I must say Sunshine Primary Care/Lutz branch is a refreshing addition to the medical community. Yasmin was friendly and efficient getting me checked in. Jen made me feel relaxed as she took my vitals and it seemed like I was talking to a friend as she asked my medical history. I can't praise her enough for her expertise in drawing blood, a not so pleasant experience other places for me. Thanks Jen! Dr Kashlan has such a nice way about him as well as being knowledgeable and professional. I'm pleased to have found such an awesome Primary care doctor and staff.

I’m appalled at the lack of customer service and ethics That are being practiced at this office. I am a new patient I have never had an appointment I am on a state Medicaid because I’m unable to work due to a serious accident that I was in recently. It’s like me over a month to get an appointment in the first place. I called to cancel the appointment due to a funeral that I had last-minute notice of for my grandmother. I rescheduled my appointment and when it came time for my appointment that I rescheduled they left me a message telling me that they were going to be charging me a $25 late fee for canceling the first appointment even though it was for a funeral I explained to her that I was on Medicaid and it wasn’t working and didn’t have the $25 to pay for the cancellation fee and that I explain to the people when I canceled that it was for a funeral. The lady that I spoke with on the phone was so rude she wouldn’t even give me her name she wouldn’t give me the office managers name she just told me that she didn’t care she would just cancel my appointment if I can pay the $25 fee and that they will be in stating another $25 fee so total of $50 and I’ve never even been seen at the office and I just lost my grandmother and I am still injured from the accident. So I really needed this appointment . The medical system is such a joke. And this office is heartless and just practice is bad business all together. I don’t know if the doctor at this location is aware of what’s going on but he really needs to get a handle on the customer service given to the people at the front or people calling in because refusing to give somebody your name or the office managers name and telling you that the office manager is unavailable and that the doctor is aware of what’s going on if he is I’m more than happy to find a different location . But it’s sad that now I have to wait another month to get my insurance established with another doctor and then probably wait another month for an appointment just to get an appointment it just goes to show you how it really is for people that I have Medicaid. It’s very sad

Dr Kashlan is great. Front office girl is really nice and does her job well and most of the medical assistants are friendly. The nurse practitioner is friendly and upbeat. Overall they seem to really care. I would definitely recommend this office. They have helped me to have a better quality life.

My boyfriend went there to get established as a new patient, the Dr sent him to get some lab work done, my bf previously had a heart attack, they review his labwork and the office never called him that his blood sugar and triglycerides were high, now my bf has been admitted to ICU trying to get his blood sugar levels down, my bf never knew he was a diabetic... thank god he is going to be fine

I have been seeing Dr Kashlan for about 5 years now and have to say he is by far the best Dr. I have seen in the Florida area or any other state for that matter. He is very understanding since I commute from St Petersburg to Lutz and will help me with my prescriptions so I don't have to make that long trip each and every month. He doesn't rush you in and out and listens to your needs as well as make suggestions or offer alternative medications. The staff has always treated me with respect and since I have been a patient for so long we usually have plenty to catch up on when I am in the office. They make sure to check your current meds and make notes for Dr. Kashlan if any issues need to be addressed. I would highly recommend Dr Kashlan if you are new to the area or just looking to switch to a Dr that has your best interest at heart. It says something about his practice that I will drive 45 to 50 minutes each way just to see him. The entire staff is pleasant and very helpful!

I dont usually ever write reviews, im a very understanding person. But i do have to say that this is probably one of the worst providers ive ever seen. He is definitely one to solve problems with medications rather then trying to actually help patients. He was extremely disrespectful in our last appointment. Im 23 with very rare disease - which im very aware he is only a primary. However there were so many things he missed that could have stopped me from getting this bad, he did not offer any options, nor did he even try to point me in the right direction, instead he had put me on anxiety and depression medications and told me that i just have to accpet that this is my life and that i probably wont ever not be in pain. In the apt when i tried speaking to him while crying begging for help, he excused me, told me to stop talking and spoke to my mom infront of me and acted like i wasnt even there. I know more medically now then this physician does. I highly dont recommend unless youre just trying to get meds.

Love the staff there all the girls are fantastic, friendly and super helpful ! Dr Kashlan is absolutely amazing and compassionate. He’s been my pcp for almost 3 years and wouldn’t change a thing! Office is always clean , never over crowded even in the main waiting room. Completely and totally recommend!!!

I've been to so many doctors to meet my medical needs and most have been busy; doctor's trying to fleece you, over prescribe medications that I do not need, or any number of reasons they didn't work. He is the best primary care doctor I have ever met and he also is quite adept and willing to deal with my mental health needs with what it takes but also with a moderate hand. I couldn't more highly recommend a doctor especially if you can only afford one. He he can meet all of your needs. Five stars no question
