Very nice sushi, we had a lovely visit! Bit expensive though (for example for almost 10 euro for a wakame salad as a starter..?). But for sushi with good and fresh taste and just the right amount of rice, it was allright price. One small minus comes from the wasabi, it was not that strong as it should be.

The Best Japanese Restaurant I’ve ever tried in my life. Amazing. Speechless. An unusual menu with a lot of interesting combinations hand made in a super professional way.

Not a tourist trap. Fancy, expensive, quality. Not for having a beer but to having delicious dinner.

Probably the best sushi I've ever eaten world wide. Staff were excellent, sushi was authentic. Thanks to the Irish Rover, Conor for you're recommend. The nicest meal we have had in Gran Canaria 👍

As an asian I am quite picky with Japanese food. But Hito has exceeded my expectation. They use the fresh ingredients for their sushi and sashimi, and they also have creative menus such as apple gyozas and paper rolls. The cuisine there can be categorised as japanese but also european fusion. I'd go there again for the quality and variety.

Sushi plate looked beautiful but tasted under average. Some fish, the tuna, didn't seem as fresh as it should be. And the eel was awful. When telling the waitress she ignored it and just asked if we wanted anything more. Too expensive too.

Not too shabby! Good service. The Toro sashimi was very fresh. Good gyozas. Clean restaurant. They offer Japanese beer too.

Excellent! Exactly how quality sushi is supposed to be. Best quality fish in small pieces on just enough rice. This place could be in London, NY, Beijing or Berlin. Attractive presentation, friendly staff. I'LL BE BACK ...

Amazing vegetation sushi menu and platter! Considering the island is not vegetarian friendly this restaurant is the best meal that we had on our holiday. So a big thank you! Loved the story in the menu made the experience extremely special!

Absolutely superb food, service, and ambiance. The menu includes a variety of traditional Japanese and fusion dishes. We had the mixed tempura, gyoza two style salmon sliced thinly, ikura, the spicey tuna with avocado roll, and all were delicious. We'd also highly recommend the ice cream tempura for desert. The service was friendly and excellent .

If I only could use one word to describe Hito, it would be OVERPRICED. The food was good. The quality was good. Still, I find the price wasn't justifiable. You can get similar quality at more reasonable prices in Fuji. You can get decent quality and quantity in Genxi Sushi. Ok, the sushi is the right size, you can put the whole piece in your mouth, but there could be more pieces per portion, couldn't there? We didn't have neither wine nor coffee nor dessert, and neither did we have toro and still, the bill was €40 per person. And we weren't stuffing ourselves. The Pad Thai was a disappointment. It came with too much liquid (this isn't a soupy dish!) and the peanuts weren't crushed. The taste wasn't too bad, but it's a far cry from being authentic and certainly, there wasn't anything authentic about the price! Especially when considering that this is originally a humble peasant dish! Sadly to say, this won't be a place I'd be rushing back anytime soon.

Excellent sushi restaurant near Las Canteras beach. We did get a table without a reservation at lunch time. Service was friendly and professional. Dishes were from excellent to good as it is usual in any excellent level restaurants because tastes differ. We will visit again whenever we are around! Itadakimasu!

Waouw style Japanese restaurant ! I know lot’s of sushi restaurants in Brussels, I like Japanese food ! I can tell that this place is above average, very tasty and very good fish quality ! The edemame were nicely cooked and a pleasant salmon tartare style starter was offered ! Price is above average here but we are talking about top quality !

Honestly the best sushi I’ve had in my life! Very authentic with a touch of fusion! I’ve traveled all over the world and can honestly say this is THE best sushi I’ve ever tasted! Would give 10 stars if I could! Professional service and great views too!

Very good and fresh sushi! We were never disappointed. Prices are also ok for sushi places, food is always fresh. Place is quite small, but we never had a problem getting a table. They also make reservations.

Excellent Japanese food. I was impressed the first couple of times I came here some years ago, and my expectations were exceeded once again when we recently decided to make a new visit. Our favorite this time was the New Maduro Roll with tuna tartar, but everything was great, including the incredibly tasty mochi for desert. In the past I've also had some excellent tuna tataki here. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Sushimi and Yakitori was quite good, sushi was truly average, not terribly exciting and uninspiring. Mediocre restaurant to say the least.
