Open space with green area and shades. Close to the water. A lovely recreational place to taking good pics of the Franklin bridge, to enjoy some sunshine and to hangout with friends. It's free and open to the public.

One of my favorites parks in Philadelphia. The greenery (trees, bushes, etc) is great, incredible location with a lot of good seating. Note: no hammocks allowed on the trees.

Ideal location to spend an evening amidst cool breeze and eye catching river views and activities around you. All you need is to sit down/ lay down in the long benches provided and chill. The view of the overbridge is amazing and the sound arising out of sapta trains passing over will definitely attract your eyes. Beer garden just walkable. It's a treat to watch boats sailing in the Delaware river. Fishing is not allowed. It's a wonderful location to visit, after completing Franklin square, which is about 10 minutes walk. Will not regret having visited this location. Enjoy the evening.

Lovely views of the Delaware River with plenty of scenic spots to sit and chat. Just around the corner from old town and near bike lanes, seems like a fun destination of walking and running too. Have a snack or lunch, take a break from the day, step away from the hustle bustle blocks away, grab a drink after across the street.

Went on a friday afternoon. Not much to do and see but the train that passes the bridge to NJ and the water lol. I saw people walk their dogs here, some were running and some just taking in the peaceful scenery. Nice to take drama shots!😅

Nice park on a reclaimed pier on the Delaware River. Great views of the river and bridge. Popular with people hanging out and taking engagement photos. In the warmer weather months there's also yoga. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful, calm and gorgeous view. You can spend time calmly sitting here and admiring the beautiful view. Parking can be a bit of a challenge however you will find paid parking in the near vicinity. There are few restaurants around from where you can enjoy this view while dining in.

Stumbled on this very cool pier while walking around Philly. Amazing views of the Ben Franklin bridge, the Delaware River, and New Jersey. The pier has ample seating, and a nice circular path to check out the views. Grab a coffee and chill on a nice day here.

One of the best repurposings in the City of Philadelphia. On a sunny day this is a great place to relax & take in the view. The riverfront, Camden, Petty’s Island & the mighty Delaware are sights to behold.

The place looks good, the staff were nice, they have facts about Black ⚾ players, they have some nice 🖼️ collection and the sea looks beautiful too.

I think this is a singles meet up spot for Philly. Nice vibe, bushes are great to hook up in. Great sunrise views, very safe (just jump in the water if you got issues - they won't follow). Wheelchair friendly - good place if you were into downhill racing with your wheelchair. It's like the bunny slopes here.

This should be first stop when entering Pittsburgh via Delaware from the Franklin bridge. Nice place to take pictures.

Nestled between the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the shimmering waters of the Delaware River, the pier boasts panoramic vistas that showcase the city's stunning skyline and its harmonious integration with the riverfront. The pier's design is a testament to thoughtful urban planning and the transformation of industrial spaces into public havens. The careful restoration and revitalization efforts have transformed the once-abandoned pier into a beautifully landscaped park that seamlessly blends nature and recreation. The architectural elements and green spaces create a harmonious atmosphere, inviting visitors to stroll along the promenade, relax on the grassy areas, or simply bask in the serenity of the surroundings. One of the most captivating aspects of Race Street Pier is its accessibility to the public. The pier welcomes everyone, providing an inclusive and inviting space for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to come together. The park's attention to detail is evident in its well-maintained pathways, comfortable seating areas, and thoughtful amenities. The combination of lush greenery, vibrant seasonal plantings, and the soothing sound of water features creates an ambiance that rejuvenates the spirit and uplifts the soul. Race Street Pier's commitment to community engagement is commendable. The pier hosts a variety of events, festivals, and cultural activities that bring people together and celebrate the vibrant spirit of Philadelphia. From outdoor yoga classes and art exhibitions to live performances and community gatherings, the pier fosters a sense of camaraderie and connection, reinforcing its role as a social hub for locals and visitors alike.

Cool pier to see the sunset at the edge of Philly, looking over Camden, NJ. Plenty of seats to sit down and relax after a nice walk from the Philly downdown. Beautiful watefront park to walk around with pretty fall colors. Nice spot to take city picture if you walk a bit too.

Race street pier has some of the best views in the city. You get a unique view of the Ben Franklin Bridge over head while overlooking the Delaware River. Great place to relax, enjoy the views or have lunch. And it’s usually not that crowded.

When I went here before it was one of the most beautiful places to be.Overseeing the bridge and the water while being in the middle of "garden-like" scenery this is romantic, relaxing, or family oriented. I suggest coming here when you can

A fantastic location offering stunning water, bridge, and city views. The atmosphere is soothing and attracts a diverse mix of people. During the summer, you can also enjoy watching boats on the water and the occasional passing train on the bridge. Abundant benches are available for seating, and the area maintains a clean appearance with numerous trash cans for easy disposal. Everyone I encountered there was courteous and respectful. If you're seeking a lovely spot with a pleasant ambiance to unwind with loved ones, your partner, or even solo, definitely give this place a chance – you're bound to adore it.

Philly preserved this pier and turned it into a beautiful green space overlooking the Delaware river. Its just south of the Ben Franklin bridge and next to Cherry Street Pier and near the Seaport Museum. Its a great place to relax and enjoy the scene.

You can see a beautiful view of the NJ area and the Bridge during sunset. We went there on a winter evening. It was cold but the view was magnificent. You can walk or run on the pier. There are parking meters nearby. You can enjoy the scenery within about half an hour. If you are in Philadelphia worthy visiting the park.
