This was an amazing place. We had come here to do a hike but 3hrs later we were still walking around looking at all the beautiful gardens , the flowers were in full bloom and magnificent. We were speaking with one of the guides, Irv. He explained how Morris Arboretum and gardens came to be and took us for a tour of the enclosed Japanese gardens. Irv made the place come alive!. There was a small gift shop open and the bathrooms are immaculate. The place is meticulously maintained and there is plenty of parking. There is an admission fee but it is well worth it.

Beautiful! I came here with my boyfriend and we had a great time! It was a warm and sunny day so it was a perfect time to visit. The entire arboretum is beautiful and there is much to see. They do a great job with upkeep as well There are plenty of benches for rest and restrooms. This is perfect for a date or day trip and they even have family friendly activities as well.

Morris Arboretum & Gardens of the University of Pennsylvania is a beautiful area to explore near Philadelphia, PA. The grounds are quite expansive and display a variety of plants and garden styles. You could easily spend several hours venturing through the 92- acre historic area. The only downside I would say is the pricing now at $20! I think, especially since the gardens are on the university grounds, that the pricing should be much more accessible to everyone, but I guess they need to keep it selective somehow.

Came in the springtime to see all the cherry blossoms and other spring blooming flowers! Well maintained walking paths lead you through the park to explore all the different types of trees, shrubs, and flowers this place has to offer. Plenty of parking and restrooms on site. Kind of pricey to get in ($20 per person) but worth it if you get the opportunity to explore the entire place! Lots to learn and they have placards to help identify what you are looking at.

Absolutely beautiful! 1½ mile loop with beautiful scenery. A massive train course that the staff and volunteers keep running smoothly. A luscious rose garden. Currently they are building the pumpkin patch right now too. I explored for about 2 hours. It was perfect. I could have stayed longer as well but felt I had a good grasp on it

I knew I wanted to have my wedding reception at the Morris Arboretum before I was even engaged! The grounds and gardens are gorgeous. The venue was perfect for my vintage, Bridgerton garden theme. This venue offers such a unique experience, especially with the option to have your cocktail hour in the "Out on a Limb" treehouse, which we did. Our guests are still raving about how unique it was. The sunset during cocktail hour in early October along w/ our harpist we had playing created a whimsical experience in the trees. The reception tent fits about 175, but we had 115 and it was perfect. Just enough room for the dance floor, bar area, and tables without it being too crowded. The staff at the MA are super kind, helpful and responsive. They offer a golf cart for the day of to transport for photos, to explore the grounds and help elderly/handicapped folks around. There are a lot of rules since this is an arboretum and they have to protect it, but you honestly don't need much given the natural beauty. We used Wild Stems to install the dance floor and ceiling decor for the tent and Company's Coming as our caterer. The whole experience was perfect. Our guests, family, friends and most importantly ourselves all had a lovely, fun, memorable time. Everyone is still talking about it! The MA and their staff were a huge part of our wedding success!

I really like Morris Arboretum any time of the year. Of course spring is better when plants and trees are in bloom. Many great walking trails and unique spots to stop and enjoy nature.

I went for the fernery - a greenhouse full of ferns! But they also have many gardens, including one with outdoor sculpture, and a swan pond. Truly a peaceful place you could spend a whole day.

Went here on a Tuesday. Was very relaxing with beautiful views everywhere you look. My favorite spot throughout the park was most definitely the redwoods, when looking at them you almost feel transported to a different place. The only thing I would have liked was more of the little informational stands that described the different types of trees/plants. Overall a beautiful place and would definitely go again. Also I would like to add that while sitting at the benches by oak aile i was surprised to spot a deer roaming the gardens here and it was a great pleasure to watch.

Gorgeous landscape and views. The facility is very well preserved. I went here to set up for an event as a vendor and was treated very well. However, there are a lot of restrictions. It was also 95 degrees when I was setting up so it may have skewed my opinion. The rose garden is gorgeous and very well preserved.

This is a wonderfully beautiful Arboretum with numerous innovative structures, great pathways, a superb greenhouse, a miniature train structure, many babbling streams of water, and contains various animal and plant life. There is a decent amount of free parking, a gift shop, helpful and friendly staff, multiple stations to sanitize your hands, as well as restrooms throughout. There are sensible covid-19 procedures in place. Can't wait to return after the spring to see it in bloom!

I have been going here since I was a child and now I'm so happy to be able to share this beautiful gem of a place with my daughters. I love every trip. Just so beautiful and peaceful! I do recommend trying to go on a weekday, if possible, because it can get pretty crowded over the weekend.

Beautiful place!! I don't know why I have never visited before but my bf and I really enjoyed it. He even wants to get a membership! We went on a sunday and bought tickets ahead of time. Getting in was no problem and there was plenty of parking. The grounds were massive and it wasn't overly crowded at all. The arboretum is amazing and clearly a lot of care is taken to maintain it. My favorites were the redwoods, the swans, and a little butterfly area among the flowers. Would def recommend to others and we will be back.

Such an absolutely beautiful gem. There is so much to do and see; lots of hidden little surprises and secrets so slow down and take your time exploring and enjoying every nook and cranny. A perfect place to relax by yourself to find serenity, stroll and catch up with friends, and even a romantic date. Ample room to roam and magical touches like fairy villages, with lots of educational plaques scattered throughout makes this a great place to visit with little ones, too. The grounds and flora are so lovingly curated and cared for. Buy your tickets online in advance and arrive early in the morning to make entry a breeze.

Excellent arboretum with a wide variety of things to see and do. Model trains and an elevated platform in the trees to pleasant walks among gardens and open grasslands. Indoor areas have ferns and other flora. Really nice for walks with accessible parking, vending and indoor areas to shelter from the weather. Suitable for all ages and interests - recommended if you enjoy curated outdoor spaces.

Absolutely stunning. You could spend an entire day here. Lots of fun areas for kids, accessible paved paths for the elderly, and gorgeous collection of plants. Check out the outdoor model train, it's so well made and fun to walk through! The surrounding town is very cute.

As an affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania, one of the perks I get is free admission to this beautiful space. It is very well-maintained arboretum with nice paths to walk on. Lots of sculptures and gardens adorn the arboretum. There's a picnic area that my family enjoyed a peaceful lunch at during our last visit. The swans are pretty. The miniature railroad display is fun for all ages. The restrooms are very well-maintained. There are educational exhibits for young learners that are fun to walk around/through. The timed/dated tickets ensure that the space is never too crowded. All-in-all, it is a wonderful place to spend a few hours in nature.

Nice for a stroll or lawn picnicking, benches are scattered throughout for seating and certain areas are wheelchair access. The train section is amazing and wonderful, the birds nest is also a must see

A great place to spend a half a day with my toddler! Their season railway is awesome, and plenty of space to run around. It was very interesting to look for swing throughout the arboretum, we found almost all of them!

One of my favorite places on earth! I’m never disappointed in my visits to this amazing garden. There’s always so much to see, no matter the season! Great shady nooks and bright sunny statuary await you, along with tree-house boardwalks and garden railways. The Morris Arboretum truly has something to engage all age groups!

I can’t believe I’ve never check this place out before and it’s really so close to NJ. Very little traffic too. A beautiful arboretum and gardens that would really suit any age of visitor. Plenty of places to have picnics, take kids on a day trip, or just quietly sit in a bench. The grounds were immaculate, lots of pretty flowers. My fave.

My first trip to Morris Arboretum in Pennsylvania was truly impressive. The $20 admission fee was definitely worth it. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by lush greenery, beautiful flowers, and tall trees that created a serene atmosphere. The highlight of the visit was the captivating model train garden. It was incredibly detailed and a lot of fun to explore. Morris Arboretum also does a great job educating visitors about nature and conservation with informative displays. To sum it up, Morris Arboretum offers a fantastic experience for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking a peaceful escape. The $20 admission fee is well-spent for the quality of this attraction. Don't miss out on this gem!

Great place for exploring and. learning. Especially love the Out on a Limb elevated walk and displays in the tree canopies. Autumn is a great time to visit, shoot fire late Oct to mix November. Interpretive signs and i.d. tags are plentiful. Docents wander the grounds to help with their vast knowledge and stories . Our favorite stops were the willow sculpture, fernery greenhouse and the log cabin. Plan on at least two hours. Acessibilty is very good overall. Fun areas for kids.

This is near my house, and I've been coming here for about 30 years. It gets better every year. For kids, the hobby railroad is extraordinary, the treehouse is too. But the trees and the gardens are the real reason to come... If you are ever in Chestnut Hill, go there!

Beautiful outdoor place. This is a nice escape from the city noise and air pollution to pure air and get one with nature. Enjoyed every bit of this place. Miniature train is the highlight. Good to hang out with friends too.

First time here for the Summer of swings and absolutely loved it! What a cool place to take the kids and walk around and explore. Bring a cooler with some snacks and have a mini picnic. Moms can do a lot of “sittervising” here with comfort knowing the kids are playing in a safe, enclosed space. We stopped by the cafe to grab a bite to eat. The food was decent. We will return!

Perfect timing on blooms. Enjoyed a lovely meander about the gardens. Turned a short hike into a 3 hour stroll. Shout out to Irv. He was very informative and his passion for his volunteer work was infectious.

Cool sunny day for a wedding. Turned a lot cooler after sunset. Nice venue for this wedding, champagne first, ceremony next, treehouse for appetizers and the warm tent for reception. Could only have asked for warmer weather, everything else was perfect.

Beautiful grounds with colorful foliage, sculptures throughout, and plentiful walking paths + benches! I visited in the later summer and imagine it would be spectacular to visit in each season to see the changes in the landscape and the plantings.
