Exceeded expectations --- the value for the price was definitely there. The small details were on point and things that are difficult to achieve in SE Asia -- such as rooms not smelling musty/moldy because of the constant high humidity -- were achieved here. the rooms were fresh and clean. The finishes and carpets were taken care of and not battered or worn. The lobby was bright, fresh-smelling, and clean. To top it off, the restaurant that I tried (Mosaic) was a great value for the quality of the food. I did not use the pool or gym so cannot comment, although the pool looked lovely and I could see it being cared for by hotel staff. I am trying to figure out how I can stay here regularly as it's the best I've stayed at in Vientiane. (in a moderate to high budget I've stayed in at least 6 hotels in Vientiane).

Good location - 15 mins walk to old town centre Nice breakfast buffet Good view of the city but not directly next to the river Only 4 stars becuz some very unpleasant personal experience - the hotel forgot about my airport transportation and when I called the staff who picked up could not understand or speak basic English there I needed to then get my own transportation. When I tried to extend my stay for longer, I was told that I had to move my room, which was not the case when I asked again on the day of check out… so make sure you find a nice and capable staff - Champ was very very professional and kind. Otherwise you may end up having some shocking experiences too

Good place. Nice amenities. But, potentially sketchy housekeeping staff - saw my luggage items moved (mostly clothes) and tried to say that I drank 3 beers when I did not.

Very nice hotel in city center. It has a nice pool, nice staff, Melanie was very helpful at the front desk and accommodating. Will recommend anyone who has a taste for luxury to stay here! You can see a River view of the Mekong from the hotel!

So surprised, happy when I returned to my room today and received a birthday gift from Crowne Plaza Vientiane, with a cake and especially a greeting card with many signatures and congratulations. At first, I noticed that the room was a bit different, and when I looked around, I saw a very meaningful birthday present. It's really difficult to express my feelings right now, I can only say thank you to all the members of Crowne Plaza Vientiane who have taken care of the details of customers like me, to bring great surprise and happiness. This will be a memorable birthday, a beautiful memory in my life.

It was a really enjoyable experience from check-in to checkout. Impeccable service from everyone in the hotel. Nice breakfast buffet and luxurious dinner at the 3 Merchants restaurant with private dining available with reservation. The infinity pool is located next to the gym and spa on the 3rd floor overlooking the city. Beautiful stay!

Had an AMAZING stay here. My Standard Double Room was huge, luxurious, and clean. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room service is available and the food options are very affordable. Gym is 24-hour and the pool is a nice place to relax too. Check out their Beer Garden as it’s a lovely place to have dinner. Hotel is also near many restaurants, massage parlours, cafes, and bars. Can’t wait to come back here again. Thank you for the pleasant stay 💙

The service was stunning. From ye moment we walked into the building we were taken care of. The reception staff were incredibly accommodating. One chap took us to view menus and went way above and beyond what was required. Thank you I wish I had looked at your badge for your name. You were wonderful and you should get a nomination for Employee of the Month. The restaurant staff were just as good. We were seated, menued, watered and then order taken with a calm precision of a true professional. We received our wine quickly after ordering. We ordered the Pizza and a Cheeseplate. Both were very good. The wine was a dry red and excellent but heady. There is a service charge which is usual for establishments of this class. About 10%. Which is at the lower end.

Came here twice and enjoyed both of our times here. Staff is extremely helpful and spoke enough English to be able to get any concerns addressed. Everything was very neat and clean! They have a variety of restaurant and bars on site! Elephant lounge was my favorite when they had live singing.Their staff was always on top of it. Especially Phoud he was great! As well as Kevin at the front desk. Their pool was amazing. They had a gym and spa onsite. So there was definitely things onsite that you could do if you didn’t feel like leaving hotel. Everything about this place was great! Will definitely be booking here again if we ever return.

Hotels by IHG … as good as always Spacious rooms with good interior. I loved the lounge at the first floor and “happy hours” for cocktails there🍹 The swimming pool is not big. The gym is at the same floor with swimming pool and has a great panoramic view and separate room for yoga. Wanted to try the Hotel’s spa but bookings were full for the next 2 days.. so if you want to enjoy spa there I recommend to book it in advance.

Smart hotel with great facilities. Location is a bit of a walk to the night markets but still manageable. Top notch staff who go beyond to make our stay so memorable! Best breakfast buffet ever!

I stay at this hotel every time i go back to Laos. I enjoy the facilities that the hotel has to offer. The room is nice and clean and everything works well. The main feedback that I would like to give to this hotel is about the front office team. They don’t have the customer service skills I would expect for such a big chain hotel like IHG. I arrived at the hotel, walked to the check-in desk and the front office agent did not greet or say a word to me at all! I had to awkwardly say hi to him and tell him that i’m here to check in. I’ve been to so many places and stayed at so many IHG hotels and never felt so unwelcome before. That morning was a quiet morning, there were no other guests in the queue. I just feel like for the price and the reputation of IHG hotels, Crowne Vientiane front office team is below the standard. The F&B and the spa teams were very lovely. I really enjoyed their hospitality. I did provide this feedback to the duty manager before i check out. Hopefully, they will address the issue with their front office team.

Location wise... Had a great experience staying here the room is clean, and the breakfast is superb 🥂 good customer service and we are accommodated very well with all the things we needed during the stay... Visited for an afternoon drink and light refreshment in the restaurant/bar on the first floor. Their house Club Sandwich rules as does the service. Not surprising for a 5 Star property which mostly lives up to that rating

Used as quarantine hotel. Beds are soft and comfortable. Menu is exceptional. Provided desk and chair is comfortable. Internet is just passable. No outside noise. Staff are willing to help with any request.

As you enter this hotel you can feel the western touch. Its so has a nice atmosphere. The receiption was highly recommended, friendly and cool

I stayed 3 nights 4 days. They always try to help me. Breakfast can be chosen according to your taste, and all spaces are clean. The cost is a bit high compared to other hotels, but the service they provide is well worth it. Amenities are enough. The one thing that i was uncomfortable is the lift is not working well.(1 is blocked. The card scanner was out of service with each lift)

The best hotel in Vientiane that I have stayed in. Excellent food, very capable staff, a fabulous coffee and doughnut. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it with me 🤣

Stayed here our last trip and this place is beautiful and worth the price. Food was delicious, room was comfortable, security was great and i loved the live band. Do not get your laundry washed, it costs an arm and a leg, other than that I'll definitely stay there again!

This is our second time staying here as we have to come to Laos to renew our Thai visas. The staff here are amazing and have made our stay both times just wonderful. The food is great and the spa is wonderful. The kids enjoy the pool and it’s easy to eat lunch and dinner at the cafe attached to the pool. We travel a lot and I’ve been so impressed with this hotel.
