Denmark 🇩🇰 Copenhagen - attractions Beautiful park & recreation area along the water. Scenic spaces geared towards walkers and cyclists but we managed to find parking just past the tourist bus area. This area is great even if the weather is less than fair. We plan to come back when it warms up again and spend more time along waterfront at this park.

Pier with the world famous Little Mermaid statue but also do check out the relatively less known Genetically Modified Mermaid art sculpture that is not far from Little Mermaid. This art project is more interesting as it is referring to characters from the Bible and humanity's progression towards genetic technology

Superb historic square, seat of royalty and I was there as the soldiers were changing the guard. The evening sun was setting making the experience quite ethereal and moving. Wonderful Copenhagen indeed.

A park that lies along the coast. In this park there is a little mermaid and a range of cherry blossom. There are many people there.

A park near the wonderful harbor where you can see every shade of green. they even have their own kiosk at the entrance of the park when the Queen and her family will get on their boats. By the way, there is a beautiful bridge, Gefion Statue, St Albans Church and Mill.

The Langelinie Pier has the famous Little Mermaid sculpture from the fairy tale of same name by Hans Christian Anderson. The bronze statue placed on a rock captures a Mermaid enraptured by human world. The pier has lovely views, cafes , restaurants, coffee places. It also has a restrooms . Benches along the pier makes one linger

One of the iconic places to go in Copenhagen that is on every visitors list. I should point out before you visit that there is a clue in the name; it’s called The LITTLE Mermaid!!! So don’t be surprised as nearly all visitors are, at how small it is. There are some very tame Jackdaws that live near here and who will willingly accept a piece of your sandwich. Just mind your fingers…. You’ve been warned!

This is a delightful park, but expect a lot of tourists if you want to take pictures with the little mermaid statue. There is a charming tiny harbor with beautiful ships to take pictures of.

This old barracks with the militaire feeling was a great experience. A lot of beautiful colours and sights to see. The building and places were not busy. So we had enough space and time to see all the structures.

We randomly entered the park. The park was too cool and we can see localities and many trouisrt there. We couldn't finish complete walk in the park. Nice view and I loved the shape of park. Good memories. Then from there we went to the little mermaid. It's very close to the park

12/24/2022 It's nothing huge but you get 15 minutes to get out and walk around a bit for the hop on/off bus. It was a nice little area to hang for a few minutes and take some photos.

You cannot miss the visit. Otherwise you haven't been to Copenhagen. Clearly expectations are high speeds even if you've read the dimensions thousands of times in art history books, you expect an imposing work to appear in front of you. It's not like that. You look at the vastness of the sea and the fragility of a body that finds expression precisely in its contrasts. Too many people, all too close. Around it winds a magnificent park to go to the center of the city.

Copenhagen's iconic place. A must visit but do not be disappointed that the mermaid is small.. it is elegant and shines above the sea.

  • 5/5 N M. 9 months ago on Google
It was packed with so many people want to take picture with the little mermaid statue, the little mermaid is very little also. But when in Copenhagen, you will want to see it so you can say, “I’ve seen the Little Mermaid in Copenhagen” to people, as it is very famous.

Nice park to go have some ice cream and just enjoy the breeze and the little mermaid!

Famous mermaid sits close to the park, on a well maintained and beautiful park. Good location to relax in sunshine and take pictures to add to your vacation album.

Beautiful in its simplicity. unfortunately, the crowd around her spoils the impression

  • 3/5 Christos H. 2 years ago on Google
Joke! The statue is smaller than a man s size, nothing special at all. The city has, definitely, way better sights. I give three stars because of the location and the nice atmosphere the tourists create around!

Large public park that sits close to the Little Mermaid pier and provides sunny and shady spots to walk or sit and rest. If you stay on the walking trail you eventually end up walking the path around the park that looks like a 5 star design. Impressive views from the trail in addition to a beautiful wind mill on the site. The Langelinie Park stretches from Esplanaden in the south to Langelinie Marina and the base of the Langelinie Pier in the north. Formally, it includes Kastellet although this site is generally referred to under its own name. The park contains numerous monuments, buildings, a marina, statues and a playground. Among these are the Gefion Fountain, the Ivar Huitfeldt Column and The Little Mermaid. Worth a visit if staying in the city for a short visit.

Beautiful area where you will find the famous Little Mermaid 🧜‍♀️

  • 3/5 Feisty M. 2 years ago on Google
A nice place to leisurely walk near the Kastellet. The biggest attraction is The Little Mermaid. Other than that and the waterfront, there is little else to see.

If you are in Copenhagen then it's probably worth a visit ,the walk from the city centre out to the mermaid is as worthwhile as the destination .

Nice view on the harbor of of Copenhagen. You can see planes starting from the water. There are some Snacks and Drinks you can buy. Quite good. If you visit the little Mermaid take this extra steps and visit.

Beautiful place to visit by yourself, with family or friends. Great for photos as there are so many things to capture. Will visit again as I didn't finish my walk around. Must visit if you are in Copenhagen.

My boyfriend visited us here in Denmark and most of his colleagues and friend in ARAMCO, Saudi Arabia where he work as contract advisor wants him to visit the little mermaid which is located at Langelinie. It is a place where tourist normally come and see the cute little mermaid that sitting on top of that stone. She’s a famous story written by H.C Andersens. You Can have a Walk by the sea 🌊, take a train to Østerport and Walk through the sea.

Good park, take a stroll and there's beautiful sakura trees around March-April if you have the chance to visit Copenhagen, you can go here. There's also a connection of water bus from here to the Refshaløen street food market

The Mermaid is not so big but I liked it, and the location with sea and garden around is beautiful and relaxing.

A wonderful and of course famous place, everyone knows the Little Mermaid, so nice to see her live. There are more nice sights near the monument, Copenhagen is beautiful, but the Little Mermaid is a must-see, nearby is also a little abstract mermaid (The Genetically Modified Little Mermaid by Bjørn Nørgaard).

Wonderful little statue from Hans Christian Andersen´s fairytale. Honestly, the walk out here is even more beautiful.

Small harbour , close to the little mermaid , clean installations, you will get a private sms with the code to access to the facilities. You need to have payment card for electricity, and you can to buy it in the office because the office was closed already in October.

Enjoyed the walk although do be aware that you are sharing the path with cyclists…one tried to pass us on the wrong side and we had given him plenty of space to the left…fortunately no harm to anyone. We visited late afternoon and the place was busy but not packed. And of course a photo of the “Little Mermaid” is a must when visiting Copenaghen, Denmark. We enjoyed watching all the water activities from rowing, boats to seaplanes. The path is easy to walk and wheelchair/mobility challenged friendly.

Nice spot! The most iconic statue of Copenhagen. We came when it was not busy, so we could take some nice photos. 10 minutes later it was extremely crowded, so good luck taking a nice picture then 😉

To be honest, I was expecting a bigger statue, like with the Manneken Pis in Brussels. Said so, the surroundings are lovely and it's a nice walk. I guess in Spring or Summer is better than in February when I travelled there.
