itself. But one has to be careful and wise while crossing it, as there is not much space for 2 vehicles to cross. Overall very glad to have visited this wonderful place. One must visit 👍🏻

Amazing place our stay at Chanaka Eco. Camp was an excellent break from winter. Just near the river brahmaputra. We stayed in an tent and the views were splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service at the Restaurant. The menu has a great variety of food choices and the preparation made for superior tasting. The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. There were even facilities such as jeep ride etc. The views in the night time are just perfect. Would recommend.

Alcohol was allowed & available.. but only Kingfisher strong available...so u might want to take what ever u prefer.But unlike other places a lot I meant a lot of families visited..in weekends so u can go outing with family members if you feel like..its great... Not that much activities...but the view is awesome.... Or if feel like going on short ride having some chilled bottles enjoy the view take some pics its totally worth the visit...& Ya its not just the location it's all the way where u get to see nice locations...& Coming back u can visit... Pobitora..on the way see some rhinos get some more memorable memories...

If you like camping, this is not the place to go. Very small piece of land but they will setup over 10 camps excluding swiss tents that are fixed. Also the place smells a lot as food waste is not well maintained. By a lot, I mean you will get the smell right after entering the place.

The road towards the picnic spot is narrow & high risk for basically for four wheelers, the pinic spot is location near river bank of bramhaputra of (mayong) morigaon district. Nice place to visit. Visiting time end at 1700hrs.

I wonder how this camp has 4.2ratings. Our experience was js horrible. The buffet food was very pathetic. They couldn't even add salt properly in any dish.they charged so high price per person but served snacks lik serving for 1 person. Lunch was somehow okay.they served half boiled-more water soaked rice .,there wasn't salad we requested for onions and salad but that also they didn't gave after so many requests also.,just the chicken curry Was good the menu included dessert too but they couldn't even provide that.they served rice boiled in milk powder..which they called kheer but it was no compared to kheer Nature is good there..but avoid this camp..

Visited the Camp after about 2years. Restaurant, Campus ,tents have improved for better these days. the Food menu has also become longer. Night stay in the Alpine tents on the beach must not be missed
