We had a great time in Hanoi! We were a large group and a lot of planning was needed to make sure the week went smoothly as possible. Simon was very professional and provided an itinerary for the week of our time in Hanoi. We enjoyed the walking food tour and the different excusions throughout the week. He was also able to accomodate our transfer to the airport even though there were over 8 different time transfers to the airport. Simon also checked with us to make sure we were on our way to the airport.

Simon is fantastic. He set up our entire week with great recommendations. The custom guided tours were exactly what we were looking for. Great private guides and drivers. When other touring folks were jumping on much larger busses with larger groups we had a personal driver and guide for only our group. Every detail such as great lunch spots and thoughtful local guides. Also we could not believe how Simon was always available for questions. We have used travel agents in other countries and NONE compare to Simon. We wish every country had a Simon for travel advice. Simon has an a very useful app that has your entire plan for organizing travel, meeting guides, knowing your specific agenda for the day.

We have just completed a 10-day family trip through Northern Vietnam with Travel Agent Hanoi, and I am happy to strongly recommend them. The organization before the trip was perfect. Simon listened and acted on our requests and ideas, but also helped us to gain the experiences we were looking for, through his team's excellent local knowledge and contacts. Communication, either by Whatsapp or mail, was always quick and easy. During the trip, everything went to plan and we were able to enjoy Hanoi, Tam Coc, Ha Long and Mai Chau in our own time but absolutely no stress. We were driven in comfortable Toyota Innova cars by friendly, punctual drivers, stayed in some lovely little hotels and had a great stay on our Ha Long ship. They were recommended by a family friend who had a wonderful holiday in Vietnam organised by their agency. This was our first time to Vietnam and Simon worked with us to provide the best experiences and quality hotels, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the holiday. It was great to have such personal service, he organised very comfortable transfers to all locations, local guides who were knowledgeable and friendly and hotels which were very comfortable. We used Simon from Travel Agent Hanoi to help us plan and organise a two-week family holiday around Vietnam, flying into Hanoi and making our way down the country. For our trip we wanted to have accommodation and transfers arranged, but the flexibility to do our own thing in each place, which was exactly what we got. Simon uses a great travel app, which has all the details day by day, and includes ideas and suggestions for things to see and do, plus links to his youtube videos, which was super useful. We had a good idea of where we wanted to visit in Vietnam but were struggling to pull it together. Finding Simon and Ngat at Travel Agent Hanoi was the game changer. This was our first time in Vietnam and the first time we have ever used someone else to plan our trips, we were a little apprehensive relinquishing control and all that, but those feelings soon changed. We had a 3 week trip organised by Travel Agent Hanoi and it was the best trip ever, every day worked like clockwork and if we had any worries or questions Simon was there on WhatsApp straight away. Our trip took us from the very north near the China border, to the very south of Vietnam, without doubt our 5 day bike tour of the mountains and valleys of the north was the highlight as the landscape was spectacular. Simon and his wife Ngat really know what’s good, when everyone was cruising on Halong Bay we went to Lan Ha Bay which was less crowded and only saw a few other boats but it was still the same amazing landscape. We did Hanoi and all the surrounding area, Hoi An (the ancient lantern town)which was beautiful. Although we are travelling for 4 month’s and had to stick to a budget, Simon’s choice of hotels were spot on and exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend Travel Agent Hanoi who have been absolutely fantastic.

The hmuong market was very special. You See a market off the people of the tribe ( hardly tourists.) And we enjoyed a day with Chie. She learned us How they deye here with the indigo and how to embroidery and wave. We had workshops with her !! So special 😃

We arrived in Hanoi thinking it would be easy to organise trips excursions etc went to a couple of travel agent shops boy it was like a minefield so many different trips so many variations we were totally confused but that night after a chance meeting with another couple they showed us their itinerary it looked very good they told us they had booked it through Travel Agent Hanoi and highly recommend them so next morning I gave them a call after discussing what we wanted to do and where we wanted to travel Simon said leave it with him he would come up with a package/itinerary. He’s knowledge of Vietnam is second to none he told us certain places we had suggested were in the rainy season so possibly give them a miss, and he came up with an itinerary travelling from north to south between us we tweaked it slightly but we both have got to say it was absolutely spot on all the places we visited all means of travel from cars train boat and plane were really great and we were always in very good hotels in great locations when in Hanoi you have got to have the street food tour with Ngat it was so good and at the end we had 1 of the best deserts ever. We really can’t thank them enough for such a personalised tour they kept in touch all the way through making sure everything was alright and if we had any questions they replied straight away we are just so glad we had that chance meeting that put us in touch with them So if your thinking of visiting Vietnam and haven’t booked anything yet please give Travel Agent Hanoi a try they will not disappoint

Excellent, personal service - highly recommend!!! We booked a 2 week break with Travel Agent Hanoi over Christmas and the service and quality we received was excellent. We were a family of 5 and we toured from Hanoi, out to Halong Bay, to Da Nang, Hoi An and down to Ho Chi Minh. Simon and Ngat booked the hotels in each of our tour locations - all were of great standard and you could tell that these hotels had been selected based on our requirements. Breakfast was included in all hotels and these were of high quality with Vietnamese and western options available. They also booked our overnight cruise in Halong Bay which was outstanding - Orchid Trendy was a trip highlight. We also booked a number of tours which were all really well organised - tour guides arrived on time, we were well looked after and tour information was really informative. Our favourite tour was Ngat's Hanoi Food Tour - where we tasted food that we'd have normally been too afraid to try - thank you Ngat for such an eye-opener! Flights and transfers were also included within the Travel Agent Hanoi service and all of these were as expected - all drivers picked up on time and were courteous and helpful. And on top of all this, Simon was always at the end of a WhatsApp - checking in regularly to make sure we were OK and everything was as expected. This really added a personal touch that you just don't get with any travel agent. So in summary would highly recommend - excellent quality of accommodation, travel and tours and a personal service you just don't get elsewhere.

My husband I recently went on our honeymoon to Vietnam and it was excellent. In our trip, we had 8 stops and it felt like we had just enough time to relax and also absorb the aura of our stops. The hotels and resorts where stayed where very nice and had amazing hospitality. I highly recommend Simon because of how seamless our trip was. Every driver, tour guide and event was on time. Whenever we had questions or concerns, Simon was reachable and quick to respond. His wife was also so sweet during her food tour in Hanoi. As a Vietnamese speaker myself, I’m not sure if would have been able to plan a trip this special and enjoyable! We were exposed to a lot of local food, cultures, and history that I did not even know about! I cannot recommend Simon enough!

We contacted this agent. We have given our requirements. He has given Itinerary which we did not like. So we asked him to change few location and plans and he has refused to give us plan because saying we can't meet his budget. This agent name is Simon and was very rude to us. Just to change plan his behavior was so aggressive. If travel agents can't take changes in our plan how can they give good plans to us. Before starting trip , this is the agent's behaviors. Think about when we land in Vietnam if something goes wrong.

I have booked three trips through Travel Agent Hanoi. Prior to that, I found booking transportation to be a headache in Hanoi (dropped calls, incorrect phone numbers, calls not returned, language barriers etc). Simon has been very professional, correct, and prompt in responding to my questions regarding prospective or upcoming trips. I have been very happy with the itineraries put forth by Simon, and he has promptly updated me with any changes or important information. He recommended some day trips, one being Tam Coc. I was very happy with the home stay he had recommended and arranged for me. On my Halong Bay trip, the Sapphire Cruise was very nice. I took another traveler's advice though and brought additional bottles of water since you only receive two complimentary bottles per room. The presentation of the food was top-notch, the cabins were very clean and comfortable, and the service was good as well. I'm looking forward to my trip to Sapa. I also appreciate how Simon of Travel Agent Hanoi has visited many of these locations and can speak of them first-hand.

Last year being new to Vietnam I booked an entire holiday through Travel Agent Hanoi and found it to be very well organised and fantastic value, so on returing to Vietnam I felt confident in booking a couple activities with them. I booked the food tour (daytime) and a one night stay in Halong Bay, I had done both of these previously but was travelling with a friend who was visiting Vietnam for the first time. Ngat's food tour was excellent and for reasons that I dont fully understand I enjoyed it more this time than the first, possibly because it was day time and places were not as busy. Halong Bay was every bit as good as the first trip and you are made to feel quite special by the crew on these boats. We chose the Sapphire Lan Ha 2 Day/1 night cruise and the boat was great, very spacious and cabins have large bathrooms (with Jaccuzi) and balconies. The app that Simon and Ngat send to customers is also brilliant as it is a constant reminder of what to expect, without having to print off copies. I would have no hesitation in recommending Travel Agent Hanoi to anybody visiting Vietnam.

In October 2018 I planned to travel to Vietnam for a short holiday in March 2019 to visit a friend in HCMC, from there we made plans to travel north to Hanoi and surrounding attractions. Due to work load etc i didn't have the time to put together plans, so from watching youtube videos i was put onto Travel Agent Hanoi... I can now say i do not regret this move... From the first moment I contacted Simon and Ngat they were able to set my mind at ease with setting up a full itinerary which met our budget... They really went all out for us.. Our trip consisted of, few nights stay in Hanoi City Center and a wonderful food tour which was held by Ngat and was a fantastic greeting to our stay. A nights stay on a cruise boat at the beautiful Ha Long Bay (food included), A day trip to Tam Coc and two days trekking (one night in homestay) at the beautiful Sa Pa Rice fields. Everything in the itinerary was hand picked by the Travel Agent Hanoi Team and all Transfers where included, we simply just had to walk out of the hotel and we where lifted and laid... Simon and Ngat where in constant contact with us throughout our trip via e-mail and whatsapp recommending restaurants and sights to see in the free time we had.. All in all they made what would have been a pain in the back side to organise a complete dream and i do believe by booking through Travel Agent Hanoi we saved quite a bit of money doing so... I highly recommend these guys if your travelling anywhere in Vietnam... i will be sure to give them a shout soon for my next trip to Da Nang and Hoi An.

Firstly, I think it's important to state that my husband and I (50+ yrs couple) are experienced travellers. Usually we prefer to organise an independent itinerary ourselves and we always do extensive research before we travel. This also means we have a lot of experience booking certain trips with local agents. We decided to contact a travel agent to book our Ha Long Bay cruise because our dates and itinerary in Vietnam meant the cruise fell just after the TET holiday and over Valentines Day. We understood this was a busy time so we wanted to make sure we got a good boat well ahead of our UK departure date. I found having a native English speaking contact based in Vietnam a definite advantage. My requests were easily understood and Simon wasted no time in sorting out plans and responding to emails. In fact it was so easy to converse (incl. via WhatsApp), my husband and I ended up booking the street food tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. Simon's lovely wife Ngat was the guide and it was a pleasure to spend a few hours in her company and benefit from her local knowledge.
