    Great clothing, prices were okay. The John Lennon line of men's shirts were really cool. Wouldn't accept my beaver pelts though.

    The manager, Matthew was extremely rude and abusive to me as a customer for absolutely no reason. I was about to purchase my items when I was offered an HBC rewards card, I did not even ask for it, but went through with the application. He came up to the cash register the associate was helping me at and took my drivers license and demanded I provide two pieces of photo identification as he said “my license picture doesn’t look like me” keep in mind I just had this picture taken at the registry in July. It was a fresh photo on a government form of ID. I showed him my credit card as I was so taken aback by the blatant rudeness. If he had kindly said “we need two pieces of photo ID” to process the application instead of talking to me with complete disrespect, I wouldn’t have thought twice. I asked him to show me the policy that says they need two pieces of PHOTO Id, he said “it’s my policy as the manager”. I didn’t end up buying the $200 pair of shoes I was going to buy, and instead I left feeling insulted and treated so rudely. I first off didn’t even ask for the rewards card, I simply tried to buy something and was offered. Matthew grabbed my license and rudely accused me of having a fraudulent drivers license and credit card… based on his perception that I didn’t look like my license. Absolutely disgusting behaviour towards a customer.

    10 STARS to General Manager “Debbie” at The Bay Langley who in Dec. 2021 seamlessly and professionally solved my problem regarding a lost receipt that was desperately needed for an exchange of an expensive product that was causing me a lot of stress. A stop by the store earlier had resulted in being told by associates “that nothing could be done” to track down the missing receipt. Frustrated, I decided to make one last call to the store in hopes of clarifying that what I had been told was correct. Luckily the phone was answered by GM Debbie, who assured me she would do all she could to help me, and went out of her way to take down all the necessary particulars, and then promptly called me back within 10 minutes with a complete solution to my problem. Customer service like this seems to be a rarity these days, and I’m so appreciative of Debbie going the extra mile for me on a busy evening. Your excellent customer service has instilled back full faith in this brand I love shopping at, and will keep me and my family coming back time and time again. THANK YOU again Debbie!

    Scam alert. They dangle a "20% off sign up for HBC MasterCard" but you don't get approved then and there. Everything is "pending review". So they lure you in with a 20% off promise only to have your application take a few days to be approved. So no discount but they get you to sign up for a credit card. If your credit score is 880/900 and you earn 6 figures, you still get "reviewed"--meaning no 20% off your first purchase.

    In store is good, but online is a nightmare...a couple ok orders, then the WORST Online shopping experience ever. Shipped the wrong size EIGHT TIMES! Never able to resolve other than a refund... but I wanted what I ordered. Despite promises of follow up...ZERO followup was made. Out of country phone support was horrible, blatantly answered incorrectly, lied and more! (1 terrible, 1 ok-ish, 2 were great) but 8 hours of wasted time trying to resolve & the bay feels $20 coupon was adequate - it is NOT! (That's a whopping $0.40/per hour!) Never got what I ordered, nor followup as promised (4 months, so clearly it's never going to happen) The refund & repurchase policy is also pushing THEIR errors to the customer to resolve. Fix it yourself & don't make me pay upfront 2x and wait 2 billing cycles for my refund. Horrible online experience. Don't do it! You'll regret it.... Dear The Bay, replying to a negative review 7+months later and AGAIN putting the responsibility on ME to hunt down support. Sorry, again a bad business move....I see the same reply to other negative reviews. Maybe fix the problems, or offer more than $20 off when it took me 8+ hours of time to TRY & fix YOUR ERROR ($20/8= $2.50/hour 🤣 thanks for the offer but I can do better working a minimum wage job. Ps. I didn't use the $20 because it was an insult not a solution!) Again, 9+ months later and no followup nor did I get my goods. Adding an extra level of failure with the timewasting reply, and not actually resolving anything. You don't care, stop pretending!

    I was supposed to post this during Christmas but completely forgot. I was last min shopping for my boyfriend and really needed help choosing a watch. There was a gentleman behind the counter and I could tell he was getting off shift soon but he took the time to go around and help me find a watch that would dazzle my boyfriend. I believe his name was nicolas but I am not sure! He was so kind and gave me his honest opinion which was greatly appreciated. My boyfriend loved his watch and I am so happy with my purchase. Thank you!

    The worst delivery service ever! Never ever buy furniture from this place. Firstly they took 8 months just to deliver a sectional couch. And the delivery team just left the boxes lying in our living room and refused to assemble it. Don’t even ask about the customer service. If you can’t provide good service then better stop your online delivery.

    Bought two suitcases from this store, both of which broke. The carry-on broke after two flights, and the large checked baggage broke after one flight. I’ve been trying to get a refund or an exchange them for new ones for months, but haven’t got any help from the store or from Swiss gear who makes the luggage.

    Amazing clearance sale until March first week 2023. So if you are looking for winter clothing to be worn next year, get it right now. Staff at Willowbrook location is also good !

    They never have anything exciting going on throughout the year. The staff are hard to find when I need them, even when they are not busy. The store corners are dirty and unorganized. You feel like you are in your grandma's garden (that is not taken care of properly). Definitely due make-over, in my opinion.

    May 28 2023 Sunday, One of the worst experiences I've ever had was when I visited The Bay Willowbrook Langley Watch and Jewelry Repair. It's rare for me to give a place a one-star review, but this particular place truly deserves it. The lady working there was extremely rude and downright nasty towards me when I went in today. I needed a new watch strap, and that's when the nightmare began. Firstly, after I handed her my watch, she rudely demanded that I stand aside so she could assist someone else who arrived after me. Although I didn't mind letting her help the other customer first, her manner was impolite. She even instructed me not to stand near her counter when I was already a good 4 feet away. Moreover, she made a derogatory comment about my nationality, which I won't repeat here. I chose to ignore it since my primary concern was getting my watch fixed. Secondly, after she finished helping the other customer, she informed me that it would take a while to replace the watch pins because they were all mixed up. I kindly replied, "No rush, I'm not in a hurry." However, when she struggled for 10 minutes trying to put the pins in, I asked if the difficulty was due to my watch's lug holes not being in the right place. Unfortunately, she immediately assumed I was insulting her professional skills. She aggressively stated, "The watch is fine, or you can do it yourself." I tried to explain that my question was about the watch, not her, and that it was not meant to be offensive. In response, she said, "There are a million things I can say about you." At that point, I had no idea why she was being so hostile towards me. Confused, I asked, "I appreciate your help, but why are you being so rude to me?" She muttered, "I don't need your kind here." It was baffling to me because I have been in Canada since I was 2 years old, I speak perfect English, and I have a university education. I couldn't comprehend how I inconvenienced her when I had been patient and respectful of her instructions. Frustrated, I said, "Thank you for your time, but I don't think the band will fit my needs. You have been rude. Have a good day." I turned away with my watch, only to discover that she had scratched the face and lugs in the process. As I walked away, she made another rude comment, but I chose to keep going, knowing that arguing or escalating the situation would benefit neither myself nor the other staff and customers present. Having worked in customer service myself, I have never encountered such unwarranted behavior. When a customer has been kind and patient, they should never be subjected to racial slurs and insults. I believe it's crucial for establishments to carefully vet and hold their employees accountable. In the meantime, if you're a watch enthusiast or simply someone in need of assistance and willing to spend your hard-earned money, I recommend going elsewhere and supporting a business where the color of your skin is not a factor.

    Lots of good sales on right. We found sheets have an excellent price. The selection was fine but going quickly. Waiting at the service desk was exactly as expected in December, everyone had special requests or questions and it did take a little longer.

    Ordered an item in store because it wasn’t in stock. Got the delivery today, wrong product. Now have to return the wrong item via Canada Post to get my refund and then go back to the store to order again…. Wow, really quite something

    I’m sharing our terrible experience in Hudson Bay, Langley. The manager in the men's clothing behaved unethically. He was insulting and not helpful at all. We are never going back to this store again. There are better stores with better customer service.

    I am sorry to say the Bay prices are out of wack with today's economy. Furniture is over priced and not the best quality. The Shoe area I do not find very organized and hard to find what you are looking for. The ladies under garments are usually in good supply. I just wish there were more Sales.

    Still is living to its own legacy. Been to downtown Vancouver and Metro. Nothing cheap here but it’s a good way to find things you need in 1 place. It is a department store for sure and it’s really getting old. No updates done. Elevator is small and stinks. Some areas where there are carpet stinks like puppy pee, specifically the places with less trafic. Just walked around and might not stop by again. The mall is updated but apparently HB isn’t. They also have Zellers.

    The store is clean and big. You would think that the sale and clearance prices would be interesting, but nah. Still a little expensive. Add usual, like all stores in US and Canada, staff is always scsres.

    Update** they left the security tag on the clothing I bought. Like, what kind of service is this? Will NOT be using in store pickup here ever again. — Rest of review — Impossible to find anything in this store without the help of an associate. No maps, mediocre directory and if you’ve got an order to pick up. Good luck finding where. For those that do need the location of where. It’s at the FAR back of the second level at a service desk that’s usually unstaffed. No signs that clearly show what it is, you’d just assume it’s another service desk. Makes me want to order from elsewhere if it’s that difficult to pick up an order. Just use curb side as they offer it. Not impressed with my latest visit. 3/5

    Went to the Langley Bay today to get to find my husband a dress shirt and shorts. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were helpful, cheerful and assisted me until I found what I needed. I love shopping there

    It was nice to find a nice duvet cover on clearance here. Doesnt seem to be too much I'd buy here though except maybe some science project kits in the messy toy section and some of the chocolate. The Canada clothing needs some first nations representation

    Bought a jacket from Langley hudson’s bay location on full price few days ago n checked discount online yesterday almost 55%..Emailed the store to know if I qualify for a price match… Linda replied right away n answered all my queries.. Asked to come over today for price match… She made the whole process so smooth, i had 2 concerns 1. I paid using MasterCard gift card, so was not sure wether will be able to receive refund back. 2. The style code was different on online jacket n the one I bought, but the jacket was exact same.. Linda patiently explained n resolved both my concerns.. She gave me hudson’s bay gift card worth the price match amount which i am happy to receive n will soon use it.. Linda’s customer service was above n beyond..

    Had a bit of trouble finding an employee to help me in menswear and a checkout to pay for my item but otherwise had a great experience. Fragrance area is always a quick passthrough because it's so smelly, but thats a given. Came looking for a dress to wear to an evening gala and left with a gorgeous gown! Very happy with the amount items to look through, will be back when I have more time to get some dress shirts for my bf. Finding shoes to go with this dress will be a whole other event now, haha.

    Always have great prices on footwear but never have any stock and if they do it's a weird size no one wears . Found the same to be true with the men's fragrances , can find online and says they have it in store but never actually do .

    Bay always have nice and good quality supplies. One catch was when I bought a gift for a 3 months old baby , the lady didn’t check it said it’s 3 items and she put the pans away. I didn’t noticed it until they opened the gift. They should know better infant kids are more than one items.

    The mall parking was nuts and the mall itself was very busy with xmas shoppers. When we walked in from the parking lot there was a greeter at the door that directed us to the men's formal wear we were looking for. The place was pretty picked over since the discounts were good value. We found a few things and proceeded to the fitting area where we got excellent help from Eddison, a lovely young man with excellent customer service skills and good knowledge of men's fashion and the styles and options available in his department. We left with a nice looking outfit at a good price. Will definitely return and hope to work with Eddison again.

    It was a disappointment on this Bayday shopping! The staff members' attitudes were indifferent, except one of the female staff members who worked in cosmetic department. She was friendly and helpful. Other staff members were indifferent. For example, the Bay closed at 7pm on Monday but the mall closed at 6pm. When I asked for the exit to leave the store and I got NO direction but an indifferent answer. The same cold attitude as I had asked help for some household products.

    No body working at the shoe section and was very disappointed. I even rang the bell but the perfume ladies had their bloody music so loud it was like a rave over there. Damm HBC, your managers need to start showing their teeth and get those young perfume ladies in line.

    The staff at this location is extremely unprofessional and has no sense of how to treat customers. I had to wait at the cashier counter while two members of the staff “busied” themselves with checking tags on the racks and pretended not to see me waiting. I shopped for over $400 and did not receive the basic customer service that should be provided in every retail store. I will not be shopping here again and you shouldn’t either.

    Didn't see anything different than what it was before. All good. Some deals but I only went in to get a battery installed in my watch. It was great because there was no one there and was able to get it done in less than 10 mins. Saw some deals but didn't pay attention. Some staff were wearing masks and some not.
