This was the first restaurant we saw after getting off the bus to Las Palmas from Telde, and we went inside thinking we'd get lunch, but we quickly learned that breakfast went on until 12:30, so we ordered from the breakfast menu. We were pleasantly surprised to see generous portions for such low prices! For about €4, I got tea, a glass of fresh orange juice, a Spanish omelette mini sandwich, and a bacon and cheese mini sandwich! Great deal, especially given that it's in a very tourist-filled location.

Good atmosphere and location but only so so food. The nachos and pizza were edible but not memorable. The service was good.

Average food and service however probably expected for 8 euro burgers. Still no excuse when it doesn't take much to grill the buns and improve the fillings and salsa etc.

Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich (toastie) with chips, toastie good, chips a little under cooked, but tasted good. Reasonably priced.

Such a good job. It is a traditional Irish pub. I felt like I was in Ireland.

Worst burger i have ever had, staff were not particularly friendly. After attempting to make my order in English the waiter kept pushing for me to order in spanish (which i do not speak at all). When ordering further drinks which we did in spanish (with the help of google translate) the waiter was funny and stated we should order in English. On the other hand their fries were particularly good.

Horrible Just arrived on a Sunday afternoon to an empty bar aside from one booth of two gentlemen. Despite the musty smell, its a rainy day and we thought a cozy irish coffee and a late lunch followed by a few pints with the mates who were on their way would be a nice Sunday plan. My partner and I sat down in an empty booth and the waiter quite gruffly told us the booth was saved for a larger group (mind you the booth across from us was only two gentlemen) and they were the only other patrons. The rudeness to which we were attended, not to mention that the bar was entirely empty aside from us shows that not only the service is terrible but that we dodged a bullet in this dive. Avoid this dump and head to Paddy's Pub in las canteras or the Irish Rover, where the 7 of us are currently merrily spending our hard earned money in a cleaner and better smelling atmosphere with friendlier, cleaner and better smelling staff.

My wife thinks it called McCarthy’s Gran. Which makes me laugh. The beer is cheap (it is Spain) and the menu of solid pub grub is well priced, solid fair. We came to sink a few beers after shopping, played card games, and nibbled on no frills hotdogs (cheap and good) and nachos (expensive and underwhelming). It’s a pub isn’t it. I like pubs.

Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced for town centre location. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and put the tv on for us so that we could watch the footy!

😐 3.5 / 5 Good food but a bit plain; the salad was a nice portion. Pricey, but nice views to the sea. Pleasant service overall. Alcohol free beer was great!
