Outstanding meal as two families on way back from Bolton Abbey. Food was absolutely delicious, service was excellent and when the bill arrived we found it to be really good value. Our waitress, Holly, was particularly great. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! My daughter and I were visiting from the US, so needed a convenient place to stay for a week while visiting family. The entire staff here were absolutely brilliant!!! They were so accommodating, friendly, warm, attentive, and even more importantly, they went out of their way to make my daughter feel so welcome and special. The atmosphere feels so cozy, and the food at both breakfast and dinner was fabulous. The experience was so awesome, 5 stars is not enough - I will definitely be back to stay on my next UK visit!

Very smart place inside and out. Our welcome, service and main courses were excellent. Desserts though were terrible value for money. £7.25 for 3 mouth full's is terrible value. I don't know why some expensive places feel the need to rip off customers with tiny helpings and huge prices. We visited an excellent carvery the following day where we always share a £5.00 dessert, it's so large. We go there often whereas we will not be back to the Heifer.

Lovely place. The rooms are comfortable, cosy, clean, and the bathrooms are good too. The restaurant is even better. Tasty food, good sized portions, excellent value. But the best of the lot are the staff. A real 'can do' attitude, wanting to really help you, rather than just go through the motions. Can't recommend them enough.

Lovely pub, food was amazing. Not much atmosphere but the staff were friendly enough. If you're having food check what you pay especially if you're paying by card. I just tapped and didn't realize they charged full price when the menu clearly stated 20% off.

Excellent little restaurant, polite hosts, attentive staff. Food is delicious and worth every penny. Have been here many times and still get treat like I'm one of the locals.

Last minute dive in after being let down at previous place. Still the best by far. The food is fabulous . The service from the staff is second to none. Total well done to all from the Craven Heifer Inn who run this . You deserve a Michelin Star in my opinion.

Had lunch here in May. Menu choice is good. We ordered cajun chicken burger and gammon. Both were delicious and good value for money. Service was great even though was fairly busy. Will definitely visit again.

The staff here are first class. Friendly and respectful. We were a large wedding party. We were kept together as much as possible. Breakfast was awesome loved the salmon and scrambled eggs. Evening meal was very good value for money. Steak pie massive. Blade of beef tender and tasty. Not a single bad course.

Wonderful service. Beautiful restaurant and rooms. Seafood fettuccine was the best I’ve tasted (lots of seafood). Great a la carte breakfast selection. Would highly recommend.

One of the best Sunday dinners I've had for a while! The staff are really attentive and professional, couldn't really fault anything except for the weather!

We were a party of 6 and had an amazing overnight stay. The bedrooms, food and service were spot on couldn’t fault anything! A very well run establishment, professional, hardworking, friendly staff. Will definitely return.

Enjoyable early evening meal great service ,lovely Sunday Roast dinner melt in the mouth slow cooked beef good sized portions. Definitely recommend.
