Don't normally leave reviews but really thought I should on this occasion. The site was so clean and the staff couldn't do enough to help. The food was amazing in the restaurant. We stayed on a service pitch which was a really good size with amazing views. The only thing we didn't like was the was there was too much gravel and not enough grass to sit on, but that's only a personal preference. Would definitely stay again.

Great cost for a lovely setting. Was here for 12 nights and enjoyed every minute. The site was clean and tidy, with toilets and showers cleaned regularly. My only suggestion would be is to improve the Internet service in the fields further from the bar/reception. Other than that was a perfect time away and would highly recommend, staff were also extremely helpful and friendly.

Just got back from staying at Globe Vale. We had a serviced pitch which was so big . Everywhere was so clean and tidy. Shower block was immaculate . Do need a car to get about as there is no bus service. Can understand why they give an arrival time as 2pm because the road up to the site is narrow and if there is another vehicle there is no way you could get past.

Not one for leaving reviews normally but this is a great campsite and Great facilities, everywhere clean and tidy. Small play park for the kids. Pub and restaurant on-site with entertainment in the evenings. Pitches are marked out clearly with plenty of space in between. We have a 8 berth tent with ample space either side. Would thoroughly recommend and will be back next year for sure.

Great spacious pitch. We used the serviced pitch area and it was clean and tidy. It was also level. Staff very helpful. Good views and walks closeby. Shower block was in very good condition. Very good recycling area. Site was busy over Christmas but still peaceful. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Spent 10 nights in our caravan on super pitch hard standing 5 star, toilet block very clean 5 star,.could not fault the site at all the restaurant 5 star and something go on evey night .The owners work really hard to keep this site 100% look forward to see you at Easter. BIG THANKS.

Globe vale was a brilliant camp site for a family holiday for the following reasons : pitches were excellent with a lot of space the toilet and shower blocks were spotless Kids play park is good and next to shaft Inn Tank & all the staff in shaft inn were all amazing and made you feel so welcome , plus the evening entertainment every night was completely family friendly and there food is very good ! I had the ribs and they were probably the best ribs in BBQ sauce I have ever had Best recycling I have seen on any campsite also I would highly recommended if you are visiting Cornwall stay here :)

Love our seasonal pitch here at this beautifully kept Holiday Park centrally located in Cornwall. The whole park is kept spotlessly clean and tidy with beautiful facilities including The Shaft Inn serving delicious food. The near by A30 gives great access to most Cornish attractions and beaches. With direct access from site to the mining trails (multi user) it is ideal for bicycles, walkers and all terrain mobility scooters. This includes the Coast to Coast mining trail from Portreath to Devoran. Can't wait for my next visit.

With it being our first time camping I was very sceptical, however every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was great to see all employees take pride in the site, there was always someone maintaining (mowing) even in 56mph winds!! The facilities were very very clean!!! The staff were very friendly and would happily stop and talk to us about our stay. Unfortunately we did have an incident with some other campers, which was reported to Globevale and handled immediately and discreetly!! Overall we will 100% be returning! Well worth the 7 hours journey!

Not our first visit to Globe Vale. This must be one of the best sites we visit over the year. Shower blocks are kept spotless as are the washing up areas and toilets. The pitches are good, grass or hardstanding. Wetsuit cleaning areas are available to use and also kept clean and tidy. This is a great site , with excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff. I don't know what else to say. Oh yeah, the shaft inn is on site and does a decent pint and food if you need it. Thanks , Andy.

Tucked out of the way static caravan park. Has excellent restaurant bar on site with large parking area close by. Has magnificent views over the sea north/ northwest facing. Will need transport to local supermarkets less than a couple of miles away. Easy acess to the dual carriageway that runs through Cornwall.

Very nice staff and service. Nice pitch for us to stay for 6 days, very quiet. good facilities , toilet very clean. The restaurant on-site is very nice too. Best location for visit surrounding areas in Cornwall and very close to supermarket. Highly recommended.

Just visiting family for the day. Site appeared well set up and clean and tidy. Personally not a camper, but if I were, I'd seriously consider this location ****

A really well run site, with large pitches, bathrooms, laundry and dish washing area are immaculate, great bar and restaurant and even a secure dog field. Lots to do and see in the area, fabulous beaches close by, lots of lovely walks in the area around the site.

Another amazing stay at Globe Vale Holiday Park, The site was as impressive as ever and remains well cared for and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. Cant wait to return in the summer and sample the food and drink from the freshly refurbished bar / restaurant.

I just love the site. Ideally located if you want to visit other places in Cornwall. Great facilities and friendly staff. Will definitely be booking again.

Had a fabulous week here. The caravan/mobile home accomodation is excellent, location good, staff excellent. The onsite pub/restaurant is well run, good choices, great curry night and fabulous quiz night. Thoroughly enjoyed our week and sad to be leaving tomorrow.

Amazing camp site. Perfect location for enjoying the shore and gardens in Cornwall. Absolutely magic. The bar and restaurant is first class. It’s the folk that make Globe Vale special.

Great camp. So clean. Toilets and showers are spotless The girl who works there seems to do everything there, she welcomed us on the camp, she was also working behind the bar and then she served us in the shop. Amazing worker the camp has. And when we (like idiot tourists) ordered a pizza after they had stopped serving, she even made it happen. (And I can also say that was the best pizza I've ever had). The camp need to promote this hard worker.

Overall, an excellent site. We were on a fully serviced pitch with our motorhome. The staff were helpful and friendly including those in the on-site bar which provided reasonably priced meals and live music if desired. The toilet/shower block was immaculately clean and very tidy. Only two negatives really. 1. The water in the showers could have been warmer. 2. Having to vacate our pitch by 10am. A bit early if you have to dismantle an awning etc. Only minor niggles. Would definitely use Globe Vale again.

Our favourite site for our Cornwall adventures, our second visit this year. Fantastic site, owners and staff are very pleasant and helpful, toilet and shower facilities are spotless and modern. Restaurant is brilliant and fair prices too. We'll definitely be coming back again and again. Thanks, the Green family.

We have just returned from a week away in a luxury caravan on this friendly, family run site. It was exceptionally clean, well equipped. The site was spotless, and had a very friendly welcome. We had a lovely meal in the Shaft Inn, very welcoming bar man. Steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. Definately booking again next year. We have been visiting the site for about 15 years. We have stayed in our tent over the years, stayed in our tourer and also stayed in the holiday caravans with our two dogs. It has a great dog paddock to exercise the dogs off the lead. Toilets and showers are always immaculately clean at whatever time of day/night you go. Thanks to Paul, Louise and the team for a fabulous holiday 😊

First time on this site and it was excellent. The staff were lovely and helpful. The facilities showers, toilets, wash up area, laundry room were first class spotless. The pitch we had very spacious for tent , gazebo and car could not fault it. We went to the bar for takeaway and we had a few nights eating in the staff were fantastic and I would recommend this dog friendly site to anyone 🙂 if I could give more stars I would

My partner and I stayed here in the Spa lodge in July. Our final break together before our baby arrives. The lodge was beautiful, the spa bath was perfect!. Everything worked as it should. My partner enjoyed the sauna. The campsite was very well maintained and clean. Food was very tasty and pudding was even better! Annoyed I waited h til my last night to eat there. Struggle to find something wrong apart from the cleaners just needed to pay a little more attention to detail. Great location. Within 30 minutes drive to every where we wanted to go. They had a band on that Weekend which were ok too. We are hoping to go back in the camper next year with our baby! Thanks guys!
