Tranquil park beside the highway. Good for small kids but no real green space

The town counsel did a great job repurposing an old soccer stadium into a public park. It's nice that they did not just bulldoze this piece of local history. The park itself is very peaceful with a nice jogging path, plenty of places to rest, and a playground for the kids. There is no cost to enter.

Bad maintenence and people walking on the track. Holes and bumps all over :/ The grass and nature surrounding the track is very well kept though.

A great place to let the kids expand themselves, situated in the middle of the city with an every day more oppressing and kid unfriendly urban landscape. It's a pity, this otherwise great facilities lack cafeteria services (although it has the infrastructure) for parents and kids, which lower the usage of the park: people (kids and adults) drink and since we are social animals while the kids play together, the parents sit together having a pleasant tertulia about how to fix the word.

Creative how they changed the football station into a park. There is a little bar as well were you can order drinks and easy food. The play garden is nice. Only drawback are the two bigger slides. They were a bit dangerous for kids <4 years in my opinion. One was very hot because of the sun (potential for skin burns) and the other slide has sharp corner right at the end while the beginning is straight down (my son hit his head on the side the first time).

It's good that they've repurposed the old footy stadium.

Very nice park to bring the kids (really of any age, there is space for everybody). The park has been created in what formerly was the old football stadium. The Spanish national team played a few games here back in the days. There is a kiosk with tables outside, next to the playground area. The maintenance is good and luckily there are corners with shade so that you don't have to roast yourself while your kid plays. Dogs are not allowed.

It is nice to see a bit of grass and trees, but I expected something more like a park

Great place to do yoga and some sports. Also great to have a picnic. There is a area covered with roof in case it starts to rain. Includes a restaurant and marvelous children playground. Come with friends or whole family.

A good and peaceful park which is based of an old adapted football stadium. It's an ok place either to hangout, do some excercise or go with the children. It has a sort of close atmosphere because of it natural stadium based structure but it's still a good place with a bar on a higher level to enjoy the view and drink/eat something.

Nice play area with a bar right next to it, what more to look for? 😀 towards mid day, Sunday it got a bit bussy but nothing terrible.

So much life here shows a lovely and respectful solution for an old emotional stadium. A heartwarming place to visit for every supporter

If you are in Las Plamas with young children, this is the perfect place for one afternoon. We had a nice time with our granddaughter. Modern kids climbers and everything clean and kept. A nice restaurant with outdoor seating on the playground will allow you to relax when your baby is sleeping in the baby carriage.

Restful surroundings in the center of the busy hub of Las Palmas. Not far from Alcarabaneras beach. Cafe, Bars and terraces nearby too.
