Parked in Lizard village and walked down to Lizard Point - about 15 minutes walk. Dedicated path to the side of the road. Great cafe when you eventually reached the Point. Superb views and food. Staff excellent. Stunning views as you can see. Visit to the lighthouse if you wish. Highly recommended visit to the most southerly Point in England

Beautiful place to visit. Car park is owned by National Trust so free for members or a small charge otherwise. Toilets nearby, fairly clean considering peak season. Short walk downhill to Lizard Point with a steep/none steep option. Lots of benches to take breaks on and admire the beautiful view. The doggos enjoyed an ice cream from the lighthouse shop.

Of course, the southernmost point is worth a visit in itself. Worth a trip if you are in the vicinity, as we are. But the small station of the National Trust is great. The super nice staff had set up 2 top binoculars. Everyone, especially the children, had the opportunity to see all the seals lying on the rocks in the sea. We would also recommend a short hike along the Coast Path. If you're lucky with the weather, you'll see some great scenery with beautiful bays and wildlife.

Another place of outstanding natural beauty with the chance to sea seals and dolphins. The walk down to the beach is very steep and not overly big, not a beach to sunbathe etc. We had a meal at wavelength, a very nice restaurant on the cliff over looking the bay, lots of outside tables. Just take in the views and peace and quiet.

Plenty of parking and facilities in the village. You can drive down to the lighthouse and pay for parking if you wish. The path down is relatively easy to navigate, and once you get there the views are amazing. Well worth the effort

Absolutely loved our day out at Lizard Point. We are National Trust members so parked on site where it is free for members. Such a beautiful place, we saw lots of seals. A pathway leads down to a small beach where the beautiful old lifeboat house remains. Tip, pack your sea shoes so that you can paddle without slipping on the seaweed! Had a cream tea at the most southerly cafe in mainland UK, which was lovely with freshly baked scones and milk alternatives available. Lovely gift shop where my daughter purchased a seal teddy for which some of the proceeds went to The Cornwall Seal Trust and Research Group. Finished off with a tour of the lighthouse which was very informative and would 100% recommend doing whilst here.

Lovely place to visit. Offering scenic coastal walks. See if you can spot the seals bobbin up and down in the waters. Cafe, ice cream and gift shop conviently placed. Windy so be careful with young children around cliff edges.

Absolutely beautiful. Walked from Lizard to Kynance Cove along the coastal path and, although it had some tricky parts, it was stunning. Saw lots of seals along the way, which was so exciting! I had wanted to see seals in their natural environment for years! Just wish I had a better lens on my camera. Well worth the walk!

Amazing coastal walk and views, parking in the village is free. In my opinion just as amazing as Lands End, it's worth remembering it's the mostly southernly point in mainland UK. The coastal path is ready going do you don't have to be especially fit.

Breathe taking view. Nice cafe shops. Parking Β£3. Recommend walking the coastal line to Kenance Cove and it takes about 45 minutes. The view is unbelievable.

A must visit when in Cornwall. Beautiful coastal walks, although challenging for some. Wildlife everywhere. Refreshments available at the the cafe. Cheap all day parking for non National Trust members. A brilliant day out.

Breathtaking views. Lovely walks along the coastline. Cafe. Benches dotted about. Small car park at the bottom. Ideal mainly for motorcycles as a very narrow road. Gets busy.

Boy this place feels like the end of the world. It is dramatic and scarily close to the cliff edge which I swear is moving! Seriously, It is a very pretty location and the furthest south UK mainland gets. Nice shop; but the drive is very narrow so care with venturing with a car unless you feel confident.

We parked at kynance Cove where we had a lovely scenic dip after which we walked to Lizard. The walk involves a quite a bit of up & downs but the beautiful scenery makes it worth the effort. Not being a fan of close proximity to high cliff edges made it a bit more of a challenge for me but I managed, the ice cream & friendly team at the point prepared us for the trek back. All in all a great day out!

Such a beautiful place, the views were spectacular and even the fog coming in could not distract from this. We walked from Lizard village which wasn't far really, with a dedicated walkway off the narrow roads πŸ™‚ ... however there is national trust parking closer and limited spaces actually at the viewing point. Having previously visited Lands End I totally recommend making this trip to the most southerly point too ❀️

Was lovely down at the lizard today. The walk down was made easy as a walk way has been out in so your not in the road with the cars. Wonderful views Two good cafes. Was a good experience.😊

I visited here on Tuesday (17th October 2023) - it was a very windy day, the sun was trying to come out pass the clouds too. Lovely views to look at and a great place to spot see Seals too. It can be very windy here, which makes it difficult to walk down to the Old Boathouse (or back up the hill) - as the wind was pushing me in different directions. Is wheelchair friendly until you get to the Old Boathouse, which is where there are some steps and loose bits of the cliff on the floor, as well as the beach.

Lizard Point is the furthest south you can get on mainland Great Britain and provides breathtaking views of the cliffs and sea. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Lizard Point and enjoying the beautiful views on offer. We parked in the short-stay car park just up the hill although there is a small car park providing immediate access onto Lizard Point. There is also a segregated footpath leading towards the nearby village where further parking spaces are available. It is also connected to the wider coastal path network. There are a small selection of cafes and gift shops at Lizard Point which seemed quite busy with visitors. We enjoyed watching the waves crash along the bottom of the cliffs as well as watching the local sea birds and even two seals swimming around in the cove.

Cannot explain with words how beautiful it was. Lizard point has excellent walks going north east and north west. North west goes towards kynance cove, which is also extremely beautiful. The town itself is lovely with some lovely Cornish pasties. Extremely beautiful landscape which wasn't too hard to walk through.

Beautiful place. Not as busy or commercial as Lands End. A decent size car park and a few shops near the point. The lighthouse is quite a point of interest and worth a look. Not sure it's worth paying to view the insides. Lovely walks along the coast.

Absolutely wonderful place to spend the day walking around. There is a cabin where you can refuge yourself and do some bird watching. Town super close 10min walk from trust car park (which is included for trust members) and you can enjoy delicious crab sandwiches or pasties or even having coffee in the gorgeous coffee shops close to lizard point. 10/10

Love the variety of walks in this area. The coast is just spectacular. Its worth persevering along the coastal paths in either direction as one breathtaking view is surpassed by the next. The hidden gem of Marconi's hut presented by a knowledgeable guide was my icing on this cake

Beautiful place, can be very windy but so worth a visit. We were lucky to see 2 seals too while we were there and a oyster catcher on its nest. The scenery is just stunning. We had a snack and a drink in the cafe with the dog too and they spoiled the pooch which was lovely. Toilets available at the national trust car park.

Beautiful, well worth a visit and a stunning coastal walk. Seen a couple of seals surfing the waves, weather was amazing, a truly magical part of the world

Stunning views along a beautiful coastal path. Parking is pretty good but be prepared if you want to walk along the coastal path towards kynance cove, as although its a beautiful view all the way along, it can be very windy and also quite a tough trek with many stairs, rocks and the like that you'd expect. Worth a visit in my opinion though.

The car park is at the bottom of the road, or you can walk from the town which takes 15 minutes. For national trust members its free. You can pay by " pay by phone " app. You can also pay by cash. Β£2 for 1 hour Β£ for 4 hours Β£6 for over 4 hours. A small walk takes you to the edge. You can walk along the cliffs from here. At the actual point it's very busy, and also very commercialised. There are a few small shops plus a cafe. You can walk down to the water which is a pebbled beach. If you're lucky you can see the seals on the rocks in the sea. Best seen with binoculars. Nice place, but not a long stay place. Good for a quick visit.

Excellent place to visit. Not a whole day trip but certainly worth a 1/4 or half a day to see and view (knock off the places to of been). Absolutely stunning views can also do some seal spotting and gold bird spotting if that's your thing. Around a 20 min walk from the upper village or a few very close car parks to the walk ways and viewing spots. Some wonderful places to grab some lunch which will review separately. Carpark is chargeable but not overly expensive. A few steep hills nothing overly steep but elderly could need some assistance plenty of rest spots. Overall really good place to visit and take in some views and real clean air. πŸ‘Œ

Stunning coastline at the most southerly point in the UK with a nice light house at the side of the car park. Nice walk down to the beach or around the coastal walks along the cliffs. The car park has toilets on site and there is a gift shop and coffee shop just near the sea front cliffs. Not much to do there other than walk or have a pick nick but there is the village near by and the stunning Kynance Cove just up the road

What a great little place to visit. Some really nice gift shops and places to eat. Free parking in the village or there is a National Trust car park a bit further on. Scenic routes to the cliff and shore line. There’s also a lighthouse here to visit which has a fee to enter, or simply visit the shop.
