My husband went to order and asked for their recommendations. We got tacos, nacho chips and enchiladas. It was honestly much better than I expected and pretty good. As usual in Texas, drinks are refillable ( much to my husband’s delight) and he raved about their very good prices. The taco meal comes with a cheese empanada and a bean taco as well

Very cozy Mexican restaurant. The food is reasonable and tasty. This place is one of the few places I know that make me feel like my money is worth it. I especially recommend Big Teka if you have two or more people as you can try many things with a great price🤤

(Also didn’t know I had to chop up my own herbs here ) also, ask your customers what kind of tortillas they want , I would have preferred flour over corn . Tortillas 3/10 Chicken noodle soup - has potential 4/10

Teka Molino has great food. The puffy tacos are delicious, not greasy. There were several tables that were not cleared off at least seven. When I went to ask for a to go container the man behind the counter did not acknowledge me, and when I asked him for one he handed it to me without uttering a word. Not the best customer service. Great food bad customer service.

Hubby wanted to try the place. Small space with a few parking spots in the front and a good amount in the back. Restrooms have no A/C. Order at the register, and they'll call your name as your food is ready. We got the queso and chips. It's probably the best item we ordered. Hubby liked the chips. Hubby also got soup and puffy tacos. They were ok. I got their Teka plate that had different types of items that they are known for. Within the plate: Mini puffy tacos. The meat in the mini was ground beef, I think. The mini puffy tortilla was good cause it was crispy but too little filling. Fried cheese, which was a taco of cheese. Nothing that wowed. A little tortilla cup of guacamole. Guacamole was good. Bean roll, which was a rolled taco of refried beans. Nothing that wowed. It all was a little too bland. We didn't get salsa. The food didn't come with it, and we should have asked maybe it would have given the meal more flavor.

There’s not much parking space. I do not know if there’s more parking in the back or not. When the order is place, don’t expect to get your food immediately. The food are cooked at the time of order. There’s no heat lamp that I could see. The refried beans is not too lumpy nor too smooth. It have the right consistency. The rice is not over cooked nor undercooked. When a place get extremely busy, for whatever reasons the rice is either overcooked or undercooked. The refried beans is not at the correct consistency. The puffy taco is very good. It is a little challenging to eat. There’s something about the puff tortilla that makes it tastier. The tamales and enchilada, are very good. They cab be cut with just a fork. No matter what one select on the menu, it’s all good. A friend suggested to get either the guacamole cup or bean cup or any of the “cup”. I forgot to get the guacamole cup. Next time, will get a “cup”. There’s no crowd of tourists, just locals! I hear that they also have a food truck.

Had some solid tacos today at Teka Molina. Bean and cheese. Carne guisada. Beef fajitas. Of the three, carne guisada was the best, although I feel they could have put some more meat in that bad boy. Fajitas had good flavor, but not tender. Bean and cheese was pretty good, but cheese was not really melted. Good, just not great. Staff was friendly and inviting.

I've always wanted to try this restaurant for lunch today and enjoyed the food and customer service. It has an " old school " feel as in somewhere I would have dined in as a child lolololol.

Got their hot sauce. It’s to die for….especially if you don’t have a gallon of water or beer! But seriously, it’s fantastic. Hot, yes. Wonderful, Yes! They need to market this at the grocery store.

This place is the exact Tex Mex experience we were looking for; friendly staff, excellent food, clean environment and reasonable prices. It’s hard to find this type of unique experience. When you look up Tex Mex places to eat this little gem doesn’t pop up. Instead you get places with nice patios, overpriced, mediocre food and pretentious clientele. The person taking our order told us the puffy tacos were there specialty so we decided to try something else. If there something else was delicious we’d come back for the puffy tacos. We ordered mole enchiladas and chicken fajitas. The mole was well balanced and the fajitas were very tasty! We’ll be back without a doubt. Thank you TM for keeping it real and serving great food!
