Fantastic food. Amazing service. Fresh, vibrant, authentic flavours. We had heard about this food truck before we even arrived in Arlington. At our first opportunity we stopped by and boy we weren't disappointed. We had the beef and pork tacos with extra pickle/chillies 😋 There's no seating, but we made the most of the glorious sunshine and sat along the curb across the road and devoured our tacos, all while dreaming we were in Mexico.

If you’re like me, a Mexican who has been on the search for the best taco in the DMV, look no further than Tacos El Chilango. The service is quick, friendly, and efficient. The food will have you begging for more. The menu is simple, offering a selection of 7 different tacos. Despite the small selection of offerings, all the tacos are packed with flavor, meat, and traditional toppings. They also have salsa verde, salsa roja, and habanero to enjoy with your plate. If you don’t enjoy spice, stick to salsa verde. Between my partner and I, we tried the chicken, asada, pastor, and chorizo tacos and all were hits. Here’s how they ranked for my partner: 1. I’m certain you’ll be more than happy with your picks. Things to know before you go: 1. There’s nowhere to sit, so be prepared to sit on the side walk, your car, or take the order to go. 2. As others have mentioned, this is a cash only establishment so come prepared. PS - Shoutout to the cook who gifted me an extra taco with my order. It was much appreciated!

Delicious food truck off the side of the road that's open Mondays through Saturday serving great options. Their tacos are ~$3.50 each and they only accept cash. Note there are no vegetarian options. While one can take them to go, it's also possible to eat them there. For a full meal, I'd recommend having at least 3 and their green salsa is delicious with radish and cucumber toppings as well! The staff are incredibly friendly and kind! I highly recommend checking them out!

Always a great experience at Tacos El Chilango. Jesús, the owner, is very kind and friendly. Hard to find an experience like this - a taco truck serving simple, authentic tacos - a true gem. Jesús and family serve México City (DF) style tacos. They remind me so much of Los Angeles street tacos. Highly recommend this place looking for delicious tacos from a food truck/stand. Cash only!

Found this gem 💎 after visiting the Arlington Cemetery! Its a cash only food truck serving up amazing authentic tacos! After devouring a couple each! Me and my Wife bought 15 more tacos! so we could bring home this joy! Though I do recommend eating them right there on the street while there hot! Dont ruin these babies in the microwave! The staff was friendly and welcoming! We will be back! 5 ⭐️’s all day in every way!

I love this taco truck! They have the best tacos in the area by far, and the people that work here are so nice! The pastor is my favorite, though I don't think you can go wrong with anything they have. The onion habanero is really good, and I haven't seen anywhere else around here offer that with their tacos.

I wish this business would open a dine-in restaurant. This truck operates daily, and the tacos are the absolute bomb. It is cash only, and tacos range from $3-4 per taco. Definitely recommend if you’re craving some freshly made tacos in the Arlington area.
