Great Beach, lots of room to picnic. We walked the trails up the hills, was impressed with a great view on a great day. The water was calm enough, with people splashing in the water. A few kayaks and paddle boards further out.

Small clean sandy beach great for walking dogs. Toilets still in use in car park. Camped overnight in campervan for one night when couldn't find caravan site before dark, no trouble and was not asked to move.

A stunning stretch of beach nestled between the mountains, very clean, we spent several hours here watching the world go by but especially all the dogs running in and out of the sea

Stunning place. I have been here twice now and loved it. Joe and Roberta who own the Stable Stop are so friendly and knowledgeable about the Bay. It's just a beautiful spot - am hoping to take my granddaughter next week for a picnic for the full day and so in for a swim myself!!!

Triathlon Day. Giving it a 4 only as I had the most amazing race day. Thankfully temporary toilet block even male/female use same, I was glad there was something and clean in morning. No picnic tables I could see or seats. I'm sure when weather is better, like everywhere it is a good wee spot.

The facilities nearby were pretty decent, the beach itself wasn't incredibly packed despite it being a bank holiday. No trash on the beach, very clean, good parking areas.

Browns bay is definitely a jewel in our coastline beach is faIrly clean but not spotless. Their is a good path to walk your dogs and take a stroll with a loved one. Water is clear and not choppy so great for kids to play in. Sand is nice and white and great for picnics. The toilets were damaged last time there and massive queues to use a portable functional toilet. All in all a great area any time of the year and don’t forget apples for the resident donkey. I am part of a motorcycle group called biking adventures and routes Northern Ireland where we look for stunning places here in NI/ Ireland to share to the world. If you have a motorcycle come and join us and let me know how you found us.

This is a great little place that is nice to go to for a picnic on a good day, or even just to look out at the Sea what ever the weather. Unfortunately there is very little in the way of shops for refreshments, but a few miles drive away is the famous Rinka ice-cream parlour.

We always enjoy a drive to and walk at Brown's Bay. We also enjoyed a coffee and tray bake at the Stable Stop hidden away behind the hedge.πŸ™‚

Beautiful clean beach. Plenty of parking. Stanley loves sand, not so keen on noisy waves

We were very lucky to be staying right beside this beautiful beach for a weekend recently. One of the most gorgeous areas to swim in!

Went to meditate and do a cold water dip. The weather was amazing as was the beach. Browns Bay is only 35 mins from where I live and its only been my second time there. Will definitely be going again. 5 out of 5!

Great beach. Full of families and great for paddle boarding. There is a coffee van and a toilet block in the car park. You cross a small road and you are on the beach straight away. Children will need a hand to cross the road as it can get busy. The tide also seemed to come in quite quickly, so don’t leave your things close to the water if the tide is coming in. The Rhinka is nearby (drive past it) and great for an ice cream as an added bonus.

Stopped by for a swim. Yes it is possible to swim in northern Ireland. Be ready for the shock of the water temperature 🀒. Water and beach are very clean. Nice sandy foreshore with plenty of parking.
