Restaurant Bar and grill Spanish restaurant

😠 If I could put 0 instead of 1 star I would. We are 2 homosexual couples and were refused by the rudest boss ever, saying it was « complete » but all the tables were empty and obviously not reserved. Big discrimination, don’t go there if you have values.

Very rude and haughty people including the boss. They make a selection (probably only accept people who look rich..)

The restaurant is currently called Al Norte and advertised as Basque cuisine restaurant, so I decided to give it a try, as I have never tested the Basque cuisine before. The first dish, calamari rings, was exactly the same calamari rings that one may get in every sea food restaurant around the world, no difference. Deep fried calamari rings, served next to a lemon wedge and a few parsley leaves for decoration. If this is a Basque traditional dish, I'm Cristiano Ronaldo. I'm not saying that calamari rings weren't good, I'm only saying they are not Basque food. However, a cold pint of Mahou beer matched them very well. The second dish, instead, came from another world. Txipirones en su tinta - baked squid in their ink, served with boiled rice and a glass of dry rosè wine. Well, this dish was delicious and saved my dinner. Excellent service and sparkling clean restaurant.
