Very interesting and unique location. The exhibition is well preserved and with a decent amount of information. Especially the remaining Canon and related bunker is amazing. The entire area has a lot of remains and clues from the past, which they uncovered and documented.

Very impressing and a very friendly and informative Team. We came just after 2pm fearing they were closing but luckily they were open until 6pm and opening times should now be corrected. I can absolutely recommend - and I hardly review anything on google. We were there on a monday afternoon. Plenty of parking available and easy to find. Hope to come again soon and explorere the premises when it‘s not raining. Entrance on the premises is free you only pay for canon/museum

Great place. Sadly, museum was closed today, but outside its still exciting. I wonder if there are underground tunnels connecting all objects here together...

1,5-2,5 Stunden sollte man einrechnen

“Det var Helt Kanon”! The canon museum and Møvik fort were more than I expected. This place has lots of history, with a majestic, panoramic view of the North Sea and surrounds, paired with well-kept museum installations. The museum’s self-guided tour included a thorough guide in English. It’s easily accessed by car too, with a parking lot about a 3-5 minute’s walk from the museum and fortification area.

Really interesting museum about WW2. Great view too. I just sort of wished there would be a bit more detailed information about the things. Adult prices 110NOK.

We really enjoyed our visit at the Cannon Museum. We recommend it to everyone interested in history. The staff was super helpful and told us a lot of extra facts. The whole facility is really big and offers an indoor prt with museum as well as outdoor round walk. You get great material that explains a lot of the artefacts in detail.

Beeindruckender Ort.

Very nice museum. We visited on the day we took the ferry, so we didn't have time to do the whole hike outside. Impressive and we'll documented. Helpfull staff.

It is a must see attraction if you like World War II history and if you are in Norway. It is free to visit, you only have to pay (100NOK) if you want to see the exhibition under the cannon 2. You can easily spend there half day or more. Highly recommended.

Cannon have some new colours, there's newly built info&ticket center. There's a short hike around area. Good views from the area, worth visiting even if you're not interested in war artifacts. Ticket price 100kr.

Amazing place, wonderfully maintained and the info on each exhbit is very well explained. Just wish the gun in the main casement was there, that would have been awesome.

Went after closing hours but was still able to look around the installation, just not inside the cannon itself. Cool walkway on top of the bunker for great veiws. Epic if you like history. Northen flank of the Atlantic wall, with a huge cannon amongst other cool stuff.

Sat up on the high ground this huge Canon was 1 of 4 built by the Germans during WW11 to command the shipping routes around this area, and were part of many stretching around the whole coastline. It consists of a whole network of tunnels with metal tracks for taking ammunition from 1 gun encasement to another, which you can walk through and see also rooms for living quarters, ammunition, shells and all sorts of equipment needed to run the operation of the huge guns. No use here for disabled access though. Also quite a few steps etc about. There is a small cafe, come shop and info centre.

Very cool historical site and an excellent spot for a hike, picnic or stroll. The museum is home to part of the Atlantic fortress build by the occupying German forces during wwII. Now on evenings with clear skies it is one of the best spots in the area to catch the setting sun. Bring your own food/drink as there's no service on site, and please take it with you when you leave.

A huge museum! Be prepared to spend some time here. Some of the buildings on the map have been razed, which caused some confusion initially.

If you are anyhow interested in the history of WW2 then visit this place. The construction is unbelievable. All the effort and human work added to those constructions. Both architectural and engineering point of view it's amazing.
