UPDATE** I returned last night for dinner with the family and tried different menu items. The kids' meal was a great bargain and gave a lot of food. The broccoli was sautéed to perfection, and the garlic shrinp rolls were delicious. The house salad was also good and had a tasty dressing. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. In particular, the manager Wilfredo was very helpful and accomadating, as well as our awesome server Nikira. She was very knowledgeable about all the menu items and answered all my questions with ease. I will definitely be back, as I hope to bring my foodie group back for a third go round!! Make sure you check them out! I went for the 13th anniversary ramen special and I was very pleased. Ramen was flavorful and very fulling. My drink Tokyo delight was masterly crafted and delicious. My server Pemba was awesome and attentive. All of the staff we encountered were great. I will definitely be back soon to try the HH specials 😊

Good ramen place in Ballston quarters with a variety of non ramen options if Ramen is not your thing. The ramen bowls I’ve tried so far have been great. The atmosphere is also great, though there have been times where it’s been quite busy and thus a bit loud. But overall, it is a good place if you are looking to get good food. The pork Gyoza is really good.

We decided to have lunch here as all the other restaurants had an hour wait time, and Jinya had a table available for our group. The restaurant is downstairs, so it may be the reason for this hidden gem. We enjoyed their ramen and rice dishes. The entrees were delicious and filling. Service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for our group. We were able to chat while enjoying our lunch. Metro stops nearby. Great spot for lunch and dinner and service is excellent.

Such good food! Brilliant apps & creative cocktails. Impossible Gyoza are *amazing* - good for anyone vegan, kosher, or just wanting smth lighter but tasty. You'd never know they're plant based. Ditto the creamy vegan ramen! Also the shrimp ramen is fantastic, as are the quinoa salad, buns, & veggie sides.

First time here. We ordered the spicy prawn ramen, the vegan ramen and the fried chicken to try. Oh my Lord!!!! Yummmmmmmmmmm Our server was the most lovely young lady, very efficient, polite, knowledgeable and friendly.

This is literally the best Ramen I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve tried Ramen all over the states, and nothing compares to this restaurant. It’s downstairs in the shopping center and it’s a gem! You’re seated immediately. I’ve literally never had to wait and service is very fast. I’ve always had great service here but Penpa was literally the best server I’ve ever had here. I mean service was on point! She greeted me, she was super nice and attentive, and didn’t disappear after my food arrived. I would ask to sit in her section every time. I ate the Jinya Tonkotsu black. Delicious! I’ve had the chicken before as well. I love the mocktails. They’re an awesome option for those who do not drink alcoholic beverages. And the mochi is a must try! I will always come here when I’m in NorVa/DC.

This is the best Jinya location in the metro area. The service was prompt, the atmosphere was amazing, and the food was delicious. The servers were all prompt and courteous. My server was very helpful in making sure the carry out order I placed with my dine in order was ready to go when I was. I do wish, however, they seasoned the tempura Brussel sprouts more. Those are my favorite and I couldn’t taste the truffle oil on them. But otherwise, lovely experience!

This chain ramen restaurant offers a lot of good ramen. This location is found within the Ballston Quarter mall on Level C along with the other restaurants, but has its own designated pace within the food hall. Prices are ubiquitous across their different locations at about $20 per bowl of ramen. The amount they serve leaves one satiated but not overly full. The broth and noodles are very good but I wish they provided more toppings. I would recommend the Jira Tonkotsu Black ramen but they also have some great vegan options with their Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen and Flying Harvest Vegan, which have hearth portions. Service was slow on the Sunday lunch even though it wasn't too busy, with the food taking over 40 minutes to arrive and one order forgotten. Chloe, our server, was very kind, apologizing for the wait and offering us free mochi. Their chocolate mochi tasted better than the green tea mochi, which had a weird rice flour texture. She also graciously split the check for four .
