😠 We sat down for the Gazpacho that was advertised on the chalkboard. Although there were six people at shift and only two tables were with guests, the chalkboard was not up to date. After we found out there is no Gazpacho although especially advertised. I wanted to Order the Menu (4 times the price)... People often mention good, service, menu, restaurant, nice,

Very good food, fast service, very good value for money! It's a special old atmosphere in an old taverna, nice to see locals eating and drinking. Bad english, but speaking with hands will work wonders. Definitely recommend!

We sat down for the Gazpacho that was advertised on the chalkboard. Although there were six people at shift and only two tables were with guests, the chalkboard was not up to date. After we found out there is no Gazpacho although especially advertised. I wanted to Order the Menu (4 times the price) instead for myself while my accompaniment wanted a salad. The waiter told us that it would not be possible and that we both had to get the menu or neither will get s menu. Wait, what? Yes, you heard right. It is not possible to have a menu for one person when the other person on the table wants to eat a la carte. First time I have heard that. So we got lured in by food they do not actually have and then they want you to order two Menus with three courses instead of the one single soup you came for. It is basically a tourist trap money grab with unfriendly and incompetent service.

First class and introduced by my new friends who have been residents in Las Palmas for decades. They knew the owner and local staff so this was a treat to be sure! The venue was packed. What a wonderful array of foods from Patas con mojo to the cedro (pork with crackling) and the local ‘gofio’ (cornmeal powder base: malty flavor) and lemon mousses for dessert sharing. I’ll be back as this was a memorable time in great company.

Very delicious menu, big portions - I have ordered soup of the day and salad and I was full - no place for dessert :) And desserts looked awesome so next time I'll order one main course and dessert. Nice and helpful staff.

The potatoes and the gazpacho were good. The chicken breast with bread crumbs had a fishy taste and smell and the fries were soft and soaked with oil. Slightly disappointing.

We have enjoyed our brunch here. Very good atmosphere and nice service. We have tried typical canarian food such an canarian potatoes, pata asado, and fried fish. I would suggest to add mojo sauce to the canarian potatoes and look for a better quality meat type.

Chose due to Google reviews and great choice. Disappointed at first as no outdoor seats so had to sit inside. In end glad we did, plenty atmosphere (banter between staff and locals), even local chatting to us, helping with menu etc (smile goes a long way). Got potatoes, mixed salad and squid with bread. Really it was too much for the two of us but didn't leave much...couple of tatties! All that, couple large beers, juice, and a sweet came to €50.....banter was free... :) If we'd found earlier would definitely return but maybe next time. Highly recommend...

They asked us to wait for a table for ab 10 min, which we patiently did, since that was the place we wanted to eat at. Once they’ve cleared and cleaned the table, the waiter brought us menus and never came back. About 20 min later, we left the restaurant. I guess our business was not important to them. So that’s the score they got.

It was okay, but quite expensive. They use cocktail sauce and some shrimps and charge 16€ for that. Service was okay though

Bodegón is a great choice for a casual lunch or dinner. The service is friendly and quick, making the dining experience a pleasant one. The day menu is affordable, fulfilling and usually offers tasty options. Overall, Bodegón is a good option for a satisfying meal.

A traditional restaurant to taste canary food. Quality, quantity and considerate prices. A place to visit and taste.

Amazing place in the heart of Las Palmas. We had super tasty calamares, papas and croquetas. The absolute Highlight was the Ensalada templada con rulo de cabra! I think I've never had a better salad. A pure symphony with all its components. On top of amazing food you have very friendly staff. Tip Top!!!

Excellent quality food and attentive service. So difficult to find good traditional canary cooking. Wonderful potaje canario and the pescado a la plancha, as has often been my experience, did not have the life cooked out of it! Mouth watering, tender and beautifully seasoned, served with a fresh salad and boiled potatoes. We shall return on our next visit to Las Palmas.

This is a very good restaurant in the centre of the old town in Las Palmas Gran Canaria. We stumbled across it one night and returned the following lunch and evening.
