This place is amazing and worth a visit. A massive sprawling garden full of amazing sculptures, art, ponds, flowers, trees and picturesque scenery. We went on a Monday in December and we were basically by ourselves through most of the garden. Beautiful koi fish fill the ponds. This place is magical and promotes peace and contemplation. A lot of art from Africa and Asia influence that I did not expect.

Beautiful place, but poorly managed. Some of the staff are okay, but a lot of policies seem to exist just to make things unnecessarily difficult for visitors. You can't have dessert if you ordered fruit (even though they'll give you way more food than you ask for, so a lot goes to waste); one person in our group got the wrong ticket and they made her rejoin the really long queue to fix it, even though she was still at the counter; some vendors only take cash (not that unusual in Portugal, but still inconvenient); and the cranky train driver didn't want us to reboard, even though posted signs said it's hop-on/hop-off. It is a special place, but I can't recommend it for a low-hassle day out.

A truly amazing garden of Buddha sculptures and statues with endless walking trails. You can feel the peace and spirituality throughout the gardens. The tranquility will be ever present and the beauty will surround you on your journey. A great place to spend several hours strolling through the park-like setting and gaining a deeper understanding of Buddhism. A hidden gem in the hills of Portugal.

We didn’t know what to expect from a visit to Buddha Eden Garden. We were totally surprised, in a positive way. It is a huge park with impressive gardening and sculptures. It takes hours to stroll by foot, there is “train” service, too. We did both. We were surprised that the train operated with a diesel engine - fumes were not nice and do not fit into this park. There is a small shop and restrooms. This place is hard to describe properly, it need to visited - time well spent.

If you want to spend a day in slightly different scenery visit Buddha Eden garden. For 6€ entry fee you will transfer to Chinese garden. Good 90 min walk around to see all the area.

Fabulous. A wonderful collection and a VERY handy road train to get you back to the exit when you are worn out!

Beautiful and serene place to visit. Very hilly for a wheelchair user. Sculpture amazing, garden tranquil. Just what my soul required.

Good theme park, but some prices needs to be restored and taken care

Amazing place! Beautiful, full of interesting cultural and art objects. Also, this place has its own vineyards and winery with some very special wines that you can try for free and then buy for an affordable price.

Not my first visit. This is a place for contemplation. It got better since my last visit and based on what I saw will be even more beautiful. If you are able I would suggest ditching the little "train" which takes visitors to the high area. I would say that walking is a must in this wonderful place. So many walkways and sculptures to be admired. You will need a lot of stamina, but it's worth it. A last personal opinion, even though I love dogs I don't think there is a place for them, but if you have to keep it on the lead, and pick after it if that is the case.

Amazing sculpture garden with thousands of pieces displayed in a garden setting. We loved it and will be back. This should be a must see destination in Portugal. Better than most of the palaces and churches we've seen. Wonderful!
