Used to think this surgery was the best but now they starting doing a telephone first come first served appointment based. As someone that travels to work this is a nightmare as trying to get through between 8.30-9 and driving then having to start work at 9 is about rediculous. The appointment based was way better when you could ring and get an actual appointment made rather than this rubbish now

Sat on hold for 30 mins to make a phone booking only to be told today is now booked out and I have to try tomorrow. Not able to book an appointment. Who on earth do these people think they are…? They can’t accept bookings? Our health can only be planned on a day-to-day basis? It’s not like patients will stand you up once we get a slot. It’s bad enough waiting 3.5 years for a basic dental checkup. This whole system is so deeply broken.

Nearly impossible to get an appointment. If you don't know the extension number you will never get an appointment, even if you call at 8:30am as soon as they open. Even when you call during the day for other appointments there can be 20+ people in the queue and they take an absolute age to get through them. Some of the doctors are very good but the appointment/phone system is really not fit for purpose at all. I dread to think how many older people can't get in touch at all.

Very hard to get through, fortunately I am local to the surgery. My daughter however who works in Belfast has trouble when she needs to contact. She cannot always ring at 8 30am and by the time she gets through all slots and phone calls are gone for the day

Waited 1 hour 3 minutes only to be told emergency appointments only, call back next week. I then call Benenden GP service where my call is answered within a minute. Within two hours I've had my call with the Benenden doctor and my prescription issued. This illustrates in a small way the difference between sufficient and insufficient levels of funding.

Absolute disgrace of a place! Tried numerous times to get through and after numerous attempts eventually got a very rude receptionist. She had no compassion whatsoever and informed me that I had been given the wrong information previously! Pathetic stay clear and go somewhere else.

Refused to prescribe me insulin when they have type 1 diabetes which means I would die without insulin. Complained to the practice manger and received no official response. My 82 year old mother has twice been left unattended when she had a chest infection although she has asthma and COPD. I had to go via Benenden to get treatment for her. I don't even feel safe let alone cared for at Springhill.
