I was charged 19 Eur for Calamari onions + fries. Not sure if the price for locals would be same. Upd: I walked in alone, asked for Calamari. After, my wife has come and tried the Calamari as well. They saw two of us are eating and made up the price. There is no way a portion would cost 19 Eur. I truly enjoy local places, but it's sad when tourists are treated this way. There's no menu, prices are made up upon how you speak/how many of you.

What a lovely people + ambiance + food. This place doesn't show top rated on the TripAdvisor or Google Reviews.. This is such a disgrace. We had our best foods (collos + ropa vieja + queso + papas) and wine here in our entire Canarian holiday.

Very fairly priced. Staff are very friendly, helpful and patient (as I don't speak Spanish at all) and even gave a great recommendation. Food is good and one can really have a taste of homemade local cuisine here. Would definitely recommend this place and would come back to it whenever I can. This is definitely a hidden gem.

Just perfect! A crazy irish guy dragged us in this place so we came with no expectations and then wow…really good food, huge portions for a reasonable price! Will definitely come back when I‘m in Las Palmas. MUY RICO!

At 10 o’clock on a Saturday morning Nancy and I left our Airbnb looking for a place to have breakfast. A block away we found the Papín café and enjoyed a Spanish omelette, a large portion of bacon, a large piece of crusty bread, and 2 cups of coffee for only €11. It was delicious and the service was good. We recommend that you try it out.

They have the best Spanish tortilla I ever tasted. It's more a place for locals than the touristy places on the boardwalk, with reasonable prices.

I've come back here several times for one simple reason: This neighborhood cafe has one of the best tortillas of the island (and I've tried quite a few). Very local atmosphere. The estofado also looks delicious, so I will try that dish next time.

I was made to feel welcome by Miguel and recommended the Callo and lamb dish, served with fresh bread and some mature cheese. The food was incredible. I was just disappointed I had discovered this place the day before leaving. Miguel is a great host and the chef was great too.
