Me and my wife have been going to this resort for years and have always trued different places to eat as I'm a fussy eater. As I'm a Muslim I'm restricted to pizza or tuna which I love. It just so happens that my wife asked about Halal meat and was told that the chef was actually a Muslim himself whom we both met and was told to give them a days notice and he would get the halal meat and prepare what meal I wanted. All I can say is WOW both my wife's and mine were delicious. We stayed there for 2 weeks in early September and went back twice. Thank you for putting a halal sign in the front of the specials menu list for others to see. Thank you to the staff and a massive thanks to the chef. C u soon.

It was tasty, the personnel was very friendly. We got a drink for free and they packed our food to go.

I write this review as a professional chef with many years experience in the industry cooking in all manner of places from small pubs to rosette winning restaurants. We ordered the "home made" spaghetti bolognaise and it was some of the worst food I've ever eaten and most certainly the worst meal I've ever paid for. It came to us cold, and any chef worth their salt should understand the dangers of improperly reheating already cooked ingredients. This was brought up with the wait staff who sent it back to the kitchen to get a "fresh dish". I asked them only to put it back in the microwave that it was clearly cooked in, they insisted we would get a fresh plate. We didn't, and I'm not even entirely certain it was put in the microwave, From the fact that it was hotter on top than anywhere else I feel it was just put under the pass lights for a few minutes instead out of spite. We ate it regardless as we were hungry and it was foul. There was no trace of carrot, onion, or garlic, it was underseasoned if seasoned at all which I find ironic for a restaurant next to the sea, you had to go out of your way to avoid getting salt in it. The tomato sauce was worse than that from canned food, I've worked with and mentored young chefs with mental disabilities that have been capable of producing excellent quality dishes so to be served something like this poor is frankly an insult. To make matters worse the staff then spoke openly about me and my partner and insulted us as they were stood next to our table. "It's okay, he's English and he doesn't speak Spanish" but unfortunately for yourselves I do infact speak excellent Spanish, I was chosing not to make my partner who isn't bilingual feel more comfortable. Avoid this restaurant like the plague, which you may actually should you choose to put their food inside you. Yours sincerely the "stupid Englishman"

They have very good food and nice personel. Good restaurant to go at around 8-9 PM. Lokal is small but very climatic. We also got some free vodka shots and kids got lolipops. I definetly recommend.

Very enjoyable meal, tacos could have been alittle hotter but tasted great burger was massive definitely a and prawns were really enjoyable. Service was OK.

Friendly staff. Tapas for 2 looked good and was tasty. Overpriced wine. Vina sol for €19 and a 50 cent bottle of water for 2.50. Would eat here again but not order water

Starter wasn't as described on the menu. Staff very apologetic and took 50% € off that course. The rest tasted great. The place is very popular and I think they have crammed in too many seats to accommodate this. You feel like you are eating with your neighbours. Would benefit with fewer tables.

me and my girlfriend visited during our holiday , staff are extremely pleasant , service is lovely and food was amazing 👏 quality food at a good price point, inside has great atmosphere with air conditioning for when it's hot , or enjoy outside seating with a nice view of the beach

A great find near the harbour. Great food, we had garlic prawns and garlic mushrooms done the Spanish way in olive in a cast iron dish, served sizzling hot. Stylish restaurant with attentive, friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Spaghetti (house style with chicken and meat) was good. Partner had Chicken Tikka Masala, which was not so good - chicken did not taste fresh, rice was undercooked. We mentioned this when asked how it was. We were then left sitting there for 20 minutes… we were willing to give coffee / dessert a go… but no one came back to us. I went up to bar to pay the bill (igic charged on top of advertised prices??) and left. Unacceptable experience, can’t see them winning much repeat business with this customer service recipe. Fran - get a hold of this mess before it bankrupts you.

Had the Iberico ham bruschetta. Average. The meat on the mixed kebab skewer was tender but small portion. Extra charge for sides. Chips ok, sauce was just gluggy gravy..tried pepper then mushroom..no flavour to either. Mediocre service..staff busy chatting to each other and more interested in getting people in the door.

We visited Fran’s after passing a few times and seeing it often popular. Myself, my sister and my mother were approached, and staff were friendly. From the onset, the tables were found to be extremely close together, causing staff to have to move furniture to fit us in which was very awkward. We ordered three soft drinks, and were offered water without being advised of the cost of such. €2,50 a bottle! An additional total of €7,50 to our bill, which we would have saved elsewhere, as we would not have been charged. My mother, who has specific dietary requirements, requested a bowl of plain spaghetti with a side of garlic bread. This was made out to be an issue, feeling as though we were certainly being talked about in a language we didn’t understand, and which we resulted in being charged a shocking €10,90 for a bowl of plain spaghetti! I ordered the chicken kebab, and was offered sauce alongside it, without being told it came with an extra charge of €1,50 for a small side of aioli. The portion was extremely small, and was basic. A skewer of 5 pieces of chicken and the smallest pieces of peppers, along with a handful of fries. We also ordered the chicken caprese with basil, which came with a questionable appearance, overcooked chicken covered in a creamy sauce & small tomatoes thrown over it - not a chicken caprese by any means. Following this we ordered a banana split & 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream. Our total came to nearly €75 for a below average meal and uncomfortable service through being asked several awkward and pushy questions. Unfortunately we would not return, and believe this restaurant’s focus should shift towards improving the quality and experience of their food rather than trying to get as many people through the door as possible.

We were directed to a table under the canopy that wasn't set. Seemed no big deal, as the others weren't either, initially. However, after we sat down, they began to set the other tables, but ours was left unset without even so much as a table cloth. We ordered the tapas plate for 2 persons. What we got was completely different than what was pictured on the menu: no jamón, no bread, no fish, etc. The fried rings we thought to be calamares (as one would expect from a tapas plate) turned out to be fried onion rings. Also, it was barely enough for the two of us. Our daughter ordered the spaghetti Bolognese, but was served Carbonara. Which they did change quite quickly after noting it. Afterwards we were seemingly ignored by the staff and they didn't even bother to ask if everything was alright and how the food was (as if they already knew what the answer was going to be).

Extremely dry meat you couldn’t chew. Pasta was overcooked and with not fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and the restaurant offered Bailey after the meal and some lollipops to the kids, but that is really the only positive I can say about this restaurant. It's a tourist spot restaurant where the kitchen puts no effort at all in quality food. I would avoid it. Only good thing was the big portions
