Apon arrival I was ignored, and dismissed, when I received my fish and chips it was evident the fish was frozen, the batter was soggy and the oil clearly hadn’t been changed in months, it’s disappointing my family vacation was ruined due to the sour staff. Won’t be returning ever again my kids are currently in tears

Overpriced, and was given disrespectful service, for supporting the local fish and chipper. Is it to much to ask for a reasonable portion of chips

Oh my god……..I can’t tell you how good these fish and chips are!!!! Some of the best F&Cs I’ve ever had, with a sneaky beverage while I waited. What more can you ask for? Please support these guys and make sure they never shut their doors!!

What is better than fish and chips on the beach? That's right, nothing! A load of battered and salty goodness while lapping up the waves was the best. Even random kids came up for a bite when our store caught meal slapped them in the nose. Even the fresh, shore caught squid couldn't get an eye when this feast was around. Which surprised us all!

Chips here are awesome 👌. Definitely a 9/10. Flake is fantastic, 8/10, potato cakes are a 7/10, would love to say the steak sandwich is 8/10. Would highly recommend steak sandwich if new to the area. Overall the place ranged from a 8/10 to 9/10. Pop down if ya in the area and looking for a place to eat. Highly recommended.

Good quality food across the board at a price that seemed fairly reasonable. We had a large group and sat outside. The staff were all friendly as well. I'd come back here again next time we're in the area.

The Wooli General is a quality local fish and chip joint. We came here for Sunday lunch and we’re served very quickly. There is minimal seating indoors, however they have several large tables outside and it is located a short walk from the beach. Would definitely come back for one of their excellent burgers!

The Wooli Burger was one of the best 'The Lot' burgers from a fish and chip shop I've had. Chips are great. We had a group of 12 and pulled some tables together outside and our food came very quickly.

BEST FISH AND CHIPS. So I was told while I was working on the island that the Wolli general has the best fish and chips I thought that's a big call when the co op is over the water at San Remo. But when you get told off many island locals and even San Remo locals you give it a try woow what awesome fish and chips and great family feel customers service.

ordered two fish, the white and blue (both recommended), and were cooked to perfection, with crispy edges and tender flesh. The scallops were also fresh and perfectly seasoned. also ordered a kids Fish 'N' Chips meal, which came with two small fish, as well as a generous amount of chips. Chips were fresh and tastes just right. All in all, the service was excellent, the food was amazing, and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Came down to Phillip Island for a short break and grabbed a coffee here (soy latte) because it was the closest place doing coffees. Sadly, took a sip and had to throw it all out. Terrible. Went back to the holiday house and made a far superior nespresso. Haven't tried the food, which may be better, but won't be going back...

What has happened to this great little icon of a shop. Seems to me the owners have had enough. Hours for take away from 5pm to 7pm and will not take on orders after 6.30 the large once welcoming shop is now a small counter get in order if before 6.30 and get out what a joke. never again

I wished the fish (fresh & tasty, crunchy batter) would never end, & ate more of the chips (perfect ratio of crunch & soft) than is strictly necessary. Excellent food, definitely recommended. Will return.

Small quit place for a coffee/snack. Chips are fantastic. Battered hotdog special was great too. Didn't have any beverage options late in the evening, so suggest you drop in at least by afternoon or settle for something out of the fridge.

The best fish and chips I've had in a long time by far. We had a large group of 15, and they nailed the phone order. Crispy chips. Crispy batter on the flattys and grenadier, and not oily! All nicely seasoned, not too salty. Super soft fresh rolls on the fish burgers. Highly recommend.
