great food, great environment, and the best owner! i visited for the first time and was greeted by Kevin who was more than friendly and an absolute joy to be around. the food i ordered (Belgian waffle, turkey bacon, & cheesy eggs) were delicious and the lemon-ginger tea was good as well relaxing, artsy atmosphere inside as well. would recommend!

The art is wonderful! The good, not so much! I had the cornbread waffle, eggs scrambled with cheese. The eggs looked fake or perhaps carton, and what looked like chia seeds was pepper? I didn't eat

So delightful! I had the reuben and a side of tomato soup, both were simple and delicious with all the right flavors. As an added bonus, it was super reasonably priced and had a great turnaround time. I was able to walk in, eat a great lunch, and head out in under 30 minutes.

Got the jumbo shrimp salad sandwich and lemon ginger mint iced tea and it is some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Kevin and Bill are so wonderful. I will be coming back for sure. Excellent food, service, ambience and energy!! 10/10

Stopped in here for some breakfast and really enjoyed the whole experience. The staff was cool and the food was good. There's a decent sized art exhibit attached as well. Chill spot.

Fun cozy environment. The food was so good that you can’t tell what I had (cornbread waffles). I will definitely come back again!!

The music is urban, atmosphere is comfortable, the owner is local and formerly worked for the city, he is known. People who frequent are from the neighborhood. Food is delicious. Art work is eccentric. The founder, Nancy passed on from breast cancer in 2011.

The food is really good 😊 breakfast menu great. I meant a friend at the restaurant for lunch owner is nice then when I got inside to take pictures of the art 🖼. He goes off on me how was I supposed to know it was only for a MICA students. I mean where is the respect. He seems to be Bipolar. Overall great location and really good food.

Such a creative and warm environment to work from and have a coffee and breakfast food. Wonderful service, friendly staff, and really good homemade bread pudding! Thanks Kevin!

I lucked out. I meant only to “grab a cup of coffee” this morning casually on the way to Baltimore’s Penn Station to head home to nyc and lucky me for heading here. Good coffee, yes, yummy grits with cheese (my daughter had the tomato soup and grilled cheese) , relaxed homey elevated atmosphere with aninstallation of African textiles, patterns, color, and more. Also the adjoining gallery of MICA senior work was invigorating, inspiring.Thank you! …. Hope to be back !
