A bit like time travelling. The place has got esprit <3! They have a great selection of tab beers which we tried 4 out of - all tasty! And the food was pretty stunning as well. A group of four of us spent a fantastic evening here this weekend. The bar staff kindly got us a table even though we didn’t have a reservation and could not have been more hospitable. They really know their beers here and gave us great suggestions as we wanted to try lambic, Geuze and the best of the Trappist quads. Great snacks (cheese, sausage, bitteballen, fries) too, all went superbly with the beers. I would be very happy if this was my local bar!

We came in as a large group close to closing and they tried to accommodate us which was nice, the food was very good quality, the portions looked normal but they were so packed with good stuff that we were all very full very quickly. We were a bit apprehensive about the price of the beer but it was kept well, it tasted nice and fresh and they have a big variety which was nice. I will say the place is definitely smaller in person, very quaint and it was packed, if you're coming as a big group I'd come earlier than you think and be prepared to sit apart, we had to sit in two groups but that was okay with us. Just so you know last calls are at 11:30pm as well, so it's advertised as closing at 12 but they don't serve drinks after 11:30. I feel like we were quite a pain of a group so I wanted to say thank you for accommodating us :)

I wish I had more time in the city just to have returned there, so I think I gonna need to put Antwerpen again in the route.
