    I recently visited the vision center for the first time to have my vision checked. The staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient, and they quickly got me started with the necessary paperwork. The initial screening to check my vision went smoothly, and the examiner who conducted the tests was professional and thorough. I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the process. After the screening, I had the opportunity to meet with the doctor, who was extremely kind and knowledgeable. They patiently answered all of my questions and provided me with valuable insights regarding my eye health. I left the doctor's office feeling confident in their expertise and the care provided. However, my experience took a negative turn when I encountered the general manager, Lillian. I had a question regarding my frame for my new glasses and approached her for assistance. Unfortunately, Lillian seemed disinterested right from the start. She rudely interrupted me before I could fully explain my query, making it difficult for me to articulate my concerns. Despite my attempts to clarify and provide more details, Lillian continued to dismiss my questions without giving them proper consideration. I felt unheard and disrespected during our interaction. It was disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior, especially after receiving such exceptional care from the staff and doctor. As a result of this unfortunate encounter, I have made the decision not to return to this establishment in the future. It is disappointing that a single individual's poor attitude and lack of customer service skills can overshadow an otherwise positive experience. I will be sharing my feedback with friends and family to ensure they are aware of my experience at this vision center.

    Scam warning!! Got a text 20 minutes before my appointment saying my appointment was cancelled. Called to ask what the hell was going on, and was told that the do tor was unavailable. When I asked why I was just told “they’re unavailable.” After pointing out that this was unacceptable, I was rescheduled. Waited an hour and a half to see the doctor only to be told she wouldn’t actually give me a copy of my contact prescription until I came back for a second appointment. I have been wearing contacts for two years and never had this happen. Also, it violates federal law. Walked out of the appointment. Never, ever coming back here. Complete scam!

    The eye exam process was great! Jose was a joy to work with as well!! Didn’t love the two week wait for my glasses but in all fairness they communicated the wait time upfront.

    This place has gone down hill seriously (mostly new staff). Ms. Cora is very nice and always have been but the customer service is horrible! When calling to see if your lenses had come back (as they were not in stock and I do not live in the area), the young lady kept acting as if I was a bother to her. She was snappy and unprofessional. When they finally arrived to /pick up my lenses, (Ordered 10/6/23 delivered to the store on 10/18/23). She put the lenses in the bag and handed them to me (as if to hurry me away). In the past and at other places, they invite you to have a seat to be sure that the glasses and/or contacts fit you comfortable. So I asked if it was okay for me to put on the lenses in the back at the desk. The other thing is after my exam, We had to wait until our name was called to check out. By the time I finished my exam, there were a few people ahead of me that had not been called yet. Needless to say, I had to wait my turn - ugh! The staff, particularly the young lady at the front desk, was rude with apparently no customer service training, I realize that some people act their wage, but IF you take the time to teach your staff great customer service, you are more likely to have repeat customers. One unimaginable experience (like this), can cause a loyal customer who has bee coming for years to find someplace that knows how to value it's customers because at the end of the day, there is plenty of competition and people have the option of taking their hard earned money or insurance someplace where they are appreciated. I was truly disappointed.

    We had and exceptional experience at this location, the stuff was so friendly and helpful, the manager and associate Baba are the best! Baba was so kind and so patience when help me to adjust my glasses! Great customer service!!

    The staff I've talked with on the phone are very friendly, which is appreciated, but I've otherwise had a bad experience with this location in Takoma. There are endless appointment confirmation texts and calls (often numerous communications on the same day and even after texting STOP). They've now cancelled on me twice on the day-of, which is both frustrating because I need contacts and because I've had to rearrange my work schedule to accommodate the appointments, which I made well in advance. I'm a first time customer and have been trying to get a basic annual eye exam and contact fitting for over a month now through America's Best and it doesn't seem possible through this office. I would not recommend using them and am going try using the office in Rockville in the hopes they can keep an appointment.

    I went from the Laurel location to this location to see a eye doctor. The front staff was polite and attentive. The service is " poor" we must wait too long!!! The other doctor was done and I ask him to see me and he said no! Wow!!😡, I'm very upset!
