Two days and one overnight in this place. We over-night in one Guesthouse just a stone-throw to this unique museum architectural Building. Unfortunately, it was weekend and it was closed. So we did other thing to do to visit one ethnic group in one remote village.

Appealing architecture, but today during posted hours of being open, it is closed. Likewise, Tourist Authority office on another day. This dusty town has not seen farang tourists more than two persons in the last three years. Or so I am told

Good, if small museum. Plenty of info about local ethnic groups and their style of dress including pictures and actual costumes. There is more upstairs but I found it much less interesting and less well explained. Information is presented in perfect English and in Lao.
