We got a bill with half of the dishes ordered not by us. Good that we checked (we don’t speak Spanish, so it took time for us to translate), after it took more time to proof to the waiter we didn’t order it. Not fantastic experience :(

Nice restaurant with large choice of fresh fish and seafood. Offers also traditional canarian dishes. 👍🏼 We've had garlic prawns and fried octopus. Both tasted great. The prawns were served in hot oil and garlic. Octopus was crunchy on the surface and nicely soft inside, not stiff. Portions were quite sufficient, we were too full to order a dessert or coffee. Unfortunatelly the service couldn't speak english, but the restaurant has also an english menu. We've enjoyed the meal and appreciated the autenticity and freshness. 👌🏽

My Fula was Great in taste but sadly they served the fish as a Kitchen Battlefield. Totally destroyed Looks like tradition here, something i still not understand but ok.

Vale a pena ... As we are tourists we discovered this germ by accident.... And this was the place to try a Paella marisco, because they will prepare it fresh.... And we were right... Delicioso.... vale a pena And the service was very good- gracias

Beautiful food with fantastic service. Laura was an excellent host. El Padrino will be a place I will go to each time I return to Gran Canaria. Such friendly and courteous staff.

One of those restaurants where you can meet the locals and enjoy the atmosphere. Saturday lunchtime is packed by Spaniards - whole multigenerational families joining in for the meal and great time. We got salad and some fried puntillas (little squid), some wine and an espresso. All really delicious. The server was super nice and helped with the choice.

Found by chance, driving around. Fits my criteria. Not fancy looking, usually plastic chairs and tables. Local clientele. Fresh and wicked food. Really nice service.

I stopped here by chance while on a hike. All the tables were reserved, good for them, but they found a place for me and we're very friendly. Lovely food, restaurant and service. I'd definitely like to come back for dinner and try more dishes.

Cozy backyard, delicious food where you can really notice the freshness of fish and seafood. On Saturdays they serve their special “Sancocho” fish. A must try!

Great à la carte restaurant; serving a big group at once is challenging and requires different procedures.

I ordered a plate of Jambon (ham) for 20+ euros, which seemed like a nice meat plate. The picture next to the menu showed an appropriate amount of ham in the plate for the price. But the one I got was about 1/4 of what was actually shown! An absolutely laughable amount! When I finished my plate and asked for more, the server (who didn't attend to us for a very long time) said there's no way they'd give me more, because it's "very expensive" ham. Even if it was very expensive, the amount I got couldn't be worth than 5 euros. The menu-card is only in Spanish and very confusing, as they mixed the menus and the shop items together, making it unclear what's there to eat and what's just to buy.
