The shop keeper was listening to an alt-right podcast while I was there, which made me pretty uncomfortable. Normanby News & Lotto purports to be an inclusive and LGBT+ friendly space, but with a podcast like that playing over the speaker, I think I’ll go elsewhere next time.

Best newsagent in Melbourne , in fact best newsagent I’ve ever been to. Great selection of gift cards , got everything a newsagent should have and more. And Wilbur the adorable cat is the icing on the cake. This guy never fails to deliver! 👌🏼 Why those of you who left two or three star reviews for this place is beyond me, perhaps you’re mostly just grumpy, negative people in general to feel the need to do that or maybe you were just having a bad day, but either way shame on you , SHAME! BE BETTER!

What a nice surprise to find such a gem of a newsagent. Gorgeous candles and terrariums and succulents. Fantastic personalised service and an awesome mascot in Wilbur the cat. I didn't notice any 'far right' podcasts playing, but in this day and age 'far right' means anything a feeble minded person disagrees with and as I'm a tolerant adult it wouldn't sway my patronage of an excellent newsagent/gift shop.
