Quirky coffee shop come restaurant. I arrived at 2pm and there wasn't much left over from the lunch menu which was limited to begin with. Salad selection appeared tired and dried, disappointed as the table was not properly cleaned down. Waiter was very helpful which redeemed the place a bit

Had a lovely Christmas dinner. Very tasty. Only problem for me was the veg and roasties were a bit undercooked and firm. Turkey and Ham succulent and tasty gravy. Would have given a full 5 stars had it not been for the veg and roasties.

Great food, lovely atmosphere in what's basically a coffee shop/cafe

Coffee is reasonably good. Kids meal is served in a first aid kit....kids seemed to like it. Mine thankfully was on a plate. Service was friendly and relaxed and speed of service was fine. Value for money for what we had was excellent and overall I count this as a positive experience. Toilets are very nice, far in excess of what you would expect.

Delicious stew with wheaten bread. Many other great dishes. Amazing meringues, freakshakes and scones. Fabulous breakfast menus and other choices, although maybe somewhat limited. There is evening opening and you can bring your own wine. An excellent choice in the town centre.

This was my first visit to The Coffee Doc, it wasnt a bad meal that I got for 2 people but for the price the portion I got in my own plate was very scarce indeed. It consisted of a small bowl of chips with an equally small burger. The place was fairly clean although the chairs looked like they could do with a makeover. The staff seemed friendly enough, unfortunately for a fairly expensive place you had to queue to place an order them you took your seats. Not a bad place maybe just a little light on the portion sizes.

Good service, happy and friendly. I got a stew and found it was very bland and tasteless. I thought it might have been a one off. I went back and got a lasagne and to my disappointment it was bland and tasteless again, too much pasta nowhere near enough mince and virtually no cheese. On top of that the top layer of what cheese was on it was crusted so hard it hurt my teeth trying to chew it. If i go there again i will stick to the hot drinks.

Staff extremely polite and efficient. Lovely warm and comfortable surroundings. Good selection of food - scones are to die for!!! Loved the quirky containers used for milk, sauces and cutlery. Would thoroughly recommend.
