It was a wonderful experience you can see the whole of London from every angle worth a visit. The history lessons about the London Eye and views from the top are amazing. It is another iconic symbol of London and England. You should definitely visit.

The London Eye is one of London's most sought-after attractions. I queued for approximately 30 minutes and it took approximately half an hour to get around. I recommend buying tickets and booking the tour time in advance online. Employees check the ticket and ask early visitors to leave the line and return only when they give their time. The Ferris wheel cabins don't even stop completely for visitors to enter, but they move very slowly, you almost don't even feel them moving. 25 people can fit inside each capsule, which is air-conditioned. There is a bench in the middle, but as the ride is short, I recommend standing, moving around the cabin to see the view from all angles. It was so much fun!!!

Fantastic staff and attraction. Very convenient location and easy access. This is a very busy area, but it is well signed and easy to navigate. There are many services on site and you can enjoy the surroundings before and after the ride. The ride itself is fantastic and offers wonderful views of London - especially if you are a picture taker. The pricing is reasonable and you can also bundle with other attractions. We did find this a bit confusing, until we were helped by a friendly staff member. You do have to watch times as they gave us a tight connection to the next attraction - no worries though as there was a wait time there. Well worth the time and cost

We had bought our ticket for 11:45am. We arrived on time, it took about 35 minutes until it was our turn. The whole trip also takes about 30 minutes. We had sunny weather and therefore an excellent view.

Impressive, one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world has become an integral part of the London skyline. The wheel has a height of 135 meters, with 32 glass, air-conditioned capsules completing a full rotation in 30 minutes. The moderate speed allows for the continuous boarding and disembarking of passengers without stopping the wheel. During the 30-minute ride in a glass capsule, you can admire the extensive panorama of the city. Although the price of this attraction might cause a bit of a shock, I believe it's worth experiencing at least once, as the views are truly unique. A fantastic vantage point. Amazing experience.

The London Eye is the Most amazing experience. It is accessible within walking distance of the Tube stations and the view is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I have had the privilege of doing this outing on the London Eye a few times and each time is more amazing than the next. Don't miss out on a few hours to enjoy. The tickets are available on line and make sure to book the fast track pass. Much quicker and easier than the queue.

Built as part of the year 2000 millennium celebrations, the London Eye seems to have captured the imagination of visitors to London. It is now one the most popular attractions of all. Essentially the proposition is a very simple one. Ride a giant big wheel 135 metres high taking 30 minutes to travel one revolution. The London Eye is situated right at the tourist heart of London, (opposite Big Ben by the River Thames) with commanding views, (25 miles on a good day). The attraction was originally sponsored by British Airways, so rides are called flights. The Eye is besides the River Thames on the opposite bank to Big Ben. Nowadays the sponsor is Lastminute.com. You ride in a luxurious capsule in comfort; each capsule is fully air-conditioned to keep its visitors completely comfortable no matter what the temperature outside. Each capsule also rotates on a special device designed to keep everyone upright as the wheel makes a slow but progressive revolution. The London Eye is by Westminster Bridge on the other side of the river to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. The booking office is in the adjacent County Hall building, at one time home of London's governing body. County Hall also houses two hotels and two other attractions - The London Aquarium and London Dungeon.

When I went on the London Eye, I felt the excitement of exploring the unique views of the city from above. This impressive Ferris wheel, situated along the banks of the River Thames, allowed me to witness the majestic silhouette of London in all its details. Especially at night, the illuminated cityscape fascinated me, providing an unforgettable experience.

Amazing views of London especially the views from the top! Completely enjoyed the flight. An iconic attraction that can be enjoyed anytime of year, day or night, any season and in any weather. The capsule was very clean and additional hygiene and safety measures were in place which made me feel safe and I could enjoy the attraction thoroughly. Very friendly and helpful staff too.

Despite the poor weather the London eye is well worth doing. I recommend getting there as early as you can to beat the queues but bring a brolly just in case. The commentary was good and informative. Be prepared to be sold souvenir photographs which are lovely but I would say a little over priced. The experience is good for children but I would say they maybe a little older to fully appreciate the experience. Each pod is easily accessible.

A must do/see! London eye was such a cool experience! Book in advance and choose the flex pass for a few more pounds. We rode the London Eye at night and the view was amazing! I’m sure you can see more during the daytime , but the lit up London view was pretty magical! Heads up - you’re probably going to want to buy everything at the London Eye gift shop. But if you walk just across the way to the other gift shop (literally, right across) you will save some money and have more souvenir options.

It was a very pleasurable experience. It looks huge just before you get on Imagine being in a plane and being able to see everywhere clearly ? That's how it was! Such great views from high up. We got on a queue to get on it but it was a fast moving queue, we were on the queue for a little over 10 minutes and then we were on the London Eye! It was great fun for the Jubilee weekend. The kids loved it! I loved it! I would highly recommend it!!!

This is a must-see attraction in London, absolutely stunning! Although we bought tickets, we waited in the line for about 20 minutes, but it was worth it. The ride takes around 25 minutes and you get in and out while the wheel is moving slowly. The view from the cabin is fantastic and you can take great photos. The cabin itself is spacious enough and with a bench in the middle, so you can have a seat if you're afraid of heights. This is one of the best ways to see London from above, don't miss it!

Just look at these photos; it's worth the money you pay to ride the wheel. It's breathtaking. My advice is to buy the ticket in advance and opt for fast pass. We were there last Christmas, and it took us less than 5 minutes to get on. It costs a bit more, but it's worth every euro you spend. It's essential to go on it if you're in London.

My son and I went on the London Eye and timed it to get a view over London at sunset. The view was stunning with lots of gorgeous colours and scenery. The tickets were bought in advance online, and the time we went, there was not much of a queue, so we got on quite quickly. The rotation of the wheel is very slow and smooth. One complete revolution is supposed to take approximately 30 minutes. Ours took longer as there was a slight technical problem, but it was fixed in due course with no issue. We just got a longer time admiring the views. There are occasional information announcements about the visible buildings and the history surrounding them. This was our second time going on the Eye, and it is still very beautiful to see London from that viewpoint.

Visited this iconic landmark early in the morning and I was pleasantly surprised to see it relatively empty compared to the usual bustle. The surrounding area had a serene, almost meditative ambience with people jogging around and starting their day actively. This early bird experience of the ever-busy attraction provided a uniquely peaceful perspective.

An attraction in London that you can hardly avoid...if you don't have a head for heights. We had already booked tickets in advance (120£ 2 children, 2 adults) and so just needed to be there for our booked time slot. We then waited in line for about 15 minutes. So waiting time is completely ok. The view was great, there were plenty of opportunities to look or sit in the gondola and enjoy the whole thing. After about 30 minutes the journey was over. It was definitely fun but £120 isn't much

One of the best experiences you can have in London! On a surprise trip I booked Madame Tussaud’s and the London and eye and they did not disappoint. Ended up just me and my partner and another 2 women. It was amazing. The sights were great wish we were at the top a couple seconds longer and that the picture at the end didn’t have such a bright flash as the picture didn’t turn out great. But took some great pictures ourselves and loved every second definitely one for the memory book even if you only do it once

Just another marvellous piece of London. I would recommend the tour if you are around and it truly does offer some magnificent views all over. This structure offers stellar views from the nearby bridges and it’s certainly one of my favourites in London. The staff were friendly and we had a nice time on the wheels. This sure is an iconic landmark of the city and does live up to the expectations

Iconic attraction in the heart of London. Don’t listen if anyone tells you not to take a ride in this beauty! Its totally worth it. The views are mesmerizing, staff is super friendly and polite, prices are quite reasonable and the capsules are very clean. You can also purchase different packages, we got London cruise and London eye together. Loved both experiences

Huge experience! Not to be missed! Beautiful view of almost the entire city. A great technical solution is to rotate the cabins and ensure that the cabins are always horizontal during rotation. Every minute is an experience!

My third and best flight since this attraction opened. Now is a great time to go with restricted numbers in the Pods. Only myself and two others in our Pod so loads of room to move about. I chose a morning with fine weather and the views were great, you can see all of Central London and beyond to Canary Wharf and the Shard. No doubt will go for another spin later next year.

Warm wishes readers! Visiting or being in England and not hitting up London eye is like eating fish without chip 😂 Well, this became my favorite not just because of the atmosphere around but also, I was amazed to see people of all ages getting excited for the tour of the earth and sky packed in a compartment, which allows 30 people at once. The top view from London eye is the breathtaking, nonetheless I or any of the people boarding didn't experience claustrophobia, rather it was a moment to cherish the engineer and the workers who build Big Ben and other monuments below. P.S. - When I visit the London Eye, the Big Ben was under construction, so couldn't update you all with it's feature. ❤

Came to London for my birthday and the London eye was an extra surprise.. It did not disappoint. We paid the extra for the Champagne VIP and it was amazing. We were taken to a waiting room to wait for the flight. Our guide took us down to the eye and we were fast tracked through the queue. The views from the eye are breathtaking and if you love London as much as I do you will love this experience.... 💕💕

Good experience at any time of the day / evening. The ride last long enough to look around and take good photos. Best at off peak when fewer visitors are let into the capsule. Displey of New Year Eve fireworks provides a different viewing experience of London Eye, this year from the comfort of living room on TV.

Brilliant experience for a couple with 2 children under the age of 2. Push chair and a baby sling is best depending on age of kids. Great views of London Skyline including Big Ben , The Shard and much more. You can bring your own snacks as there is a large bench in the middle of each pod. Amazing views of trains pulling into watleroo station as you gain altitude in your pod. Great view of boats traversing the river. Make sure to look out of your pod for pictures once your inside. You may then purchase these pictures taken from a camera outside of your pod.. Pictures taken on the walkway to you pod which you can purchase. Great 30 minute to the peak of altitude and then a decend. Very friendly staff who are implementing social distancing and Covid precautions. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

It was quite a wonderful experience, I must say. The view you get from the ride is magical and enchanting. I was mesmerized by just how much of London I was able to see. The entire wheel and it's surroundings are very picturesque and it is very beautifully designed. However, after about 40% of the ride, you tend to get tired of it, but it still seems to lag on, but you've already seen everything. Additionally, it's pretty expensive, and even photos taken there cost £25 each - a bit too expensive in my opinion

The lines are long to enter the London Eye. We waited 40 minutes in total. It wasn't too bad of a wait. They have fast track tickets as well, and it looked like that wait was about 20 minutes. Once you get into the capsule, the ride is supposed to be 30 minutes. However, there was some issue and instead the ride was 38 minutes. While there is enough space in the capsule for the number of families they cram in, there are (effectively) only two family spots for the photo they take at the end of the ride. Unless your family photobombs another family. As for the views, they are nice. The Elizabeth Tower (with Big Ben inside) is probably the most photographed spot. You see a great distance in all directions, but as a tourist, you cannot recognize the landmarks as easily. Overall, it was a good experience. Worth the wait in the queue.

Positives: it is a nice experience, the venue where it is located is very lively with many performers, foods and gifts. The view of there river from high above is amazing, you can usually get this attraction bundled with few others around the same area Negatives: long waiting line, short experience, if you really want to see the city from elevated point of view, i would recommend “Sky Garden” as more interesting option. Time: queue can extend up to 1.5 hours, the ride itself is around 30 minutes Children: suitable for children

The eye was a very cool experience. Was awesome to see the iconic view of London from over the top. I would recommend the fast track tickets to avoid a very long wait to get on. Make sure you a lot enough time to be in the as well since it takes awhile before you’ll be able to get off. I would say it’s worth the time for the views.

Wonderful experience. Waiting time was around 30 mins for us but it was expected as we had booked a 5 pm slot. Once you get into the cabin.. the 360 degree view is spectacular. The cabin is spacious and has seating for those who are afraid of heights. The ride lasts for around 20 minutes so there is plenty of time to take photos of the London skyline. The tickets were quite expensive, but the whole experience was worth it. Overall, the London Eye is a safe and fun experience worth visiting. Would recommended! 👌

Not exactly cheap, but the bottom line is that you should have done it. As a combination ticket with e.g. Madame Tussauds is also okay in terms of price. The view is magnificent.

It's something to say, "Let's do this while we're at it." Otherwise it doesn't matter much. If the sky is clear, you can capture a very beautiful view, but it does not mean much since the weather is generally rainy and overcast. It is more convenient to buy tickets online.

A must see location in London near a park and some shops and a McDonald's. Very easy to get to by bus. There are bathroom facilities nearby that are spot cleaned and safe. There is also a children's play area on the grass area.

At 135 meters/ 443 ft tall this is the most famous ferry wheel in the world as it was the largest after opening in the year 2000. Almost 3 million visit this annually and you can get a beautiful view of the city beyond Thames from here. On weekends the queue can be huge, so make your plans in advance.

There are a lot of awesome things to do in London which includes visiting the London Eye.The London Eye is one of the most iconic structures easily identified within the vibrant capital city of the United Kingdom. As the most paid-for attraction, it draws almost 4 million visitors annually. It offers an unobstructed, 360 degrees bird’s eye view of the city laid out below and as far as the eyes can see. Seeing London at a glance is definitely one of the things you should do at least once during your visit.

Really enjoyed our evening flight on the Eye. Queue moved quickly, no more than 10 minutes which is great with 3 young kids. Plenty of room to move around the pod, and a bench to take the weight off. Great views all round. Staff were helpful and cheery too. Yes it's quite expensive, look out for 2-for-1 offers; a number of train companies offer them (we used GWR).

The workers here are really observant and made my experience amazing~ I was feeling pretty sad that day and was on the verge of tears. Before getting on the ride, the front person noticed me and pulled me to the side to ask what was wrong. They asked if I was scared of heights or if I needed anything. Even though we had a standard ticket, they put us on a ride where no other parties joined us! I was deeply moved and that honestly made my whole day better :') Thank you for being attentive to your guests <3 it's very much appreciated

Amazing. The views from the top are really amazing. Can’t say that you can see the whole city but I would say whatever we see is fabulous. I personally think the views are much better at night, you see lights all around, even the day time is not bad either. It’s just person to person. I personally loved it at both times, while on other hand the staff is really friendly. More hygiene can be maintained, but it’s understandable because of amount of people visiting.

This was a fun place to visit! A bit hectic before going in as groups of schools seem to flock there but otherwise how fun! The wheel goes slow enough for you to take in all the sights and enjoy all the views!. The cabins are spacious enough for many people and are weather controlled. With a visit and a feast for the eyes . Do book your tickets online!

The London Eye offers an unforgettable experience that truly captures the essence of the city. From the moment you step into one of its iconic capsules, you're treated to breathtaking panoramic views of London's skyline. During my visit, I was mesmerized by the stunning sights unfolding before me, from historic landmarks to modern marvels. The slow rotation of the wheel allows ample time to soak in the beauty of the city from every angle. Definitely an attraction worth visiting. Staff are friendly and welcoming. You do have to wear a mask, but not many people in a pod, so quite easy to social distance. Takes around 30 minutes to go round. The views are just amazing and you can see so much of all the famous landmarks. Good for the houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St Paul's and the Shard.

London Eye itself is one of the biggest names in the world and does not need any description or Writing. But if I need to say something, I would say you have to get into London eye once if you have been to UK. From London Eye you will have a wide and whole view of the City of London and also River Thames. It gives you the view from different heights as it slowly moves upward a d then reaches the top and then again comes downward. In between you can click and capture the City in your camera from several heights and several angles. One of the best attractions not only in London, or in UK but in the World. This was my second visit to London Eye. Must visit if you are in UK

Got tickets for 12 months and they expired during the Covid lockdown period, spoke to the team and manager, to my regret they did nothing but say a fake empty apology, happy to take my money but slow to make any resolution even when I constantly made alternative suggestions. Will not be getting another ticket nor will I recommend it to anyone (to go on what is pretty much an expensive, oversized ferris wheel) and will most certainly not be using Last Minute.com again, thanks for taking my money, you will not be seeing it again. PS: If you are planning on going on the London Eye in either 2020 or 2021 be ready for them to deny you if another lockdown is the reason it goes out of date!!!

At 135 meters/ 443 ft tall this is the most famous ferry wheel in the world as it was the largest after opening in the year 2000. Almost 3 million visit this annually and you can get a beautiful view of the city beyond Thames from here. On weekends the queue can be huge, so make your plans in advance My favourite Part about London is the London eye love visiting here often

Wow... Wow... The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel, is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel,[14] and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually.[15] It has made many appearances in popular culture. The structure is 135 metres (443 ft) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres (394 ft). When it opened to the public in 2000 it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel. Its height was surpassed by the 160 metres (525 ft) Star of Nanchang in 2006, the 165 metres (541 ft) Singapore Flyer in 2008, and the 167 metres (548 ft) High Roller (Las Vegas) in 2014. Supported by an A-frame on one side only, unlike the taller Nanchang and Singapore wheels, the Eye is described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel".[16] The London Eye used to offer the highest public viewing point in London[17] until it was superseded by the 245-metre-high (804 ft)[18] observation deck on the 72nd floor of The Shard, which opened to the public on 1 February 2013.[19] The London Eye adjoins the western end of Jubilee Gardens (previously the site of the former Dome of Discovery), on the South Bank of the River Thames between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge beside County Hall, in the London Borough of Lambeth. The nearest tube station is Westminster 420 metres (1,378 ft) away.[20] In March 2020 the London Eye celebrated its 20th birthday by turning several of its pods into experiences themed around London, in partnership with its sponsor lastminute.com. The special experiences included a pub in a capsule, a west end theatre pod and a garden party with flower arrangements to represent the eight London Royal parks.

The London Eye is always worth a visit - especially if you’ve never been before. Suitable for all ages. You get spectacular 360 views, in a spacious pod which takes approx. 45 minutes to go round. I would recommend booking in advance, and arriving a little earlier than your pre-booked time since 99% of the time there is long queues. Reasonable price, especially when you get a package deal. Security is vast, and your bags will be searched and scanned on your way through. Very good, and professional staff throughout.

It looks beautiful. Due to numbers of high rising building, we will not seen London from top as much you have expected. Westminster, big Ben look awesome from top. It will save more if you buy tickets advanced as it cost 30 pounds each on same day ticket but you will multiple discount offers in online or national rail coupon.

Firstly, I’d really recommend that you buy tickets to this place it’s view is amazing and has lots to offer. —PRICE—The price is an important thing to talk about as it cost all the 7 of us that went o the ride £205. Which is a crazy lot of money but after all is was really worth it. —ENTERTAINMENT— The entertainment was big, of course you have the wonderful view to see all around you but not only that, you also have a speaker that tell you facts and information about the London eye and it’s surroundings. Finally there is also a camera which takes a photo of everyone inside. (You can buy them at the gift shop as you come out) —WAS IT WORTH IT— It’s absolutely worth it, even though it was really expensive you can get a lot out of it like I explained. However on a public holiday the queues will be massive and may take you 1hour-30minutes. But pushing everything to one side and thinking about the bright side, you will have a very memorable experience. :)

Definitely purchase tickets online in advance . We had tickets for 1300, and was able to walk up , ,waited maybe 10 min . The capsules are large enough to hold approx 20 people , I didn't count but it was approximate. Has a bench inside capsule to sit and view is from all around moves slowly enough to walk around . Pictures will be taken as you get on and then while reaching a point of rotation your picture will be taken if you desire . Great views . Very organized with getting on and off .

Long but fast queue. Stunning views. There is enough time spent on the top, so you can enjoy the city around you. I would appreciate if the crew doesn't try to over-fill the pod with so many people. We were group of seven and they pushed us into a capsule already full of people and we were like 40 there.

Very close to Westminster (big Ben) and Waterloo Train station.

A fabulous experience enjoyed by all from 6 years to 46 years and in between 🥰 some how we seemed fast tracked because we bought tickets in advance or because I had carer concessions I'm unsure. The views were absolutely stunning we chose to leave it until later in the day to enjoy Londons sunset and it didn't disappoint 🥰 I believe the experience was around 30 minutes long any more would have been too much but it was the perfect amount of time for taking in the views and grabbing some beautiful pictures. We have said we will definitely do it again.

Lovely experience though on the expensive side. There’s generally a long queue and we had to wait about 25 mins to get in. Entire experience is about 30 mins. There were about 15-20 people within one capsule. Best experienced on a bright clear sky day so you can see many London landmarks from up above with a 360 degree view. Buy tickets in advance to get discounts.

It was not our first time at the London Eye. The views on a sunny day are gorgeous and the ride is comfortable. I believe the price is quite high but it is one of the top attractions in the city so they take advantage of it. We went with my baby trolley and since it is foldable, there was no problem. If you have the chance, I definitely recommend it!

Under current COVID guidelines they have done really well. It was rather busy when we were scheduled to get on, however they tried they best to reduce the waiting time and we got on 10minutes after our booked time. London Eye is a must experience while you visit the United Kingdom. Before entering they offer also a three D movie for free about the experience in the London Eye. What's not to like about a giant ferris wheel next to a river? Hop on and enjoy a breathtaking view of the city of London. Take in the sights of the Big Ben, parliament, The Shard, and the Thames river, of course as you go on a 30 minute revolution of the wheel. Perfect for dates, family fun, and even for the solo traveller.

Well worthy tourist attraction. Panoramic view of watching city of London at a glance. 30 minute ride on the wheel is real worth of scenery if the weather is good & the sky is clear & blue. It’s advisable to book in advance online. It’s cheaper if you book it combined with another attraction. Tickets can be downloaded directly to the phone so no need of printing paper tickets. Due to the pandemic advance time slots should be booked whilst booking the tickets online. Social distancing is maintained through out the visit & face masks are compulsory to be worn through out the visit. Very clean & hygiene standards are maintained all cars are sanitised after every journey

A nice experience with some decent views over London, with an easy booking experience online with tickets downloadable and compatible with Apple Wallet. You get a decent amount of time too unlike some other similar attractions in other cities. The main criticisms are that the queues can be quite long and the price paid really isn’t worth it. a LONDON EYE, akkoriban még nem tudtam angolul, mikor ott jártunk, illetve három szót/szavat azért ki tudtam nyögni: yes, no, meg a coca-cola.

Complete waste of my money. This is so overrated and the lines are terrible. I tried to go there when it was supposed to be less crowded. You get shoved around by the tourists. The iconic London Eye is a mammoth Ferris wheel which was the largest Ferris wheel when it was opened back in the year 2000. Situated on the south bank of the river Thames, the London Eye is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the UK. You can see it from the windows of the airplane before landing on Heathrow. The London Eye itself and its surrounding area are always buzzing with people, street performers, and a number of restaurants giving you a wide variety of food options. The London Eye adjoins the western end of Jubilee Gardens (previously the site of the former Dome of Discovery), on the South Bank of the River Thames between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge beside County Hall, in the London Borough of Lambeth. The nearest tube station is Westminister which is at the walking distance of 0.42 km. The structure is 135 metres (443 ft) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres (394 ft). (Translated by Google) The famous and spectacular giant Ferris wheel is a tourist attraction, which has earned its place among London icons in its own right. Because of its impressive dimensions, it is visible from afar, and when you go up to one of its spacious cabins, the views are magnificent. Next to Westminster Bridge, it is one step away from Big Ben, and if you are passionate about viewpoints, you will not be able to resist. It is advisable to get the ticket in advance, so you can avoid a long queue. In my opinion it is expensive for approx. 45 min. that lasts the complete turn.

a nice moment to rest your legs and take in the view, large bubbles in which you climb without the wheel stopping like in a moving train (very slowly of course), very sacred with a central bench, access ispossible for all people with reduced mobility or strollers, it is best to take package tickets with other attractions such as the aquarium, shrek or madame thussaud so you will pay less than taking each ticket individually! the district on this side of the thames is full of tourist activity and allows you to take a boat bus to tower bridge and tower of london. Nice ride for young and old just next to the wheel. It was nice to be able to rest for 30min and admire the city of London from above. However, I find the access very expensive. We had taken a skip-the-line ticket because our schedule was tight, and we got home very quickly! beware of the “tourist trap” photos where they don't even ask your opinion to take a photo and then you have to pay for it. at the end of our Baltic Sea cruise, we chose to stay in London for two days a few days before returning to Canada. by traversing the city by the routes of the "Big Bus" of the "Monte-Descend" type and by cruising on the Thames, we were able to admire once again this gigantic wheel. since its advent to mark the new millennium, the London Eye has become one of the British capital's most popular attractions. My wife went up there and she loved it. seeing the city and its surroundings in this way is spectacular and memorable. It goes without saying that the position of this giant wheel in central London and along the river makes the experience out of the ordinary

I regret the quality of the photos because I had a galaxy s3 with really poor resolution .. attraction that must absolutely be visited if you go to London .. it all lasted 30 40 minutes if I am not mistaken .. excluding the queue to enter it .. when you are at the top it seems to fly, obviously there is also the possibility to sit comfortably and enjoy the breathtaking view. We visited the London Eye like an year ago. We had a London Pass - 5 attractions in 1, and London Eye was one of those attractions. We visited in April, and it was great as it wasn't very busy. In summer time the queue is just extensive (1 hour wait), but we waited no longer than 15 min. We were around 15 people in the cabin. It took 30 min to get to the top and the view was indeed amazing! It was the late afternoon on a gloomy, rainy day, and yet it was great. I would absolutely recommend it.

Enjoy amazing 360-degree views over London from the London Eye, a rotating observation wheel which is 135 metres (443 ft) high. Spot some of the capital's most iconic landmarks, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. Within each capsule, interactive guides allow you to explore the capital's iconic landmarks in several languages.

It's ok to visit but they could do a little better compared to the fact how renowned it is. Best is to buy a combined ticket that has The London Eye as main attraction and you can add 2 more to it at very acceptable (compared to how much you would pay separately). Queues can be long in the summer. By night the area is nicely lit.

London's Ferris wheel, called as the London Eye, is a must come in this beautiful city. The city is already beautiful to walk through, but even more beautiful when you have a complete overview of the city. We arrived around 30 minutes before our ticket appointment. Not a very long queue, it took maximum 15 minutes to get in. Inside there is air conditioning working at full power, we felt safe with all Covid-19 measure taken. All trip is around 30 minutes and you can stay on the bench or stand up.

Great trip on the London Eye and if you're ever there on a clear day it's a must. We didn't book in advance but it's worth doing if you're doing other attractions around London. The queue wasn't long and was smooth flowing. The staff were friendly when asked a few questions and security seemed to be well manned. We had some great views and the kids (9 & 4) enjoyed the ride

It's a great view of London. The queues were pretty well managed although you do have to show your ticket at least 3 times. The photos are expensive, £25!! But you don't have to have one taken. It's worth the trip for sure, even better with Merlin pass as it's free

  • 5/5 Kwex N. 2 years ago on Google
Had a great time at London Eye and the River Cruise. Friendly staff and well organised process. There was a bit of queue, but it went through relatively quickly (circa 20 minutes). Our tour guide on the River Cruise (Liam) was amazing. Made the 45 mins ride on the boat worthwhile. Stayed in the top compartment and was blessed to see so much history the city has to offer. Will definitely recommend a visit when in the area. One tip for London Eye which was fairly obvious - if a group photo is desirable, everyone should face the same camera during the photo session towards the end of your journey. There are two cameras in the cabin, we didn't all look in the same direction and ended paying for an extra photo!

  • 5/5 Ebenezer A. 2 years ago on Google
It's a nice place to visit. You have a chance of seeing the best view from the cabin/capsule. Security is top notch and cleaning of cabin after each trip is superb. You can either book your tickets ahead or get tickets on site.

Such a great experience, we went during the week and there weren't a que and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The sights when you are in there are so breathtaking and I would recommend for anyone as it's a great experience. We went on the river cruise after and that also gives you a didn't outlook of London. Would definitely do it again, don't think I would ever get bored of seeing that view.

  • 5/5 Fayetina W. 2 years ago on Google
Located in a spot that has a little bit of everything for everyone; this attraction offered multiple ways to secure a ticket, the staff were very kind, and the line was nice & quick. The cost is a bit much, but I'd overall say it was worth it. The carts were clean, cool, and roomy. You spend quite a few minutes on the ride, so if you're scared of heights and using this to tackle your fear, I'd recommend not doing so.

  • 5/5 Sirinapha J. 2 years ago on Google

Took about a million photos! The queue was fast moving, which is great, coz when you see it first, it would put you off going up. I got a booklet thing at the end with our group photo in it, it would have been nice to have this at the start as it pointed out Buckingham Palace and Downing Street etc, I was just randomly taking photos not knowing what I was looking at. Lovely views at sunset. 5000 marriage proposals on the London Eye apparently, there was a couple in our carriage and I was half hoping we would be witness to the 5001st! Sadly no. Next time 🤞😉

Good views across the city, options for your own private cabin, and a champagne version for special occasions. All participants get the option of a group photo prior to travelling, and can view them after the trip, with an option to purchase if you like them. Cabins are clean and well maintained. Worth looking out for the photo zones, they are highlighted by a camera and photo zone wording, and are accessed on the final five minutes of the trip.

  • 5/5 Damian S. 2 years ago on Google
It is said that it has the most spectacular view around London. Due to lack of time we didn't manage to take a ride with it, but even just exploring it and seeing it from the bottom was very exciting and impressive. If you do want to pay a visit book online a ticket before you go because it gets too overcrowded and the lines are something else and you will have to wait a lot to get up.

  • 3/5 Ariana T. 2 years ago on Google
No wait time when we went at 1:45 pm on a Thursday, but Saturday afternoon had a massive line. Only 8 people in our cabin. Tickets were expensive: 32£ per adult and a 5 year old ticket was only 5£ less. Ride was long, you get a great view of the city, but it's very slow. You get on, and then it rotates once, and you get off. Pictures are not included in the price. I would say this is not an essential attraction for the first. If you want a great (and unobstructed) city view, the top of the Shard is included in the London Pass.

"London Eye" don't know how many times I watched this in movies or documentaries. Today for the first time I visited this tourist attraction. Well I initially thought to go for it the daytime. It has made many appearances in popular culture. #copied

Amazing views! Make sure the weather forecast is clear before booking so you get the best view. If it is misty/foggy it’s a bit of a waste of money. Some of we’re worried they would scared because of the height, but that did not seem to be a problem. The pod felt very solid and you can’t feel it moving.

  • 3/5 BB B. 2 years ago on Google
Nice view! But could be cheaper, too expansive! And they could put less people in each cabin! I went on Wednesday, and even though there were no queues, they put me, my mother and 8 more people in the same cabin! on a calm day, without queue, with the coronavirus pandemic, why put so many people in the same cabin?

  • 4/5 Etienne N. 2 years ago on Google
A really nice experience in London but maybe slightly overpriced. The views truly are incredible but you do share the pod with others so if you have a large group you might have to be bold and ask other people to move so you can get some good photos. We really enjoyed the visit and the staff were very friendly.

Went on a morning ride and it was quite amazing! I wish that there is a more commentating on what to see or to point at places while we are on the ride but it was quite cool to see everywhere. Some moments it stopped and it was moving very slowly which caused a little discomfort so letting people know that this could happen could be great as well. It wasn’t a very busy day so having less people per pod could be nicer as well. Some people were jumping in the pod that made me feel uneasy so having these rules before could be good as well.

It's larger than expected, what wonderful views you get when your inside one of the pods and your at the top! Brings a great atmosphere. Their are other things to do around the area within walking distance too.

The ride is smooth and the cabin is large. Be sure to stay in the river side to catch the better view. Although the views are good you can catch better views from some of the skyscrapers. Even with ticket in advance you will still have to wait in line for almost an hour. The ride lasts for almost 30 minutes.

Definitely worth it to pre purchase tickets. If you really want to zip in and out, splurge on the fast entry, but the standard ticket line moves fairly quickly.

I'm scared of heights but had no problem with this. The views are absolutely amazing across virtually the whole of London. Pre-booked tickets so no faffing. Join the queue and on within minutes. Roughly 20 people in a bubble, Americans love it and don't stop talking while some non English speaking visitors with rather large families tend to occupy all the viewing area and most of your photo's. All in though an amazing experience and will definitely be doing it again.

The experience itself was great having wanting to go on the eye for ages. Unfortunately it was cloudy but it didn't spoil the view! You can see Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament predominantly as your right there but the further up you go the more you see! We didn't have to queue long, staff were brilliant and on a whole a pleasure. It is a shame however that they're not doing night flights at the moment. Since Covid I presume but hopefully this won't be forever, so be sure to expect another review when it does!

The view from the top was incredible.. Just to keep in mind - they don't stop the wheel completely every time. If you have elderly people with you, be sure to tell the team to stop the wheel so that people can go on without any trouble.. I feel they should proactively do this when they see elderly folks waiting to board..

Recommend fast track. It's an awesome experience. The number of tourist per car is limited so the Covid risk is reduced.

I personally consider this place to be the best views of London. The price is high (as everything in London) but it’s a great thing to do when the sun is shining and you’re either visiting or have visits. We bought the tickets online 5 minutes before the start time and we had no problem at all. Queue was fast as well.

Beautiful wheel over the river in central London. I haven’t been on the wheel but really enjoyed taking photos. - Walking distance to Trafalgar square - Nice vibe everyday. Cafes, restaurants around

A ‘must do’ and has been London’s one of the best experiences since years. Stepping up into the capsule and enjoying the most mesmerising view. Really enjoyed it and it’s always better to buy tickets online instead of waiting in the queue. You can view the Parliament House, Big Ben, river Thames and some skyscrapers 🏙 Good looking city view in various angles and views. Definitely recommend this place.

We had such a wonderful time! The staff was very friendly and professional. The area was very clean and tidy which made for even a better experience. The views from the attraction are breathtaking! What a wonderful 30 minutes to spend with family and friends and you get to see some of the most magnificent views that you'll find in London.

London Eye is one of those things you need to experience once in your life. Not only because it is an iconic place in London (and the world), but also because the views are really stunning. Tall enough to have a panoramic view of the city but not high enough to lose detail, like the Shard. Go with family, friends, partner. Whatever. Just go! You wont regret it. 30 minutes of pure joy.

Another expensive tourist magnet. The ride was fun though and I did like the views along the river. We could see places we were planning to visit if in the distance as well. My only issue was too many people and kids out of control. I did have a good laugh from a number of crazy attempts at selfies that ended in falling down or losing a tablet (not using a phone?). Nice!

What a wonderful experience. We purchased the fast track tickets. They are a little more expensive but certainly worth the money, as they alliwed us to be relatively spontaneous and also stood on the shorter queue. Also, they enter a small amount of people in the cabin for fast track holders. As for the ride itself, it is spectacular. You have about 20-25 minutes to complete the full circle, during which you can see this beautiful city from above. It was a bright sunny day which allowed a clear view for quite a distance. There are opportunities for touristic photo shoots but tgey are not mandatory. Highly recommended stop while visiting the city.

Fabulous. Worth the money. Big Ben and Westminster looked stunning from the location. Staff very efficient. Pods not crowded as in not trying to push too many people in at one time. Great experience.

I visited London eye again after 16 years.. The wheel is visible from many parts of city, creating very interesting and picturesque combination of old and modern, the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge, London Eye.. Night lights are wonderful. From London Eye itself, there are amazing views of London.. Those who like engineering, they could see how it holds together and work.. I admired maintenance sufficiency, that it was running smoothly, without squeaking.. Even after 16 years. It's a pity there are not night rides available. I would appreciate also small windows in the bubbles where we could get photos without plexiglass. Ride is pretty expensive for family with children.. As a small rewards it would be great if you allocate the bubble for the family only.. Not to be mixed with 8 unknown people.. We were there on Thursday 15.9.22 when there were no queues.. There was no need to group us with so many other people.

Quick and easy check in, no need to pay a Quick pass. You had a choice to buy the two photos taken. The views were amazing and plenty of space in the pod to look at every angle of the ride. We all loved the experience and the wonderful views around London. Great deal using National Rail 2 for 1 tickets.

Great tourist attraction. I'm pleased that pods are not overloaded with people. You have space to move about and take in the different 360-degree views of the capital. We've been lucky on the occasions we've ridden the eye and gad sunny and clear days. I think nighttime would also be an amazing experience. The mechanism is slow and smooth. You hardly feel the motion as this rotates, and the inside was clean and smelt fresh. It is surprising how high you feel when you reach the top, so if you struggle with heights, there's seating in the centre of the pod if needed. This attraction is permanently busy, and rightly so. A great attraction to visit and experience in London.

Love the experience. I suggest to buy the tickets in advance. We didn’t wait a minute and they were very courteous to have us get into the fast lane since we had our son with us on stroller. The view is breathtaking, spectacular, and worth the visit at least once in lifetime. We done to whoever operating this iconic ride.

An amazing activity to do with the family! What a wonderful experience and seeing the faces of the kids when we wee at the top! No wait I time to get in. Quick security check and you were aboard the flight on the eye! Amazing views and even with a bit of drizzle it was so clear to see all across London! Slight down side was we had to fold the pushchair instead of letting the baby sleep but it took up as much space up than it did down.. Staff were all polite and helpful for boarding and exiting. Will defo do it again at other times of year and day!

Super cool and lovely experience. Got to see so much of London from this height! Highly recommend you get tickets online prior just to make it easier and sometimes the price will be cheaper 😉 . The line was long but moved fast. Expensive but worth every penny!!!

It is definitely worth it. The view is fantastic. You hardly notice that the wheel is moving. Queuing and getting in was very straightforward. The staff was really nice. There are enough seats in the cabin and also enough space to walk around and take photos from all sides. There were 8 of us and we booked the tickets in advance.
