This
place
has
Michelin
recommendation,
so
I
couldn't
miss
the
opportunity
to
visit
it
during
my
stay
in
Las
Palmas.
It's
probably
the
best
restaurant
in
Las
Palmas,
but
for
Michelling
recommendation
it
is
a
disappointment.
First
of
all,
we
had
a
table
booked
at
8pm,
we
arrived
7:58
and
the
restaurant
was
still
closed.
After
few
minutes
we
were
welcomed
and
sitted
outside
on
a
very
windy
day,
the
table
looked
very
cheap
and
buses
were
passing
by
just
few
meters
away.
The
menu
was
different
from
what
we
usually
see
in
Michellin
started
restaurants.
Tasting
menu
was
unfortunately
unavailable.
The
menu
was
offering
several
positions,
which
were
recommended
to
be
shared.
Prices
were
different
for
English
and
Spanish
versions,
which
looked
really
dodgy,
but
we
were
charged
the
lower
prices
after
all.
The
main
part
now:
food.
The
presentation
was
fabulous,
michellin
star
level.
Every
dish
was
described
and
presented
by
the
waitress
or
the
chef
himself
(in
very
good
English,
which
is
quite
rare
in
Spain).
Unfortunately,
the
taste
was
disappointing.
It
seemed
like
chefs
focused
on
the
presentation
but
totally
forgot
that
the
taste
is
the
most
important
factor.
We
ordered
7
dishes
in
total.
Scallops
were
delicious,
but
that's
it.
Others
were
ok,
but
nothing
impressive.
Last
part,
the
bill.
The
prices
were
reasonable.
But...
We
were
charged
€1.50
for
amuse-bouche,
which
is
supposed
to
be
free
by
definition.
Seriosuly,
for
€100+
bill
I
cannot
understand
why
restaurant
on
this
level
would
charge
for
it.
To
sum
up
everything,
its
surely
one
of
the
best
restaurant
in
Las
Palmas,
but
for
a
Michellin
recommendation
it's
unfortunately
dissapoitning.
