Best food in Las Palmas. I was in Gran Canaria for over a week and this was my favorite restaurant by far. The food was a bit more priced than other restaurants, but it was definitely worthy.

Very yummy food. A place with an ocean view. We took fish in brioche and octopus King prawn shrimp (I hope I get the names right). And the beer was good too. Friendly staff

If you think that restaurants "en la playa" cannot be also gourmet quality I urge you to visit Mar. My wife and I travel frequently to Las Palmas for business and we've eaten at many places that feature at the top of the lists .. but so far nothing comes close to Mar. And on top of the excellent food you have the sights and sounds of the sea. Could not ask for more.

Nice service. Well recommended dishes and portion for me. One taco and one main dish with cola! Perfectly full after surfing.

Great service and great food! Original take on the ensaladilla rusa, with a fried egg with runny yolk on top. Ibérico risotto and octopus and prawn timbal were also good.

Food was really good, but the service was really really bad. Forgotten orders, dishes came 10 minutes apart (several times) and we got charged for calamares we didn’t order. Would not recommend.

Simply delicious classics, each with a twist, made from high-quality ingredients, an unbeatable view and Martí’s excellent service would easily put this place among the best restaurants in town, if it weren’t for the laid-back “tasca” atmosphere. 10/10 don’t want to share.

Really nice restaurant with a good view. Especially breakfast is great (served until 13:00 on workdays, until 12:00 on all other days).

We went there @20:15 and they were closed even though mentionned open on Google.
