Such beautifully maintained gardens. Some great statues and just a lovely place to walk around!

It is a very nice place to rest. very nice park. Actually, it would be. I have bad luck and saw hordes of Danish teenagers behave like barbarians. It is just a shame - top EU salary, top state happiness, disgusting uncivilized behavior, trash everywhere. I was shocked. It is just stupid and a great pity. Big shame for the Danish people and Denmark.

As one of the only activities open before 10 AM, this beautiful park is filled with multiple gardens, a small park, and pathways lined by hedgerow linden trees that must be spectacular in the fall. It is nice that there is a restroom on the east side of the park and a statue dedicated to Hans Christian Andersen near that

What a lovely park. So many people just enjoying the weather and the beauty of it. Had just got off an airplane and came straight here. So to be able to walk the park for over an hour and enjoy the country and the culture was just fantastic. Just go enjoy the scenery and have a coffee.

Relaxing English styled park by the castle. Big grass areas, so you can definitely have a picnic there or just sit down with a book. Also quite a lot of benches. Free entry.

Very nice park area next to the Castle. There is plenty of space for picnics, nice benches, beautiful flower garden and fish in the water around the castle. Beautiful place for a walk or seat with friends.

A beautiful, peaceful large park in the center of the city. We came here to spend a quiet morning and ended up seeing the royal guard march while playing their instruments. We could not enter the castle but the walk in the park was good enough.

Lovely, well-kept gardens with an historic palace at the heart. A beautiful rose garden which is designed by the former King's gardener. Well-used by locals for relaxing, having some drinks or playing games.

An oasis in the middle of beautiful Copenhagen! The King's Garden is a beautiful park all around the year, since it's well taken care of, thus plenty of people visit daily. It is located in central Copenhagen, it is also right next to Rosenborg Castle. It has a couple information points that take you through the history and the functions of the royal gardens. I recommend visiting it in fall because the trees are changing colors and it’s a beautiful autumn scene around this time. The entire neighborhood around the gardens is also quite nice and a nice add on are the small coffee spots at the entrance, where you can grab a cup before or after strolling though the park.

Very nice place to stay and rest. Nice atmosphere and possibility to have a meal in the bar therein. Very relaxing despite the presence of tourists and locals. Plants and flowers are nicely arranged in the gardens. A must in Copenhagen. The sight of the Castle gives that magic and noble touch.

This park is very beautiful especially with the view of Rosenberg castle. They take care well for all trees, grasses, the walking path and so on. It must be even more beautiful during spring or summer. You can just sit and enjoy the sun while watching the tourists enjoy their time, the couples are dating, the kids at the playgrounds until all animals living their lives.

A truly excellent urban garden park. Full of people of all ages enjoying the weather and making the entire area feel lively and pleasant. Plus the view of Rosenborg Slot can't be beat

Having arrived in January, we had only seen the King's Garden in half of its glory, in the last days of winter. But the wife and I knew that this is a place to return to in the height of summer. So we packed a picnic and spent a whole day at the garden last weekend, and what a delightful place it is. Half of Copenhagen turned out here, cozying up to the Sun, laughing with friends, playing games, walking their dogs, or just lying down with a book in hand. It's the perfect place to be when you have nowhere else to be.

The King's Garden is awesome!! Let the kids play at the Playground at King's Garden among the cool handcrafted wooden dragons as you take in the awesome gardens, fountains, and changing of the guard. Very cool place!

The King's Garden, nestled in the heart of Copenhagen, is a picturesque and historic oasis that beautifully combines lush greenery with cultural richness. Boasting well-maintained lawns, vibrant flower beds, and charming pathways, the garden provides a tranquil escape in the midst of the city. The Rosenborg Castle, an architectural gem, adds to the garden's allure. Whether for a leisurely stroll, a family picnic, or simply to appreciate the blooming beauty, The King's Garden stands as a delightful destination for locals and visitors alike. Its central location and harmonious blend of nature and history make it an essential part of the Copenhagen experience.

This is a beautiful and very accessible garden in the city. It is where the guards start marching from at 11:30 as they head towards Amalienborg for the changing of the guard. There are toilets, cafes, benches, bins, flower gardens, statues etc. A great garden to explore!

Magnificent botanical garden/park adorned with elegant statues. Right by the Rosenburg castle. Great place to take a stroll & relax. There are plenty of benches & trees for shade. Definitely worth a visit. Special park indeed.

There is only one way to get into the palace, it's located close to the big street across the palm house 🏡 also the entrance to the garden is just next to it, next to yellow building or you can go from the other side too! Sometimes there's march by the servants at 1-3pm around this place.

A wonderfully created oasis around castle Rosenborg, where you can stroll around for free. Aside the hustle and bustle of Denmark's capital you can find an area for relaxation within these green walls. Also, a monument of Denmark's famous son H.C. Andersen can be found here. If you are looking for an afternoon tea, you can buy one in the Hercules pavilion with nice tables under the trees.

Really awesome park in the center of Copenhagen with large herbaceous border, a rose garden and a plenty of different-sized sculptures. Next to Rosenborg castle. Worth visiting especially during the summer.

Great public garden behind Rosenborg. My favorite part of it is the rose garden. It has many types of flowers inside of a secluded area. It is well designed with ‘stars’ in the center of each portion and clear sections for each. The park is also a great place to sit and admire the castle. Also a great waiting place before Rosenborg if you’re waiting for your time slot. As it is just across from the Botanical Garden, you will have plenty to do in this neighborhood.

This is a beautiful park, probably better to go when the flowers are blooming. However, it is well taken care of and a lot of people visit it. It is located in central Copenhagen, right next to Rosenborg Castle. There’s a couple of information points where you can read about the history of he place

Unfortunately, I visited this place in the late Autumn, though it still looks very impressive!

  • 5/5 Courtney P. 2 years ago on Google
It really feels like a royal park but in an intimate size. The trees line the pathways, botanical beds border one side, open areas await the carpet of crocus in purple and blue that pop up in Spring, and summer brings the picnics and sun lovers. Overlooking it all are the pretty turrets of Rosenborg castle, soldiers at the door safeguarding the crown jewels resting inside.

  • 5/5 Toby 2 years ago on Google
Great spot for a walk and a coffee. The castle in the gardens is definitely worth a visit as you can see the crown jewels.

  • 5/5 Renay K. 2 years ago on Google
