This restaurant is sensational! Easily the best contemporary cuisine that I experienced whilst travelling Laos. I was anticipating mediocre hotel food but 3 Merchants is the exact opposite. Amazing service, modern venue and huge menu. The food was so good! Loved it

One of the best restaurants i have been in my life. Especially the 9 course dinner super special and worth every penny. But also the other dishes were so special and tasty. I wish i could find such a good restaurant were everywhere I travel.

I had a very good meal here (by Lao standards. Hence, the 5-star rating). Very good execution. I went for their degustation menu (menu changes every now and then). Big portions, so come prepared. Great value for their food. And please just opt for their wine pairing to go with your meal. For people who can't eat much, I suggest you go for the smaller degustation menu, or just order from their a la carte menu.

We chose the luncheon three course special. I had the Coconut Poached Chicken Salad, which was delicious. She who must be obeyed has the Thai Fish Cakes, which were also delicious. For main I had the Sausage on a bed of Sweet Potato. This is very tasty but there is far too little. The boss had the Tom Yum Burger which was sensational. For dessert we each opted for the Apple Crumble, which was yummy. The service was exquisite. The house wine, a delight. We had a wonderful lunch. An altogether wonderful experience

We had dinner here recently. The food and service were both impeccable. As a restaurant owner myself, I can honestly say there was not a single thing that wasn’t perfect. On top of all that, the total cost was less than the tip would have been for the same level of quality in the US. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a hotel restaurant, so the atmosphere is good and the food is delicious Steak tastes good, but the meat was so burnt that I cut off the burnt part and ate it It's expensive, too

Great restaurant, great food. I've been here for lunch and for the many-course tasting menu. Both are fantastic. The three course lunch specials change frequently and are always amazing -- lots of great food, I really enjoy eating here. Great place to meet and treat others for lunch. Service is great and lunch is affordable. I recommend 3 Merchants to lots of visitors to Vientiane and they've all raved afterwards about the meals they had. Highly recommended.

We ordered the lunch set menu at three merchants. For the Entree, the tuna nicoise salad disappointed as we expected fresh cooked tuna, but it had a fishy, canned taste with a small quantity. However, the main dish, tilapia fish with mango sauce, was excellent and the only one worth the price. The salmon poke bowl had non-fresh cooked salmon with cut vegetables and fruits. the dish was too normal with a small quantity, leaving us disappointed. Desserts were okay but nothing special. The interior and plating were satisfactory, and the staff were kind and efficient. Despite reading positive reviews about the dinner course menu, my lunch experience didn't entice me to return. While the food wasn't bad, I expected more from the best-rated TripAdvisor restaurant in Vientiane. We paid about 280k Kip (13 euros) per person. I think it would be better to choose an à la carte menu with a good amount of tasty food instead of the lunch set.

The lunch set menu here is surprisingly affordable. The flavours and presentation are top notch, creatively combining the best of western and pan Asian cuisine, with dishes served by courteous staff in a chic setting.

We had a really great experience at 3 merchants. High quality food, would highly recommend the Fish with Tamarind Sauce, Lobbster salad and steak. Great ambiance, perfect for small family gathering, business meeting or romantic dinner Most Importantly, superb service! The staff (Ms Lounny) helped us with the order selection and even surprised us with a cake after hearing that it is our grandmother birthday. Thank you Lounny! Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves there :)

Excellent place to have meal in luxury environment

Why oh why bring the appallingly sneaky practice of ++ prices to Vientiane?? An establishment at your level does everything to keep customer service at heart. So, why then, let your customers manually calculate the exact price of each dish?

Great food. Flexibility yo accommodate vegetarian & vegan needs greatly appreciated. Good & attentive service. Definitely worth another visit. Will do so. Well cone Crown Plaza!
