Why we could not see this nice food presentation, boiled and ugly chicken pieces side no veg or garnish ahh sorry later on they brought a plastic plate I think it was from the kids menu, there were 2 pieces of stone in my seafood pasta, also sand inside the mussels which is normal but it was not cleaned properly, but service was reasonable, at least we know this food nightmare was not related to service, would we go there again nahhhh menu needs to change first

Had two absolutely delicious meals both times we went there, the owner and the staff are super friendly and the restaurant is always beautifuly decorated and nicely lit. If you are visiting Gran Canaria then make sure to visit Valentine's!

It was a pretty good place to just go to. It seemed like they cared and tried their best to fix any imperfections (try to go before 20:00, after 21:00 wait times got a lot longer) . We got free Cava when seated and the 'chef's compliments' were very tasty. The food itself was quite good, my steak could have used more salt and pepper. Salads were excellent, or so I heard... Unfortunately there is a very loud bar next doors, which hurt the atmosphere a lot. But hey, that's what you can expect from a mall restaurant. And as far as mall restaurants go, this was probably as good as you can get, there were no pushy guys trying to get just anyone in there, there were just good chefs and good staff doing their best, and that is always great to experience.

We went with a group of eight to eat at Valentine's. We were given a very friendly welcome. We were all given a welcome drink. After taking our order, we got our appetiser fairly quickly. This was fine. However, the carpaccio was not recommended. This was not seasoned and without sauce. The chicken with mango, on the other hand, is highly recommended. For the main course, for most of us, everything was fine. The meat was well cooked and nicely seasoned. However, the chicken with spinach was very dry and not well seasoned. Highly recommended, then, is the steak. Furthermore, the side dishes were on the meagre side. Per person, we had 4 fries and a spoonful of lettuce. In terms of price-quality, Valentina's is on the high side. Especially if you compare it with the restaurants around.

I came here because of a recommendation. I had some amazing tartar of tuna with mango for starters (which just lacked a bit of seasoning) and a very tasty truffle pasta. I can recommend this restaurant to everybody who is looking for a bit of finer dining. The cute waiters are an additional plus 😉☺️

Very nice restaurant on the 1st floor inside the Yumbo CC. The place has a nice view of the square. Very friendly staff and very helpful and they know what they're doing. The owner is a sweetheart and he knows how to treat his guests! Delicious food and good wine! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back! See you soon!

Our first visit here for our 10th wedding anniversary and we were completely blown away! Amazing food, first class service from an excellent team! Even had our own personal decorated table. First visit of many I suspect 💖❤️

The waiter who served us was as polite and efficient as I fully expect in any quality establishment. This restaurant has set its benchmark higher than its neighbours, and this can be seen straight away in the table settings, the menu, and the way we were looked after. I was treated to a meal here by my friend as a birthday treat. He chose well. This restaurant is top class. It may appear more expensive, but I believe you get value for money dining here. The menu is not overburdened like many of the others. The food was excellent, and the drinks selection very good. Thank you guys for a lovely meal.

Great service and great food. The price for the food and the service is in balance. From the week we stay there we eat ,5 times at this lovely restaurant.

This place is absolutely incredible! The staff were so friendly. We went for a meal to celebrate our honeymoon and they made it so special. The atmosphere was intimate and romantic. The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious. I highly recommend! Definitely will be returning. Thank you so much for an incredible experience from start to finish. From a complimentary glass of bubbles, beautifully presented cocktails and sparklers in the dessert, 10/10. Best place in gran canaria!!

Nice staff bit we left without eating. Very slow service. After 45 minutes wait,still no meal. To be fair they apologised and didn't charge us for the drinks we had.

We went there with friends. Great service, friendly, and very tasty food (They make great steak and really tasty french fries, which are actually Belgian fries, since French people cannot cook proper fries...) They had great Christmas decorations in December.

The staff at Valentine's were excellent, very attentive and friendly. The food was extremely tasty and topped off with complimentary drinks when greeted and licquers as a nightcap. The bill was much lower than in UK restaurants of similar standard. We will definitely visit again.

Very good dishes, more pricy than at other places. Waiters are top, all 3 of the guys are friendly helpful and always looking after the tables. Paulo is Always smiling and in a good mood. The atmosfere was also very nice because of the Christmas decoration. We will go back there soon.

SERVICE 5 STARS food 4. Special entrecot was too sweet you could tell they had added extra sugar to onions. Meat was not the best but fine. But in general a decent meal

Extremely bad service, 50 minutes before a menu was given, and almost 2 hrs for main course. The excuse was that they only had 2 cooks in the kitchen, but we kept seeing people being served way before us. Drinks were not even replenished (although a complimentary glass of cava was offered when they realised that we had been waiting for the menu for a long time).. to top it all off the waiter asked us if we were finished just after 20 minutes of us eating…shambles. I would strongly not advice this place, unless you love waiting hours for service and being overlooked.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! I can not beleive this place has so many good reviews. Our experience was terrible ! Long waits, mixed up orders and a VERY RUDE manager that did not care to fix the situation. After waiting an hour and then food order was wrong , the manager told us we ordered wrong and did not want to fix. We left and still paid for everything with out even eating.

Really good food. Nice staff. But takes forever to get the food. Were here two times this week, and one time the year before. Same thing all the three times - good food, talkes forever.

Despite a nice welcoming, food is average like other average " restaurants" in Yumbo : frozen ingredients put together in butter sauce...too expensive for what it really is. The bill was wrong as they first charged with 2 bottes of water we never ordered.

Such lovely staff members and the food was even better than expected. A bit pricy, but do you want real delicious food, at least once during your holliday, this is the place!

Brilliant food when we visited Valentines! We were greeted with a glass of fizz on arrival and then shown to our seats. The list of drinks and food was great, I went for the pork tenderloin and my wife chose the seafood pasta, both were delicious. The service was also brilliant, thank you.

Fantastic food, really nice service. Had the pasta from the chef which was homemade ravioli with a lobster sauce. Very fresh and great diverse food. Bit on the pricey side so be weary of this if on a budget.

We were disappointed with our experience at this restaurant - it looked quite promising from the outside but we wished we had kept walking. It was far too busy for the staff to cope, they were literally running around and this was not at all relaxing. When the food eventually came it was poor, and sounded far better on the menu. My lamb in date sauce was no more than a few scratty pieces of lamb in a sauce with a hefty price tag. The most disappointing thing was the mains which looked like something out of a school canteen - everyone in the restaurant gets the same, a bit of salad, some multi coloured pasta (😳) and what were described as ‘canarian potatoes’ which bore no resemblance to the real thing. We paid the not inconsiderable bill and left wishing we hadn’t bothered.
