A very cozy and relaxing place close to busy La Paz. Cool location just at the edge of a valley/gorge. Good for overlanders, campers or if you want a tiny hut to yourself. Very good value for money. The owner is super nice and helpful. Facilities are very nice and clean and it's very welcoming to hang out. A place to get stuck at. Thanks so much for this oasis in the busyness of Bolivia:-)

I’d love to stay here again! The people are so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a beautiful tipi after our Bolivian cooking class and roasted a few marshmallows on the campfire. The views from the camp are breathtaking and the sky at night is so beautiful. The hammocks were really comfortable and perfect to chill in

Go visit it 👍 The house we lived in was a little run down but still worth it. The mountain and valley views were amazing. Such nice and friendly staff.

Beautiful and peaceful place, close to the Devil's Tooth -Muela del Diablo. Administrators and employees are native English speakers. Recommend this place for a weekend stay of just a day.

Wonderful place to get out of the city, relax and be with nature. Wonderful views of the mountains, the stars, the sunsets. The cabins and tipis are very comfortable, the place is warm, the shared bathrooms are clean, the shared kitchen is rustic but well equipped. There's a store to buy anything you need. Breakfast is included and great. Most of all, the service is exceptional, everyone is very kind and attentive. Very worth it! I would highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this place. I broke my ribs a few days before coming here from a cycling accident. It put a dent into my travel plans. I wanted to rest up in a nice spot while I deal with the first week of swelling and bruising. This was the perfect spot for me. I truly loved it. There are dogs to play with, nice walks nearby and plenty to see and do if you choose. I mainly relaxed and it was perfect for me. *NOTE* Their card machine does not accept Mastercard and will likely reject any foreigner debit cards. The owner needs to update this machine. In the meantime, bring cash.

It is a wonderful place, if you visite Bolivia you have to be there. The communication is fluency and the staff is wonderful. I was looking for a place that I can cook, be around nature, with a great view, romantic, quite, lovely, with tasty food and Colibrí has been perfect because it has everything that I wanted I was for my 19th monthsary with my boyfriend, and sure we will be back. We visited "La muela del diablo" a hard walk but a good adventure

Fantastic site, lovely staff with great facilities like hot showers and good, well supplied kitchen area. Love the fires and they supply firewood and marshmallows! Delicious breakfast with a view too! Highly recommended and worth a visit.

I haven't been to Colibri camping in over a decade and I literally think about this place (and of course people) all the time. Nested in the beautiful Andes, this place is run by the most incredible and inspiring family. If you are looking for an experience of a lifetime ... I HIGHLY recommend you staying there!

I recently had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Colibris Eco Lodge and camping. Exceptional location in the wilds of lower La Paz. The property is wonderfully thought out by the passionate owners Rolando & Emma a delightful Bolivian / British couple. They take great pride in a quality product and offer a variety of accommodations from simple Teepee tent rooms to well appointed houses suitable for families and even camping spots for the more intrepid. The property, grounds and amenities are kept in an impeccable condition, the showers and bathrooms are probably the most modern and clean that I have encountered in Bolivia. There is a well equipped kitchen and b-b-q area which guests are free to use. The breakfast which is included in most room rates is excellent; fresh and prepared with great care. There are numerous shaded seating areas for relaxing. Fire-pits and firewood are available. A tempting food Menu along with wines, beers and juices is on offer and prepared and served by attentive and very pleasant and welcoming staff. Colibris is a fantastic base to escape from hectic La Paz, but also has very easy access to the City via numerous minibuses or a combination of minibus and the truly astounding cable car system. Don't hesitate you will have a wonderful time :-)
