Went for happy hour July 7. Their Lo Mein is very tasty. Not greasy, flavorful, and portion sizes are plentiful.

One of my favorite places to eat delicious Chinese food. They have the best crispy beef. They also have really good Lo mein and Kung Pao beef but for some reason their Kung Pao chicken was off this time around. But this will not deter me from coming back. Love this place!!

I wish i wasn’t able to give this restaurant a 1 star. When I first walk in and was lead to a table and I noticed that fabric was torn on multiple seats through the dining area. I took a mental note. Water was brought to our table in dirty glasses, in which we had our server replace immediately. Our California rolls were placed on plates that were covered in smudges. The food did not look or taste fresh at all. It seems like the last few experiences, the quality of food had gone down each time. This was definitely my last time frequenting this particular Graces. I guess I have to resort to going to the location at National Harbor.

Everything was delicious...The staff was great...atmosphere is nice....they have several bars which is good if crowded...they also have a private dining room for special occasions which was great! Our food was hot and made to order...drinks were made perfect!

I was here last week, and me and a friend arrived at 7:45PM. They made it very clear we needed to leave around 8:30PM—the place closed at 9PM. They turned off lights and the music as me and a guest were STILL sitting at our table at 8:30. Then, to top it all off, they added an 18% gratuity to our check (which I don’t mind paying for good service). The service and food was sub par, and they were rude for how they pushed us out 30 mins before closing—not worth 18%. It is a shame to have Japanese and Chinese places in black communities yet they treat us so bad. This is yet another example of why I do not patronize, and I WILL NOT BE BACK. They also have not updated the inside since it opened 10+ years ago.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the private room is nice with the door closed. Staff is attentive; the food is decent but you'll get more flavor from Panda express and Noodles & Company. The menu is way is way over priced, especially for serving imitation seafood.

The service was subpar- waitress was very inattentive. We ordered General Tao’s chicken & took 2 bites, the egg rolls were large but overcooked if that’s possible. The vegetable lo mein was completely over cooked. The shrimp fried rice mushy. This isn’t the Grace’s I frequently visited years ago that I loved.

I tried the fried Rock fish, served with broccoli and a choice of white or brown rice. Fish was seasoned well and tasty.

Went to Grace’s on Boxing Day for sushi with a friend. We were advised to sit wherever we liked and opted for a booth. Every single booth had busted seats with fabric that seemed to be peeling off. So although the booth cushions were supposed to be a burgundy color, the actual seat had various black splotches from missing fabric. The fact that they don’t even bother to reupholster the seats speaks volumes. This is wear I should have turned around and walked out the door, but against my better judgement I sat down. The waitress was pleasant and swiftly brought water/menus to the table. I noticed that my glass was dirty so I let her know and she changed it out for me. Strike # 2. If the glasses are dirty what else going uncleaned. Both my friend and I ordered California and crab rolls which didn’t take much time to prepare. When the food was placed on the table I smelled a strange vinegar-like smell and was immediately turned off. This is not a common smell for any sushi rolls I’ve ever had in life. I also noticed the color of the avocado was very dull and turning brown. At this point I’m convinced they’re just serving old food. I left the food behind and will never return again.

I sat at the bar waiting for a colleague yesterday. The bar tender was preoccupied on her phone. I ordered a Bud light draft. After drinking my beer I asked for my check. To my surprise the beer was $7.00 and the bar tender had the audacity to include a tip on my check without my permission. A tip is something that has to be earned and should not be assumed by this establishment. $8.99 for a bud light draft. I had a meeting with a colleague shortly thereafter and ordered food. Food always good here. After our lunch I received my check and to my surprise an 18% tip was included on my bill with out my permission. How is this a standard business practice??? Needless to say I'll never return to this restaurant again. Customer should be given the option to tip. It should not be assumed. I have no problem tipping good service.

Went to Grace's in Bowie. It's a nice restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is very good, and the atmosphere is very nice. I went there for takeout. I sat at the bar while I waited for my food. They had the game on. They have hibachi's there also. The ambiance is nice, not like the Grace's at the national harbor, but it's still nice

Lights are so dim that it messes with my eyes and heads pace. Food was just Ok but expensive. Kinda like an overpriced carry out. I've had better from my local Chinese restaurant actually.

The service was great, a new hire started today and he was very attentive on his first day! The food could have been better. I had a party of 7, 2 chicken teriyaki entrees, Hawaii chicken, chicken lo mein, kid’s hibachi chicken, fries, wings, and spring rolls and I must say the food was mediocre. I will never go back it was not worth $166 and then a $28 tip🤦🏽‍♀️ the cost doesn’t match the taste of food. Side note…the salad was disgusting 🤢 Their house dressing tasted like peanut butter base🤮 I definitely wouldn’t recommend this spot, spend your money somewhere else😬

Had the Chilean Sea Bass w/miso mustard, mixed vegetables, and brown rice. It was delicious! The service was ok. I dined on the barside, and it was busy, I had to flag down a waiter to take my order, but once he did, my food came fast. The music was nice too, however, this is not a really big place.

Went for lunch so the kids could enjoy hibachi but the front desk misunderstood so we didn't get to enjoy that aspect of lunch. Our server was so busy on her phone that we had to keep getting her attention to bring us items. I will be looking for another place to go. They didn't care about how they serve ppl because the tip was included with our party.

At first the Waitress was rushing Us to order. We needed to ask questions concerning various menu selections in order to make the best choice for our food order. I spoke up and asked the Waitress to please be calm as We were making our decisions based on her answers. She replied that she had go and get salad for the other table. It just seemed that she was on a timetable and was trying Us to make a quick decision. I asked her to slow down and to please be patient. I mentioned that We were here to celebrate our friend's Birthday and have a good time and hopefully she would be patient with Us going forward. It took awhile but the Waitress did finally relax a little and served Us in a better calmness as We All were used to being served.

No complaints. Food was delicious. Seafood plate was wonderful. The side of brown rice was a bit dry but good. Service was good and attentive.

We were visiting from out of town and decided to try Grace’s. Food was tasty. But that’s where it ends. The restaurant is dated and drab looking/feeling. On a Saturday evening, it was nearly empty. That’s a red flag. It is overpriced. But what was egregious was the 18% gratuity SURPRISE added to the bill. The 18% itself wasn’t the issue..because we normally add 20% ..for a good experience. . It was the fact that it appeared out of nowhere...and applied to your bill whether or not you got good service. When we pointed this out, the staff said there is a note about this on the menu. But the menu’s font is TINY, and we didn’t see this. I had to actually use my phone’s magnifier to read the menu. This is the only restaurant I’ve seen that charges an 18% tip for a party of two. It is insulting!!! When we raised the issue with a staff member, she was RUDE! Her reaction was….”they’re acting as if I’m taking their money”….and…”the owner makes the rules”. It is obvious this restaurant does not value its customers. Go elsewhere for good service and respect.

We have very few dining options in our area. Grace's used to be a reliable option. However, as soon as we walked in i was reminded of why i stopped going to Grace's. The place was beyond loud. Folks were at the bar literally screaming at each other. I'm all for folks having fun but a number of the guests had no respect for others that were dining. We placed a drink order and then placed our food order to go because we could not hear or talk over the noise. The place has really gone done from the time it was opened. It needs a face-lift, a good cleaning and maybe new managment that is not afraid to ask out of control guests to tone it down.

Ok about sums it up. We thought this was the Grace’s Garden new location since a Sakura chain restaurant took over the original Grace’s Garden location. It is not the same restaurant in a new location. For what you get at this restaurant , the Hibachi option is definitely overpriced. For $90 (+ tip) we had 2 hibachi meals (1 steak, 1 shrimp) with the fried rice (contained a small amount of frozen peas & carrots) grilled veg (mostly onion & red peppers, some zucchini even less mushroom) small bowl of onion broth soup and small iceberg lettuce “salad”, 1 happy hour priced cocktail ($2 off),1 soda $ 1 shared dessert (dry crumbly cheesecake). No real seasoning that we could taste on any of the entree, despite seeing the “chef” sprinkle S&P on the food while cooking. Very workmanlike hibachi experience - after he ascertained we had no allergies then the “chef” got to work, no flourishes or verbal interaction with us other than the allergy question and asking about beef doneness. Most boring hibachi experience we’ve ever had. That and overpriced food makes it unlikely we’ll return.

Great food! They automatically add 18% gratuity. We sat inside, which not too many people chose to do.

I've ordered combination fried rice ($25.95) for 3 months in a row. 1st month was excellent, 2nd and 3rd month it was below par. Rice taste old and very few vegetables. Overall, would not eat there again.

This is not the place to go if you want to have an intimate dinner with your significant other. It was extremely and unnecessarily loud. It could also use some updates in the interior. The food was decent, but not good enough for me to endure that atmosphere again. The folks that ate outside on the patio seemed to have a quieter more intimate time. If eating outside is your thing it might not be too bad.

I visited Grace's for a ggf's birthday and we had such a good time. The restaurant is always clean and staff are friendly. It was not crowded either. We were in the private dining room on the side opposite of the Tepanyaki area that can be held with a deposit of $100 as they do not take reservations. I always order one of the Penang Curry dishes with the fried rice, which never disappoints. The other ladies ordered a variety of dishes from soup to sushi and Tepanyaki. The cocktails were fruity and strong as well, so that's always a plus. 😊 The free dessert they gave to my girlfriend for her bday was even good. It was a red velvet cake with a raspberry sauce, and I am not much of a sweets eater. I definitely recommend this Grace's location at Vista Garden's.

I had no idea this restaurant existed until I visited for a surprise dinner, even though I pass the area so many times. The restaurant is very nice and they offer hibachi style dining. The staff are very friendly and kind. They helped us organize the suprise dinner with no issues. The cooks were fun and great with children, and the food was very good and fresh. They offer a nice variety of dishes and combination plates even if the hibachi experience is not your preference. The only down side is the cost. It is quite expensive for one plate at dinner time, so expect to pay at least $30 per person, but they do include the tip in the bill which was helpful! Overall, I plan to come back!
