THE BEST hostel I’ve stayed in so far in 4 months of travelling. AMAZING free dinner every other night really feels like a family vibe when you’re there. I would recommend this hostel to anyone and any type of traveller, they even had families with young children staying here at times all was very wholesome.

What a wonderful and comfortable place it was! The balcony offered a picturesque view. Although there was some mess in front of the house upon my arrival, they promptly cleaned it up the following day. The breakfast was delicious, albeit simple. I was served a sandwich with two fried eggs and salad inside, but there were no fruits or oatmeal with milk. I do have a few suggestions for improvement. It would be great if they could add hooks on the walls inside the rooms and provide a mirror. Additionally, there were some issues with the shower holder in the bath and water pressure in the system that need attention. I would have loved to extend my stay, but unfortunately, the place was fully booked, which required me to check-out. However, during my stay at another hotel, I reached out to Casa Hostel for help in purchasing a train ticket, as foreigners are unable to pay for it directly. They went above and beyond, assisting me and buying the ticket without any extra fees. I truly appreciate their exceptional service. The staff at Casa Hostel genuinely aims to make your stay enjoyable, and such a customer-centric approach is quite rare in Laos. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone!

Best hostel we've stayed in in two month of travelling! It’s a really cute small hostel with a family vibe. Every two days there is a free family dinner which is great! The Breakfast is also very delicious. The owner and staff were always really helpful and friendly with any questions or problems. It’s just the perfect place to stay if u are in Luang Prabang!

We loved it here, probably our favourite accommodation so far! It's a very social place and everyone is so friendly. There was breakfast offered every morning and dinner every second day but there was no pressure to eat there. Such good value for money and it was quiet and safe.

I went tipsy bowling at 11:30PM with Billy the owner's brother, and other travellers. One of the highlights of my trip! Edit: I was surprised that this place is owned by a fellow Filipino. They promote sustainable living. They lend flasks for free so tourists won't have to buy water bottles all the time. A good breakfast is included in the booking. They offer free good dinners on some days. This place is such a score. The best! A fellow tourist was ravaging the kitchen making his own meal as if it was his own, and that's a good sign for me. He obviously felt so at home. It was fun to watch!

Such a nice hostel! Billy and the rest of the staff are always smiling and super nice. Walked in the first day in the middle of the family dinner, before I even checked in I had met and chatted with everyone in the hostel. Dormitories are pretty basic but they are very transparent about it from the moment you book and there is a real homey vibe in this hostel which will make you want to stay longer anyway. Thanks for everything : )

Being in La casa hostel was a really great experience and a onde that we bring in our heart. The entrance to the hostel is trough Billy's (the manager) smile and laught. Since the beginning he is going to make you feel comfortable and at home. 3 times per week there is a family dinner which means Billy is going to cook for all the people that is in the hostel and the ones that are arriving, creating a space for travellers to know each other's. We are really glad for this experience, for getting to know Billy and some other friends we made here :) Really recommend it
