Absolutely terrible. I went here yesterday with severe breathing/lung pain and a pretty bad cough. The doctor didn’t seem to care. Listened to my lungs for a good 10 seconds, looked in my nose and down my throat and told me it was an upper respiratory infection. What did she do? She gave me .25mg of Dexamethasone and sent me on my way. No medication to take home or anything. So I had to take ANOTHER day off of work today to go to my primary, thay prescribed me an inhaler, antibiotics, and cough medication. My primary was genuinely in shock that the urgent care doctor gave me such a small dose of steroids and nothing else. I have been MISERABLE, I have asthma and anytime I get sick like this I CANNOT breathe. I expressed this to the urgent care doctor and they didn’t seem to care. I thought sparrow was worse but honestly after my visit here yesterday? I’d much rather go to sparrow.

Their online check in system works so well, fast, and convenient. All the workers were so friendly and helpful. I come here every time I am sick or need help with injury. Definitely the best urgent care company out there!!

They don’t have X-rays technician on Sunday, so you have to go to Bath facility for X-ray, Sorry So X-ray issue is not at the Okemos facility (Read Katy DeSantis review). Then I received a call, asking why I did not go to Bath for X-ray, I replied that I am unable to go because of other commitments. The caller said if you do not go today then you have to restart it again (means payment of $50 copay etc). I again explained that I am unable to go to Bath right now, and guess what? They did not send the referral order to MSU surgery (till 9/6 at 12:32pm). Finally, I got an appointment with my doc for treatment. It was a very unfortunate experience.

Everyone at this urgent care was so nice and easy to talk to. They listened to my problem and the PA explained what meds he was prescribing, how they worked, and why that med was best for the job. I felt great after leaving and confident that I was taken care of and will be getting better soon!

Called ahead and they told me they could do an X-ray. Waited 4 hours to get in and was told they can’t do X-rays and I had to go elsewhere. It took 30 minutes from seeing a doctor to getting an ankle brace that the nurse didn’t seem to know to how use, then the door was opened and I was left to hop out of the office on my own with no assistance. Really frustrated with this experience.

Worst nightmare scenario happened at this urgent care. Think twice before trusting them. A man who claimed to be a doctor injected me with god knows what and no one there would take responsibility for it. So, I was called back to a room to wait for a doctor. A man then came in, in a white lab coat, introduced himself as a doctor and started asking the normal questions. When I told him about an issue I had, he said he had a shot that would fix it right up. Left the room, came back with a shot and gave it to me, theb said to wait and left. Another person came in and I asked them about the shot, they checked my record and said I wasn't given a shot and had not yet been seen by the doctor. They then refused to help or do anything about the deviant that came in and said it was my fault for just accepting a shot from a man - that looked like a doctor at a doctors office and who came in just as I was expecting their doctor.

What a pleasant and excellent experience. I am from out of town for work and needed medical care. The entire staff from reception, nurses, assistant, and doctor were a pleasure. All were knowledgeable and helpful. The office is clean. The online check in is efficient. Way to go, making an out of towner feel right at home. Thank you.

When you're sick, you want the simplest process ever. That's how LUC is. I did everything on line so that limited interaction when I got there...and being sick that's my preference. I was in and out quickly and the staff was friendly.

I used the online system to make a reservation which moved me up the waitlist after I arrived at the urgent care clinic. After a short wait, I was admitted and vitals were taken. Dr. Neff saw me shortly after that. He checked me out, listened to what I said, discussed recommendations with me and promptly called in prescriptions. He even researched an additional prescription I wanted and arranged for that to be filled as well. He was personable as well as professional on a busy day at the clinic.

Usually a great location however when I visited last time there was not a working x-ray machine. Staff was apologetic but said they were not allowed to tell patients until AFTER the visit due to policy. We waited 2 hours plus intake only to be told to leave and get x rays somewhere else.

I picked my son up from school and he was crying and screaming in pain. Turns out he had an ear infection in each ear. He was just a mess. We walked in and immediately a nurse came out with a warm compress to try to make him feel better. They got us to the Doctor in record time!

I don’t usually ever review places but after my experience I felt I had to. They were fast and took wonderful care of multiple problems I went in with. The staff was very kind and funny and made me feel comfortable. They actually listened to me and treated an issue that my own pc had been putting of treating.

My daughter and I had a great experience. I placed a time online, when we got there 20 minutes early we were in within 15 minutes. The doctor seem knowledgeable and very nice we were in and out in 40 minutes.

Wait time was pretty long— appt at 5, arrived 15 min early, wasn’t seen until about 5:40. So if you’re in a rush, this might be a problem, but I found that the quality of care outweighed the wait time. It was thorough, efficient, friendly, and informative.

I have been to several branches. Wait times (listed on their website) are always shorter than other places, and fairly accurate. Staff has always been friendly. Docs know what they're doing.

Be ready to wait for hours even if you have booked the appointment. They have their own way to call the patients even if your are scheduled much before someone else or even if your pain level is more then others. Hard to understand their criteria to call the patient

I signed my son up online to see him for a medical appointment, and the machine said walk-ins are 180 minutes to 201 minutes. I went two blocks over to complete the registration because my phone didn’t work in the area, and someone from the registration desk called me and told me if I was not back within five minutes, the appointment would be canceled. She said that the machine lags sometimes. They need to get that fix. The young ladies sitting at the front desk do not even attempt to inform you the machine is not accurate. They barely even say hello. Customer service is for the birds these days. 👎

Have been to this location twice in last 6 months, both times staff has gotten me in and out in a timely fashion. Staff is very friendly as well.

The staff were kind, supportative and efficient. This was exactly what I needed for my finger cutting accident. They supported other patients with the same assistance and efficiency. The front desk, medical tech and P.A. all worked as a team with the managing physician to get me back to family evening routines. Katlin was my P.A. She was personable, provided great support and she gave me a very effective stitch! I am thankful for this care team services. These are really good humans!

I hurt my wrist pretty bad (I mean, no bone showing, but definitely concerning) and showed up just before close. The woman at the front desk was very nice and hospitable. The man who did my vitals and x-ray (such cross-trained!) was great, and the PA Sara was delightful as well. Overall my wait time was minimal, and everyone I came in contact with was friendly and professional. The X-Ray guy even helped me think of a more interesting story to tell people about how I hurt my wrist! I left with peace of mind, and a “Lansing Urgent Care” branded wrist brace (slick move, guys). I had Sparrow insurance for years, but now that I have different insurance I have more options, and I’m glad this is one of them. Thanks y’all!

Terrible receptionist! Somehow I was missed for like an hour. And I accepted that. But once we straighten that all out. She still put me in the system wrong. all these people walking in ahead of me.. diagnosed with bronchitis so you can imagine how bad I was feeling out in the waiting room and I told her that and she still called like four people ahead of me. I’ll never go back there again.!!! The doctor was great though!

Excellent customer service from the receptionist to medical assistant to doctor!! I had to do a Covid test and felt bad for potentially exposing them. They were professional, very helpful and kind, which is not always the case with the medical field. Also, SUPER short wait time for walk-in.

This place is wonderful. I really didn't want to go to an urgent care but I'm really glad I picked Lansing Urgent Care in Okemos. Great bedside manner, easy and fast check-in, and a very helpful and caring staff!

We haven't had great experiences at Urgent Care in the past but our first visit at the Okemos location was great. We made an appt in advance and got right in within minutes of checking in. We didn't wait long, the doctor was patient and took the time to answer our questions and actually listened to our concerns (which is rare).

It was my first time at this particular Urgent Care and I was very appreciative for providining the care they did (excellant) at the speed at which it was provided. I don't plan on having medical emergencies but I will definitely be going back if another one happens!

Made an appointment for 12:30 and didn’t get seen until 1:45. I get that you’re but also why have me make an appointment if i’m still going to have to wait an hour and 15? Spent all of 5 minutes in the room and barely looks at me and then he sends me on my way with a prescription for cough medicine and tells me I should get better on my own?? I’ve been sick for 9 days straight. Go to get my prescription and the lady at the pharmacy says they sent it over and then canceled it so it was a whole mess trying to get it. Just a waste of time and money.

This was by far one of the best experiences at an urgent care yet. The Dr. refused to give up and wanted to find relief and answers for me. Staff truly made me feel like I was as their most important patient even though I know they have a million patients come through the door. I drove further to this urgent care because they had a lower wait time and I would drive back to this urgent care every time for the type of service and care I received regardless of the wait time. Thank you for truly caring and making me feel like a person and not just a number.

Relatively short waiting time. Staff competent and friendly. I really appreciated PA Lauren’s knowledge and assured and confident style. This was the first time I ever went to an urgent care facility. I hope I don’t have to go again, but if so, this is where I’ll head.

The first nurse lady to come in was so sweet , kind and very funny and helpful. She deserves a raise for real , but the rest of the staff were very kind and I would HIGHLY recommend going there and if I ever have issues I will for sure go there. Thank you to the staff for dealing with me and stitching me up!

I came in because of a minor injury but one that needed more help than I could do at home. I got in and out prettyquickly because as soon as they saw it they recognized it needed immediate attention. They got me patched up, helped keep my spirits up, and it was as good as an experience I could expect while in pain and bleeding. They have also been very patient with my kid getting a shot who was very distraught. This is becoming my go to urgent care.

Lynette, Bailey, and Jesse took excellent care of me. They were kind, compassionate, and quick. I was able to get my medicine right at the clinic. Thanks, LUC!

I registered online before arriving (Tuesday evening). When I arrived, it said I had 20-30 min wait. I waited in the lobby about 7 minutes before being called in. Staff did my history, took my vitals. Within 5 minutes of her leaving, a gal came in, did the physical check up (I was there for a respiratory infection), told me she was ordering an oral antibiotic and antibiotic eye drops, explained that it could also be viral and likely was if it didn’t improve after 3-4 days on antibiotics. Shortly after she left, another gal came in, reviewed the meds and how I was to take them and confirmed the pharmacy. I checked out. Was there about 40 minutes total. All staff were very professional and efficient. Excellent experience. I will be back if I need care again.

Probably the friendliest staff in an urgent care that I have ever experienced! All the way around too. Front desk, nurse, and physician were all wonderful people and were super kind. And made lovely conversation as well as made me feel super comfy. The care was also super quick and efficient! I was in and out with a prescription in hand withing 45 minutes. 🤗

Another update: Just took another kid for my 3rd trip in 2 days. Another amazing visit! I'm feeling right at home by this point! Haha They just might have the best staff I've ever seen! Great job all of you!!! Update: I just went for my 2nd visit today with a different kid.......yup, they are still amazing!! I wish they could be my primary care! Made an online appointment for my teen daughter. Got in quickly. Very thorough! They even added me in testing for strep & mono. The staff were all amazing!! I highly recommend!!!

Today I took my granddaughter to Urgent Care in Okemos as a walk-in patient. Everyone was cery friendly and professional. Our wait time was only about 20 minutes. The PA we saw was very thorough. She listened to all our concerns and explained how she would be treating her. I would highly recommend Urgent Care. This was our first visit here.
