I
have
been
climbing
here
for
ages.
Whilst
I
love
climbing
outdoor
sometime
the
weather
just
doesn't
allow
it
so
it's
nice
to
have
a
few
local
climbing
centres.
I
have
climbed
up
and
down
the
county
indoors
during
colder
months,
and
I
have
to
say
that
the
staff
here
are
top
draw,
a
total
class
above.
Genuinely
nice
honest
and
so
safety
minded,
I
have
taken
work
colleagues
and
even
their
young
children
in
the
past
and
have
no
concerns
whatsoever
with
the
level
of
safety,
and
the
potential
fun
new
participants
will
have!
Highly
recommend
going.
But
if
you
are
an
avid
climber,
or
thinking
about
going
on
a
regular
basis...please
read
on!
NCC
is
great
if
you
plan
to
go
there
once
in
a
blue
moon!
However,
I
have
to
say
that
whilst
the
day
to
day
staff
are
superb,
it
is
clear
that
their
hands
are
so
tied!
I
ask
all
the
time
about
new
climbs,
new
bouldering
problems
but
the
place
needs
a
full
re-do.
For
us
that
climb
on
a
(quite
often)
daily
basis
the
variety
is
virtually
none
existent!
Recently
there
are
some
additional
bouldering
problems
that
have
been
left
up
following
a
competition
and
these
have
been
fantastic
to
try
out,
very
different
and
you
can
tell
the
setters
have
had
more
autonomy
than
the
usual
settings.
Please
please
continue
with
this!
All
areas
of
the
church
needs
attention,
not
from
a
safety
aspect
but
from
a
climbing
and
challenging
aspect.
Main
walls,
bouldering
area,
smaller
(kids
area)
walls
and
even
the
upper
training
area
could
be
a
million
times
better.
I
also
must
mention
2
things
that
have
not
sat
well
with
me
lately.
firstly,
the
decision
to
put
monthly
fees
up
from
£40
to
£55
(a
jump
of
over
30%!)
which
has
driven
many
of
my
friends
away
to
other
local
climbing
centres
(The
Valley
and
The
Pool)
and
they
have
done
so
out
of
principle!
I
mean
even
the
(arguably)
the
best
climbing
centre
in
Europe
are
doing
offers
over
the
summer
of
£60
for
6
weeks
and
that
climbing
centre
is
AMAZING!
Secondly,
and
linked
to
the
first
point,
how
can
a
company
increase
prices
so
high
and
change
opening
times?
I
work
5
days
a
week
in
an
office,
so
finishing
work
around
5,
getting
home
and
then
to
the
centre
for
a
couple
of
hours
is
rubbish.
They
used
to
stay
open
until
10pm
which
was
better,
but
now
close
at
9pm
Seriously,
come
on,
they
need
to
think
about
the
customer!
I
have
been
climbing
there
for
2
or
3
years
and
NCC
has
so
much
potential
but
owners/higher
management
clearly
have
no
interest
in
bring
the
centre
into
the
modern
era
with
more
dynamic
and
variety
climbing.
I
now
only
use
the
centre
when
needs
must,
when
I
am
bored
or
the
weather
stops
outdoor
climbing.
I
have
to
reaffirm
my
initial
comments
though,
if
you
are
looking
for
a
little
bit
of
fun,
somewhere
to
take
the
kids,
a
'party'
even
with
colleagues
or
even
a
kids
party
the
place
is
perfect,
the
staff
are
top
class
and
so
good
with
getting
the
kids,
who
are
often
too
scared
to
climb,
to
climb
and
really
enjoy
themselves!
But
if
you
are
interested
in
regularly
attending
I
would
remind
you
that
you
will
quickly
become
very
bored
with
the
same
old
same
old.
So
buy
a
day
pass
and
not
a
monthly
pass.
