I came here for the first time and the food was incredible! I will admit, it is a little pricey for its portion size, BUT the quality is incredibly worth it. I had the seafood plate and my partner had the bbq rib. The meat was so tender and fell off the bone. The seafood was cooked amazingly and the squid had such incredible flavour, it reminded me so much of Greece. The fruit frappes are so delicious and my ice chai was full of flavour. The icecream was great quality too. I will be coming back!

Went on a early Saturday morning, the place was really busy which is always a good thing. Food came out really quickly. The breakfast was what you expected I only wish the serving size was 30% larger then the place would be amazing!! Location: Great Vibe: Good Chia Latte amazing!!

Went for dinner and a drink and were quite impressed. I had the Beef Ribs which were probably the most tender meat I've ever eaten. The Mango Daiquiri was delicious. There is inside and outside dining with a view of the sunset. Highly recommend trying this place.

A very nicely situated spot, especially for checking out the sunset. My initial server was lovely but felt a bit uneasy as a solo diner when I only ordered two things when they were delivered, and possibly the most expensive coffee I've had for a while. Overall it is a really nice spot, and one of the only places around to get a coffee later in the day ☕️

Very popular restaurant on the cliff top near the Nightcliff pool. I ordered an Eggs Benedict which was $22. I was a little bit apprehensive about the price, however, it was a big serve and was cooked to my perfection. The coffee is also very good. The restaurant is usually crowded, so you need to get there early (or late). Eat inside in the airconditioning or outside. Outside is dog friendly, providing your dog is friendly. The view of the ocean is very good and probably has some spectacular sights at sunset. Service is very good and quick.

The Foreshore Restaurant & Cafe in Darwin offers a delightful dining experience with its prime location overlooking a serene pool. The menu, though a bit on the pricier side, aligns with Darwin's expectations. We ordered the iced coffee frappe, a mixed scoop of chocolate and coffee ice cream; and two kids meals - fish and chips and the Nutella pancakes. Food was ok, but nothing exceptional. The service was pleasant. Overall, the Foreshore Restaurant & Cafe is located well and a good place to relax in from the heat.

Loved the atmosphere of the place and a beautiful sunset. The coffees were nice and food was good in portion sizes. But wasn’t flavourful enough and missing seasonings. The staff who was at the counter was not very welcoming, no greetings and behaving rude. But the other staff were being nice and helpful.

Compliments to the chef! I visited and had the regular crispy skin barramundi on my first visit. It was prepared perfectly, and the vegetables that accompanied it were as flavoursome as the main event. I came back a week later and there was a special that was another version of the crispy skin barramundi with different veggie sides. Equally to die for. It is nice to eat dishes that are really considered on all fronts - I can tell someone here really cares about flavour and good cooking. I just wish I was staying in Darwin longer to try the rest of the menu! But I will be back. Location is incredible too.

It was a very pleasant visit The coffee .. well I had 2 of them it was so good! The food very tasty and well presented. Inside there is no internet reception- this can be viewed in many ways, but it did mean customers were talking to each other! The aircon could be cooler inside or maybe additional fans. Though I only sat inside as it was sweltering at the time, the decking outside is very pleasant to sit on when a breeze is blowing.

Good location and friendly staff. I only checked the lunch menu and not sure what dinner is like. Lunch was outstanding. Good BLT and the beef salad had a good slab of meat on it.

I always visited when I go for a walk in Nightcliff. It provides great meals and beautiful scenery whether it’s in morning, afternoon, or evening!

This was a lovely little cafe with a very cool Coastal vibe. I felt like I was somewhere north of Sydney, maybe even Byron bay. We only came here for coffee and cake. The pecan pie was amazing and probably the best I’ve tasted. My daughter was happy with the lemon meringue pie, and my son loved the raw hot mint. However I didn’t like my flat white, the soy milk that was used was too strong and the coffee was not hot enough- more lukewarm. My son’s chocolate milkshake was overpriced and he didn’t like it that much, the expresso protein shake was nice but not cold enough, and my daughter loved her hot chocolate- was well priced.

👍🏻 - beautiful atmosphere and view 👎🏻 - the food (steak sandwich and chicken burger) we ordered recently tasted very bad, the meat was hard and almost inedible 👍🏻 - however, the food that my other friend and i ordered (lamb chops and pork) were seasoned great. 👍🏻 - this cafe/restaurant is one of our to-go places 👍🏻 - staff and chef are amazing

If you want big portions, good ambiance, fast service you will appreciate this place. They have good coffee too and you can tag along your lil fur baby always.💜💜💜

I had a disappointing experience at the Foreshore restaurant. Despite booking two weeks in advance and confirming our reservation, they called us 10 minutes before our rescheduled time to inform us they were closing early due to a low customer turnout, especially on a public holiday. This last minute change forced us to search for an alternative, and we ended up celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday in a place we didn’t like, ruining the night. While I understand the impact of a low business and the holiday factor, the sudden closure and lack of consideration left a negative impression. So I wouldn’t recommend it for special occasions, perhaps it’s better suited for last minute breakfast.

Good place to enjoy dinner with friends and family. Foods are ok, and not many choices.

10/10 always at the Foreshore cafe. Come every month (at least) & a favourite of our family. Nothing better than coming down after work for the crispy Barra and a nice glass of wine while the sun sets. Coffee great, food great, dinner great. Staff great. Live music tonight GREAT. Great location close to the beach! Fresh basic cafe food with a sunny buzzy atmosphere. Can recommend the fresh juices to rehydrate in the Darwin heat!

The food is generally nice and fresh but the fish for the fish and chips can be inconsistent, sometimes the batter is burnt. The takeaway container is not ideal, they use cardboard boxes where the dressing soaked into the cardboard, chips and fried stuff makes everything soggy. The atmosphere is great, but can be very hot before sunset.

We came here to celebrate our last night in Darwin and we weren’t disappointed. The restaurant is located next to the public swimming pool and right along the Nightcliff Foreshore walk. Great place to watch the sunset or grab a bite before walking about 10 min down to enjoy the amazing view at the jetty. We ordered a variety of fish options, all of which were excellent. The service was friendly, but a little on the slower side. Overall, highly recommend!
